How about they finally fix the fact that the "Detail View" is filled with useless shit and it lacks more important details about the games, such as how much space it takes on the disk, whether it has Steam Cloud (both of these are present in the List View by the way), system requirements, updates changelogs, features and stuff like that?
When can we do basic shit from the year 2000 like send messages in game to someone who is not on your friend list, like xbox live does.
No hatemail from DaS 2 was fucking ridiculous, step up it Valve.
got an update for steam this morning, since then my steam client is practically burning. It's unresponsive as fuck and a pain to use.
Has anyone else got this?
Post what you're hiding.
Pic related. It hurts just looking at them.
hell nah, I'm actually hiding shit
I only have a few games installed at a time, about 10 or so since most of my hard drive is used mostly for work stuff with takes up a lot of space with psd files and shit. I like to have all my games shown to not what I want to install next
My Steam skin hasn't been updated for this update yet, but here's my hidden list.
Half-Life 2: Episode 1
Half-Life 2: Episode 2
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast
Left 4 Dead
Team Fortress 2
Thank fuck I can finally hide all that trash from my library.
God I want to hide this solely because of the shit title. Fuck whoever did this.
but you could always do that with categories
Now give us a feature to hide our friends
>That one guy on my friends list who I've known since school that is now a furfag
I have a lot of my Steam games also on gog (Divinity, Hitman series, Stalker series, Witcher 1).
>GOG babbies always shitting up Steam threads
>GOG babbies always compare GOG to Steam in OP
Why so buttdevastated?
A co-worker found my steam, the comment at the bottom haunts me to this day man
Actually, the mac versions of the Civ IV expansions were recently merged with their PC versions by using Steampaly.
Same thing for the old GTA games. I "lost" about mac 10 games during this update when they were rolled with their PC counterpart
oh man, thats deep
what if I'm just an illusion
OOH OOH OOH AAAH
Holy FUCK. What fantastic taste.
Hey man, I thought I'd just take a second to point out how much of a stupid fucking nigger you are.
I think that, if you get the opportunity, you should kill yourself.
Alright, I guess that was it. Have a great day, friendo.
>Thinking anything matters but the VIDEO GAMES.
>One Way Heroics
There's still hope for this board. Nice tastes.
I'm amazed you had the patience to keep playing Agarest.
I'll miss you, Steam rating that I once held with esteem until I realized it was an indicator of how much of my life I was wasting.
Lately, I think I'd be slamming that 10 every week, though.
This is the only anime i've ever watched. A friend told me to watch Kill la Kill but it was pretty shit. Everything else was pretty good. I also own Akira on bluray because thats my favourite movie
I finished watching Madoka just yesterday.
Holy ass that ending, I didn't expect that level of crazy from a magical girl anime.
I will not say any more in case you haven't finished it yet.
This. And that's all I want, really. So I don't need to see pic related, or all the shit games I got through bundles. Though I guess there are certain games I wish I could hide completely, it's not a priority.
Important question: if I search for a title, and it's hidden, will I still find it (assuming I'm searching in All Games)? That's where the function would shine for me.
>you are stupid because you dont have shittaste like I do
I could not play that one because it crahses
some of those are there because they dont work or died
>prince of persia
get better taste scrub
The sands of time trilogy was better, that's true true, but PoP 2008 was good too
The first dead space was good as well, despite being EA. The second was better in some ways and worse in others.
i would prefer having a stat reset or something.
>Game bugs out
>runs for 500 hours in the background after i exit because exe didn't quit properly or some shit
>now I'm stuck with it
Happened in two games.
Also it would be nice to remove dead old multiplayer games from achievment statistics and such.
>can't get any cheevos anymore
>stuck with shit score lowering my epeen
Zero actual value, just epeen, but somehow it still bothers me.
Valve have no interest in fixing broken cheevos and stats whatsoever, they either just assume literally nobody cares about them or they can't be bothered
or too busy selling virtual skins
Oh boy I'm so excited
Also if it doesn't hide it from your profile why does the blog post mention being reluctant to advertise your hours played?
>steam paving way for incoming adult game
oh man oh man, i am excited! they will never do this if no profit involved!
The future is cooooomingggggg~~~
Meh. I already have a category labelled terrible games containing such gems as Dark Souls 2, Binding of Isaac, and Quake 4. Kinda seems like a moot point when I can just never expand the menu.
People like garbage. This is factual, demonstrable, and objective. Budweiser is the most popular beer in the US, soccer is the most popular sport in the world, Macs are sought after and put on pedestals, Call of Duty still tops yearly sales charts, etc etc.
I'm sure it's been said already, but the article is wrong.
Your community profile would show 200hrs Leisure Suit Larry no matter what.
The hidden category is essentially a tag or blacklist that keeps titles from appearing under other categories, such as "installed" or "games"
MLP is good you humanfucker. Deny it all you want, but it's wellmade and wellwritten and the music is friendship tier. Dan Vs was ok but not even close to pony.
I don't even clop
It peaked with the introduction of the second season, but it was all downhill after that. I stopped watching after the terrible season 3 intro, but from what I hear it just keeps tumbling down.
>It went to shit after
No it went inconsistent after, some of the eps in s3 and s4 are garbage, but some are god-tier and better than season 1-2.
Which is which depends on your own tastes.
Does this mean when a game is hidden that when you're playing it your friends won't get a notification that you're in-game?
I've got a lot of games that need playing if that's the case.
>organizing your games into categories
>you're the autist, faggot.
yeah cause i own a steam account lmao
Achievements are 100% on the developer / publisher. Blame the eggheads that thought adding multiplayer achievements to a single player game was a good idea.
For the timer thing, I've never really had the problem that games don't close proper. But usually I get some idling in there, one way or another. It's just how it goes. But it doesn't really matter, does it? If you're really worried about it, just check the library page for the colour around the profile icon. Blue means online, green means in-game. Then you'll know if it bugged out or now.
