Because in a fist fight your clothing doesn't much matter unless you're wearing armor or padded shit which most human beings in fist fights are not wearing.

This game is primarily hand to hand combat with some solid blunt weapons (which, again, clothing doesn't do much about) and one girl with a gun, which nothing you wear will save you from anyway.

It is also a game where a character can be shot 30 times in the face and simply stand up, the clothing is the least of the problems.

So I bought CP the other day for Vita because I haven't touched my Vita in months
and I need to ask, what the fuck happened to the story mode?
The story layout is completely different than the earlier games and I haven't gone through a single fight despite being 25% of the way through it all.

IMO it's kinda fun on it's own way, but it really makes you need to investigate Japan shintoist lore and stories to get a better approaching.
So it's probably decent in Japan's eyes, but for occidentals it's usually seen as a clusterfuck, because the story assumes the player knows who were Amaterasu, Izanami, Susano'o, etc... and everything is happening it's about gods, I even think blazblue takes parts of some of these gods stories and put them together while reworking them.
I theorize that the last part of blaz blue story (in the next new game) could be guessed by now just by reading almost everything about the gods they already had been named.
But with some luck, Mori can go full crazy (and I think he will do) and surprise people, because there's the human factor in this story and it looks strong as fuck.

And according to Rachel it's possible for him to WIN. Just to illustrate how absurdly, stupidly powerful Hakumen potentially is:

That's not Tsubaki's grab. Also, OD is incredibly useful for certain characters like Valk, Carl, and Relius since it refills their doll/wolf meters. It's not as good for Plat, but infinite item uses and a refill to top it off can be very useful on offense.

The typical Hakumen Jump loop works like this:

Kishuu->Enma(launch)>j.2C (when opponent sprite flips 180 down)>5B>j.2A>jump cancel>j.2C when sprite flips>5A>j.2A>jump cancel>j.2C when sprite flips>5A>5B>j.B>jump cancel>j.2A>j.C

The important part is when you'll do j.2C. You can also do jump loops after a counterhit 3C. You can scoop em up with 2C then go straight to j.2A portion of the loop
