Before anybody wonder why MK doesn't have a page.
I think you will be able to choose from those hats you collect in Streetpass mii Plaza,
all the hats shown untill now originate from there,
I think this is part of the 3DS/WiiU Connectivity.
Make Bandanna Dee look a bit more plausible now...
>There is a very real possibility Meta Knight will not be nerfed
The invitation was left on the ground in Villager's trailer and he approached it. People forget that. He also appeared on the Amiibo image along with "Marth".
Watch him be a Villager clone.
>He's even stronger than before
I guess this definitely confirms Bandana Dee will replace Meta Knight.
Find Mii 2 has ghosts with a Black/White shields that you need a black and a white Mii for.
And grim reapers that cast a poison gas that will make your Miis just leave with a 2/3 chance.
And diamond golems with a defense of 2.
How the fuck are fedoras related to Ridley at all
How the fuck is Ridley related to this at all
Piss off retard, you're the worst of them
Shitposting has reached a whole new level, where you just slap words together and it doesn't even make any sense.
Don't forget that you have to do multi pathways and about 8+ playthroughs of find mii 2 AND the fucking secret quest.
Seriously, I have two family members who I maxed out and would use to go through the game AND swap colors on command, but jesus fuck that game is downright arcade. it's like it's designed to "suck your money" but there is no money to be had!
Honestly, it's better to get the other 4 games and use the tickets to buy the newer hats.
And so it starts, not with a "Ridley is in" but with a "I can't wait for Ridleyfags" and "delusional"
i might as well get this out of the way.
You brought this perpetual thread destruction on yourselves.
Mii force is a shooter game and the colors of the people you pass = your weapons
Flower town is cozy as fuck where you grow flowers, though people you pass regularly help get rarer plants.
Warriors way is strategic Rock/Paper/Scissors action using the entire plazas of people you pass in full on wars.
haunted mansion is a comprehensive RPG where the peopel you pass give you floor tiles. Combining large square areas of a single area nets better weapons and perks.
All 4 of these games have "achievements".
these achievements net you "plaza tickets"
These tickets are used on a 'store' that allows you to buy hats and full on costumes for your Mii to wear.
it has a random 4 hats every day or two that cycle around.
you won't be able to buy a Luigi hat through it, but i think you can buy a whole luigi costume.
it's also got all sorts of other things, including spaghetti and fried chicken and gamecube hats and all sorts of other outfits.
honestly, they are more fun than any of the shit in find mii barring the samus helmet and the metroid hat.
One such buyable hat is metaknight's mask or even bandana dee who sits on your head.
Be sure not to spend all your tickets at once. wait for it to cycle before spending your bottom tickets as some of the final achievements are hard as balls/really tedious to get.
Cheep Cheep confirmed
Isabelle and Tom Nook confirmed
Waddle Dee confirmed
Prince Fluff confirmed
Ice Climbers confirmed
Ice Cream confirmed
There was a free update to the plaza that made it so that you can buy the new games. If you're deliberately trying not to update, I can't help you there. You can get each game for $5, or all of them for $15. I thought the mansion and shooter games were the most fun, but I've heard a lot of people have enjoyed the flower game and think it's the best. The conquest game is alright, but not worth spending money on by itself.
>Ridley is a villain
>Nintendo games has villains
>Legend of Zelda has villains
>Ganondorf is already playable
>Ganondorf is the embodiment of Demise's rage
>Demise's sword is Ghirahim
>Ghirahim is a villain
No, it's outright shown that the lava isn't the stage hazard.
>The fuck is Ice Cr-
Stop. Shut your fucking mouth. I refuse to believe anyone could unironically not want Ice Cream as a playable in Smash bros, you subhuman shit. Get out.
That IS the Final Destination version.
I recommend buying all 4 (there is a special deal where you buy three, get one free). There should be an option in the mii attractions plaza (where you choose panel swap or find mii) as there are 4 holes in the ground with a rabbit in them.
mii force gives the quickest tickets at first, but the last couple are a pain in the ass.
Flower town is slow and steady and the tutorial guy can give the fucking owl from OoT a run for his money in the amount you want him to shut up., but all the tickets are pretty easy to get over time.
Warrior's way gets easier the longer you play it, though the "battle other monarchs 300 times) (not win) is irritating as fuck.
haunted Mansion is downright fun, especially if you have folks of specific colors you pass regularly. i actually look forward to playing it and planning my strategies all the time. the tickets are again slow and steady.
by getting all 4 and getting the easy tickets, you'll have enough to get all the character specific ones so long as you don't buy any of the food or nintendo accessory hats.
As I said, let it cycle and only buy hats/outfits right away should you REALLY WANT IT. it cycles forever and gives you around 24 hours to settle on a decision.
Since that was one of the last things giving me hope for his inclusion and my hopes have been crushed, do I have to start shitposting and screaming too big? I'd rather just try to give Ridleyfans some hope in a perhaps off chance Sakurai has a surprise in store.
This is true, though there may not even be a hazard.
Allow me to explain.
An anon had studied all the pyrosphere images from launch date and couldn't identify the "no fun/for glory" version of pyrosphere. Surely that would shed some light on this whole Ridley mess, yes?
Well, he watched the direct and found pic related and even included the timestamp.
Mentioning that the lava was not flowing on the no hazard version seemed to indicate lava would be the hazard (a trope for at least once metroid stage in smash bros).
Others pointed out that the "Ridley holes" were still there and indicated that he may not use them/show up at all, giving credit to the possibility that he's playable.
However, post E3 this year, a press release package was leaked containing>>257388854.
FD stages can allegedly be played WITH hazards still on, but another link to the "online mode" area of the official smash bros website said it was a shot of the "no fun/for glory" version.
Therefore, it's best to assume it is merely a decoration like the Metal gear exploding out of Shadow moses.
however, so could the holes.
This leads no fact for or against Ridley in the end and is, in fact, a separate subject.
There's also those canisters underneath. They could be coolant for rising lava since they aren't there in that one Metroid abomination. Their location wouldn't really benefit a boss hazard Ridley, either.
So For Glory online mode sets everything to FD with no hazards, but you can still have hazards on in FD versions of stages that aren't For Glory? If so then yeah, the lava 'could' still be the actual Pyrosphere hazard.
Hey, if the trophy theory comes true, we might get him AND impa
or possibly SS impa as a Shiek skin
>Tki has "Encountering Robin" playing
>Pseudo Palutena has "Palutena's theme" playing
>Fi has 'Goddess Ballad" playing
>"Someone Storyline important" seems to be suggested here
>King kihunter has *is beaten to death by a mob of frothing /v/eople who are all wearing shirts with a crossed out purple face on it*
it's a system where you set your home up to act like a spotpass hotspot. I know nothing more on it, sadly, but really ,visit a starbucks or a best buy or any place with wifi access and you should nab some good passes.
>Fire Emblem gets a new game
>It saves the franchise
>Gets new reps
>Kid Icarus gets a new game
>Series suddenly gains tremendous popularity due to the game's quality and the availability to be able to play a game with "That pit guy from smash bros" in it
>Gets new reps
ALL NEW TROPHIES ARE HINTS GUYS
Yeah, those things are very peculiar...
For glory is literally:
Sakurai mentioned that people did like FD for all sorts of things (I liked using it to try out effects of pokeball pokemon and test final smashes, etc) and made FD variants of most of the stages. I would assume this is just a toggle and everything else goes on normally on the stage.
The most frustrating thing though is that we have EXTREMELY limited views on the stage as a whole due to Sakurai now allowing it in any of the demos.
Honestly, the only footage of any fighting on pyrosphere comes from the character reveal trailers, and you're lucky if you get more than 2 seconds per stage.
Goku held back. Even vegita and piccolo knew he could have stopped him but didn't.
Goku explained that he didn't because he's already dead and not gonna be around to keep saving the world.
goten and trunks were extremely young when they turned super and training them in the art of fusion even lead them to finding out how to reach SSJ3.
It's just that everyone thought fat buu was as strong as he'd get.
So does this mean Samus is now a canonical Bounty Hunter and not a title that "sounds cool?"
I never understood this arguement.
First off. Why can't a character rep two series? Yoshi is both a Mario and Yoshis Island character. Simple as that.
Secondly. Who gives a shit? There's no hard limit on how many reps each game series can have. They can go fucking wild with each series if they want to.
hey, all Sakurai has to do is a pic of the day showing ridley in a clear view and saying "Look at who the new stage hazard is!" or show girahim as an AT.
I'm sure it'd take him, what, 5 minutes to do that.
Certainly nothing like a year or 4 months.
>Who gives a shit?
look how he didn't want to overepresent kirby back in the day and how he made mario the most represented franchise in smash, see how they have more reps in melee than pokemon and the same amount in brawl
Yes, all non-confirmed characters are actually in the game because they weren't deconfirmed. Good job trying to learn how to rationalizate but it seems to be still way to much to a toddler like you, now get out
but I think it was Sakamoto who said she doesn't hunt bounties, but just has the name because it sounds cool.
Also Didnt SSJ3 drain like all of Goku's energy since he was literally on borrowed time.
Also I really like that little twist, learns SSJ3 in the afterlife but cant really use it while alive very well since it uses so much energy, and in the afterlife he basically had unlimited energy so he wasn't really aware of that limit.
The confusion actually comes from one of the Metroid creators accidentally mistaking "bounty hunter" for "mercenary".
notice how Samus keeps taking on impossible blow-the-fuck-out-of-everything missions and even enlisted for a "protect the dumbass researchers on SR-388"? That's merc stuff, not bounty hunter stuff.
She's not hunting down individual perps.
This was revealed during the creation of prime 3 when Retro was going to add a mechanic to capture/eliminate key targets for Credits, which you could use to upgrade your ship (such a key component that they had the ship enhancements finalized before they even asked).
After that confusion was cleared up, it was re-written into the Metroid lore what Samus is.
A "bounty" is both a key target or a mission that involves basically merc work that pays out the dosh.
A person who takes on these "bounties" as a source of living is referred to as a "Hunter".
So yes, Samus is a "Bounty Hunter", even though her work, by definition, is mercenary work.
Nips often do this. They'll appropriate english or latin words or religious symbols and use them for their game because they sound/look "cool", yet they know nothing about their meaning.
I don't know man. I'm not the creator who comes up with this shit. That's why I'm the one asking all this shit.
thank you for your informative post, flying space dragon.
No prob. Friendship is my strength.
yeah, though really, compare THAT to pic related.
i swear, Sakamoto had the team draw out the plans for the characters and then never fucking used them.
I mean, pic related is slimmer and has a lot of nods to his Super Metroid design, save for not having the hooked snout. hell, in game it turns upwards and he's twice as /fit/.
A lot of people figure the shadow of Ridley is actually more in line with his ref art and it's hard to tell, but it looks like he has a hooked snout again.
Really, taking aspects from all the forms of Ridley wouldn't be a bad thing should Sakurai want to tribute all the forms he's taken through the years.
... Just a bit perplexing he'd fancy up a boss so much.
>Google isn't a source
Oh boy here we go.
>They VERY clearly drew half of it, mirrored it to make the full body, and then added the tale
Whoever did this can go fuck himself. If he's so lazy that he can't draw something like that, he doesn't deserve to be a concept artist.
Do people really want Ridley in if he only works with the Other M design?
I'm not opposed to the idea in general, but honestly I don't care who gets in if they are fun to play AND have nothing to do with Other M.
And I just have the feeling that Ridley won't work in Smash with his 2D or his Prime design. Metroid does not have to have another representation, since Smash is about gameplay, not about dick wrestling what Nintendo franchise is the most important or something. Unless it is about Other M. Fuck Other M.
>sakurai makes kirby air ride 2 after ssb4
A man can dream
i like the sketches
hes not too big you fuckers
Maybe the leaker just did the pokemon leaks.
Its possible that we already have the starting rosterm and any character we get from now on is a hidden character, so the leaker decided not to leak the smash stuff since there wouldnt be new info since its just suppose to show the starting roster.
IDK man, i dont know the leaker
Watching the 7/14 reveal trailer again makes me wonder, is it ever weird for those from other English-speaking countries that almost all video game voice acting is by Americans? Especially in games like Fire Emblem where it's a fantasy setting. Or is it something you've all gotten used to by now?
My mind also drifts to games like Persona that are explicitly set in Japan, yet the English VA is of course all Americans.
i think its actually more jarring when everyones got english accents when its anything taking place in the past. fucking romans, speak like theyre from the north. fuck that shit, and you
Its a fucking .webm you filthy casual wanker
Better than 2 and 3, but still brought down by the free for all. Seriously if it's supposed to be Smash Bros why the fuck do they do a tap out system sometimes? The first one was the best because it actually had boundaries. Also the announcers in 2 and 3 didn't add anything, just subtracted from it.
>Mii Swordsman is a higher tier then Link
>Lonk from Godamn Pennsylvania is a better swordsman then Link is.
>was an important character in the latest metroid game
>likely actually more popular than Ridley in the first place
Plus it's clear that Sakurai wants people to love Other M.
I wish I was that close with somebody.
