>coming to PC in China
Going to guess it'll be in chinese only then, if Falcom doesn't want to port it over to NA & EU as well. Should also be easier for fan translations with a PC release, if that ever catches interest.
>Games I have used my Vita for Vita games for
all dem psones
all dem psps
all dem weebpgs
gravity rush was alright, wish it would have been more gravity platforming and less combat
> in china only
enjoy learning chinese.
If there's already a english translation, I doubt any fan translator would do it.
Like they localized pc version of Seven, right?
Ys I, Ys II, Ys Oath, Ys Origin, Gurumin and TitS.
At least Muramasa rebirth + dlc is still exclusive to the vita.
And Freedom Wars.
Yup, a great purchase.
>people not realizing who're the faggots that are porting it are
Dont even try to strawman this about vita being shit, i goddamn agree its shit and i have one. The company porting it are terrible at their jobs.

Casey Hudson leaves BioWare
I got the collector's edition of this game and found it to be highly, highly disappointing. Simple combat, uninteresting locations, minimalist and generic story. What exactly is the reason people play this game? The Ys games that are already on steam are better in every way.
It's a shame there's really no program for buying a game on PC and then getting the handheld version for free or at a reduced price. I mean it would be pretty bitchin' just to play at your PC, transfer your saved data to your Vita/3DS whatever, and continue playing on the go.
I guess we'll just have to wait for that rumored Steamboy shit for that, even if it most likely would only work with Linux/SteamOS games, so Ys would be out unless they bother to port it.
Fucking Japs, start supporting Linux.
>I mean it would be pretty bitchin' just to play at your PC, transfer your saved data to your Vita/3DS whatever, and continue playing on the go.
>being this naive
Console corporations don't want that shit, they want you to be interested only on their products. Alliances and shit can't be done because of their greed.
>B-B-B-BUT IT'S IN CHINESE ONLY
Absolute, fucking retards, the lot of you.
The game is already out, in English. No translating is needed, which is the big time sink of making a TRANSLATION PATCH. All somebody needs to do is copy the regular vita versions text and slap it over the PC version.
We'll have an English patch in no time.
Regardless of how you try to deflect it, Ys MoC is out for PC users now, and not just for the Chinese.
The game is shit anyway, I have it for the Vita. Ys became shit when it started using the Ys Seven party system.
>Ys became shit when it started using the Ys Seven party system.
So fucking true. I hope falcom goes back to the Ark engine and allows jumping + adol only.
Seven and Celceta are so bad.
>Nayuta won't get a PC port
>XSEED will never translate it
>B-but it's ok if Falcom games are released only for consoles!
Sure they will translate a PSP game with million of words.
I don't give a shit about the party system, the combat and exploration were both boring as fuck. I could be playing any other hack & slash game instead, why would I play this?
That's called a classic case of you having shit taste, and gobbling any old shit up.
Meanwhile, the rest of the world has standards, and complain about games that are sub par.
No they never. I constantly hear people saying it is shit. It's being berated for being shit in this very thread, and rightfully so. The game is awful.
>Why would I want and complain about games when I could be enjoying myself playing them?
I'd take you more seriously if you could string a simple sentence together that actually makes some sense.
Sounds like you're hearing what you want to hear.
Since forever. Came out on PS2 (decent port, added stupid CG cutscenes you can thankfully turn off, also fully voiced in both English and Japanese) or you can find the original fully translated on your local Pirate Bay.
Either way, still one of the best Ys games.
I don't regret my purchase of the LE edition on Vita since I can support Falcom/XSEED and the box is sweet as hell, quite cheap for an LE even imported.
But at this rate its definitely going for paperweight rather than anything close to a gaming platform.
I swear that it's the same 2 faggots.
>hit and run
I hope you're not referring to the 3 optional titano, because those were a joke.
worst optional bosses I've ever seen. they were easier than the regular mandatory bosses
Don't reply to them.
Am I the only one who thought the sprites of PS2 Napishtim looked way better, almost like 3D models? Also the fairy challenges were a nice extra along with voices but in the end I guess PC version is superior because
Probably never, since I imagine Konami owns the script since it was used for the PS2/PSP ports. And Falcom probably doesn't want to spend the time and effort to retranslate it themselves.
If it's any comfort, the version on Pirate Bay has a script that seems largely identical to the PS2 version (though alas, you don't get to hear Scott McNeil straining to do the voice of a five-year-old boy.)
no, you kill yourself Chinese Internet Defence Force. Chinese is a shit language that should have died out millennia ago and those poor fucks don't even have money to buy games anyway.
Pretty sure the PS2 sprites WERE 3D models, done for the sake of consistency (since all the backgrounds and bosses were 3D.) And yeah, they looked good. Having played the PS2 version first, it was kinda weird playing the PC one and seeing everyone having big heads.
Don't particularly care about 60fps vs 30, but I'd say the PC version still wins graphically because higher resolution (the character close-ups especially look nicer on PC), but the PS2 version is better overall because of the voices and all the extras.
The PSP version, however, is to be avoided at all costs.
>tom said Falcom stopped PC development in 2011
>said they'll never return to it as Sen no Kiseki and Ys Celceta are their most successful games to date
>Having programmers to return to port it to the PC would require more resources than they have
>PC version of the games are incredibly buggy and known to be poorly coded
>Xseed's coder managed to break TiTS despite the game being incredibly stable when released on PC in japan
Yeah good luck getting more Falcom games not created by Falcom in the first place
Well obviously Xseed aren't going to say "Yeah, we're not going to translate it because you can just emulate it".
Do you believe any shit that they spew?
Xseed wouldn't even be required to add a translation patch to celceta.
Aww, you found me out straight away. I was having fun there.
>Are you gonna start playing Ark soon?
Funny you should say that, I was in the middle of fixing my configurations to play it right now.
Well, I hope you like it!
It's not as polished as Felghana... But, in atmosphere, I can safely say it trumps both Felghana and Origins.
Also, you were easy to find out due to
>How does it feel to gobble up any old shit that comes pouring out of their ass
I'm pretty sure you used it a couple times in other threads. I just don't understand why people are so itching to get into fights lately.
They said this long before ppsspp was as good at running the game as it is today. PPSSPP was unstable as fuck with most games when they made this statement.
If emulating PSP games was of any concern to them they wouldn't be fucking localizing Brandish, would they?
This is old news
