FES is the best way to experience P3. It has buttloads of extra content and if you have a PS3, it looks great on a HDTV.

Portable is only if you want to play as FemMC as the game is mostly a downgrade. I recommend portable only after you beat FES and want more.

It's half decent and expands on plot elements that are referenced in other games, also pretty decent characterization for the P3 cast.

P3P lets you control your party members but it makes the game really easy, and P3 wasn't exactly hard on it's own either.

Quick navigation is okay I guess, walking to other areas wasn't mind numbingly boring or anything since they were all small anyway. Walking about the city is actually pretty cool too and is a hell of a lot better than the VN interface.
