Previous thread >>255357559
What started as Nintendo theme park discussion turned into a campaign to get Nintendo's attention on this. We need as much help as we can get.
>It'll never work! Nintendo won't spend billions just because of an internet campaign!
The goal is simply to get their attention. Miyamoto has hinted at making it happen someday. This will be a full-blown campaign for Nintendo to see how much fans would like for this to happen. We're simply trying to spark some interest and see where things go.
>Artists, to think of some cool ideas for rides and draw them.
>People to spread the word on various websites/forums
We're going to have to plan an official date to get this going. We'll post messages and drawings on Miiverse, get Twitter trends going, and so on.
We'll start on Twitter a day or two before, to get it snowballing and hopefully have a good trend going by the time by start posting on Miiverse.
Concept for an OC that we need someone to draw.
Random ideas taken from the other thread:
>Life-size Peach's Castle.
>Zelda store with the Happy Mask Salesman selling Zelda merchandise
>F-Zero high speed rollercoaster that does crazy shit.
Nintendo doesn't have enough money for that shit. I'm sure they definitely want to but you're completely underestimating just how much fucking money it costs to make and entire goddamn theme park. We're talking billions and billions in upfront costs for a payoff years away, Nintendo can't handle that kind of load right now.
I'd really like a Metroid style laser shooting ride kinda like the MIB Alien Attack Ride.
>load up in a Samus ship cart
>everyone is given a blaster or arm cannon
>takes you through multiple areas across Samus's career
>Zebes, SR-388, Tallon IV, Aether/Dark Aether
>blast at statues of various enemies
>randomized face-off moments with notable villains (Ridley, SA-X, Kraid, Dark Samus)
>ends with a fight against mother brain (in the tank and her body from Super Metroid)
>before you get off the ride you get a score and a "See you next mission!" lit up sign
we're aware of that. What we need to do is first just get the idea to Nintendo. Spark some interest. From that, maybe they could consider it and think of some ideas on how it could work.
Also, it's not like it needs to be a full-blown billion dollar theme park right away. They could start small and make it bigger as it gets more popular.
>Kid Icarus restaurant where an actors/chefs dressed like Palutena, Pit, and Centurians makes your food right before you
he put up everything he had to build disneyland, which cost $20 million to build in the year between the summer of 54 and the summer of 55
on opening day (for the press) the event was a mess
water fountains had no working plumbing. the choice was between toilets and water fountains
in the early days they had trouble making payroll, resulting in last minute bank runs to get people paid
if disneyland did not succeed, it would have sunk walt disney studios
>Pikmin section makes you feel like you shrunk down to Olimar's size.
>you may never take your girlfriend to a cozy night in nintendo land during christmas
It may never exist but when it does we'll all be too old for it.
You know it to be true.
>Fire Emblem attraction
>Big castle filled with toy swords and spears
>Every so often they hold a tournament, very similar to Medieval Times
>Many pairs of dudes and chicks get their prop weapons and start going at each other with them
>They actually try their best
>All of the armor is prop gear made of hard plastic so as to not have it fall apart in one or two hits
>A few cosplayers are dressed as famous characters and they have a Gathering of Heroes Tournament every so often
>Tons of cheap FE merch outside, including party city-tier full-body armor suits
Oh god, actual Mario kart could happen, excluding the items, maybe just the most extravagant go kart arenas physically made.
Indoor Star Fox roller coaster that acts like a giant space battle similar to Brawl's Space Armada stage
Metroid Prime Hunters laser tag
Kirby themed cafe
An over glorified egg hunt based on Yoshis Island inside of a giant bouncy castle that is completely a maze.
We'll need to make several threads per day, at different times. I'll make some, but anyone else is free to make their own thread too.
In my future threads, I'll put more emphasis on the fact that we need artists. Feel free to do the same.
We need to get as many people as possible in on this. This needs to be huge.
Yeah but anon, when Pirates of the Caribean breaks down the pirates don't throw special goron crop in the tourist's mouths!
>Hopefully we'll get more activity during the day.
That's what I'm hoping for. Maybe tomorrow afternoon this could be booming with replies.
>We need one good piece of OC to get the Threads noticed
I agree with you there. Especially if it's the OP pic. That'll get a lot of attention.
to do the bare minimum theme park, it would cost between 900k to 1.5 billion. this is bare bones rides with light to moderate nintendo theming.
im thinking two good, well-themed rides, two six flags type major rides, one good themed restuarant, a handful of smaller rides (bowsers teacups and shit)
it would cost about 3-4 billion dollars to do something 100% within theme and with the latest technology
it's the difference between this (1.4 billion cost): http://www.yesterland.com/images-westcot/westcot2_dca2007ww.jpg
and this: (4 billion cost): http://www.japan-guide.com/g3/3016_sea_01.jpg
just to give you a rough idea
i doubt nintendo could fund the bare minimum, let alone a proper themepark
>We need to get as many people as possible in on this.
Do you think we'll have resort to pic related?
>On a monorail to the main entrance from the parking area
>It goes through a tunnel
>Mario's voice comes on through the loudspeaker
>"Welcome to Nintendo Land! Enjoy your stay! Wahoo!"
>This starts playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTnujailcZM
>Right at the end of the song you exit the tunnel and see the entirety of the park from above
>This starts playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GF3JYa0ql4&t=20s
In that case, this Friday probably isn't a good idea. We'll wait awhile for some art to accumulate.
Actually, instead of planning a date right away, we should just keep having these threads daily, and get tons of attention. Then in the near future, plan a date? Sound good to you guys? Until then, we can get this as big as possible.
>3DS Spotpasses that give you exclusive puzzles and miis
>You will never hoverhand Nintendo Princesses models in RL Nintendoland.
this is what is considered a themepark in japan
good luck nintendo. surely revenue from your failed console can help fund something of this quality
>implying it wouldn't be a Yoshi carousel with different colored Yoshis to ride on
Just make sure that to NOT SELL ANY VIDEOGAMES ON ANY STORE
also, yoshi eggs scattered around the park whit
scratch and sniff technology
Great, sounds good. Let's get this shit rolling.
No, not really. Your best chance is going to the gift shop in the Japanese section of Epcot (Mitsukoshi), since they stock miscellaneous video game and anime merchandise. Even then, you might not find anything Kingdom Hearts.
I did a simple search and found out this was a thing.
you can buy sea salt ice cream at disney land japan
why did the pokepark became kill?
Another pic so you know that this happened awhile back
Park could have a small Donkey Kong area with little snack huts with banana( and maybe coconut) themed snacks/drinks. Obviously a jungle appearance in the area. Main ride (or only) in the area could be a coaster based on the mine cart levels in caves .
Nintendo has already looked into and thought about it and its simply not happening. The best you could do is convince them to update NintendoLand with Wave Race and such expansions.
One in Japan, one in Florida.
>Lon Lon Ranch with horses and cucc...chickens
>Ingo working the stalls
>Adult Malon to drop spaghetti around
>Chateau Romani (yeah, wrong game, but fuck it) for the adults
Well at least all that stuff could come out of storage.
And for everyone saying it couldn't work, look at Legoland. Nintendo's properties are at least as well known and popular and something on a similar scale could easily work.
It took decades for Walt Disney World to have four massive parks, water parks, and a downtown entertainment district. No one expects that.
>for the adults
>no kids allowed
>Inside is actually a place based around nostalgia whit old games
>you can play the nes, snes and n64 even gc
they only serve milk
Maybe they could make a deal with Six Flags or something. Get a Nintendo section of Six Flags parks. Kind of like what they did with Looney Tunes.
Or maybe even with Disney. Nintendo and Disney seem to be pretty tight, considering they've been publishing Disney games since at least the N64 era.
Holy shit I am hyped.
>Since at least the N64 era
Nigga, they've been publishing Disney since the NES. Honestly, I'd think Capcom would be the easier one to get for Disney, considering they've been making Disney games for a while.
That's the point. That's where a lot of theme park fans go and there's definitely a crossover market built in already.
There's a reason the Game Nation folks launched in Ft. Myers. Also, property in Florida is relatively cheap.
I love this. But maybe in that case make it the Milk Bar, separate from the ranch, complete with a stage for a band to play Zelda music. Milk Bar theme plays over the PA otherwise.
I don't see Nintendo going for a no kids allowed area but like >>255391320 said, you can have separate drinks for kids and adults and play with the concept.
And speaking of music, maybe add Zora Hall for performances.
>robotic plants like that one plant at disney world that moves around the park but with this it would be a creepy crysanthmum
OP here, I have to go soon. I won't be able to make another thread on this until tomorrow at around 11-11:30 AM Central.
If someone wants to make a thread about it before that, feel free to. Just make sure to put some good details in the OP and get people's attention.
I thought they were in Redmond. Besides, it doesn't make sense to build a park there. It makes more sense in a place of high commerce like Orlando or Los Angeles. Theme parks partially survive on being in places people are going to be anyways. I can't think of a reason someone would go to Washington.
>Mario Galaxy themed roller coaster
>Nintendo themepark in Florida
>Yfw Mario Sunshine themed resort
My mistake, I don't know much about Disney games to be honest. I just remembered that Mickey Mouse racing game on the N64 was published by Nintendo.
It is Redmond. I just said Seattle because the cities are basically right next to each other, and Seattle is the more recognizable of the two
I'm thinking mixing franchises in similarly themed areas may be the way to go.
Like Peach's Castle and Hyrule Castle Town like castle. Have characters like Honey and Darling and the woman that can't scratch her back, etc. Maybe put the Astral Observatory from Majora's Mask in a space themed area.
It's not that well known yet and has only gotten coverage on a few gaming sites.
I have a friend in FL that wanted to go to "celebration" proof of concept thing, but wasn't able to and I told him that when the actual thing opens, I'm headed down. The idea is to have a real life MMO type thing going on in the park, and the guy said in an interview they're working on getting publishers to allow them to have licensed attractions. Give me a sec and I'll find it.
this thread is full of so many hopes and dreams...
there is still love and happiness int his world
also i truly do support that idea where the pikmin area would make it appears youve been shrunken down to pikmin size
imagine random events when this would happen in a random part of the park and you follow them to pikmin section to a "underground cavern" party https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yhd9i8mhpzU
GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS GUSY
HEAR ME OUT
HOTEL/VILLA BASED AROUND ANIMAL CROSSING
It's a good read for anyone interested in the concepts in this thread. It's based less around using game properties for traditional rides, but the concepts are interesting and could be used for Streetpass type things, special perks for park visitors, etc.
If all the publishers could play nice, this could be huge with the right support.
yeah nintendo could easily do this on a large scale it would be perfect
>Restaurant based around Kirby
>Pudding, doughnuts, orange juice galore
>Metroid themed enhanced reality game to shoot your friends
>Mario Kart go Karts
>Star Fox roller coaster
Minecart coaster could be like space mountain, not that crazy but really visually appealling. Kremlins and shit everywhere, almost collisions with other carts and what not, then the real shit could be the rhinocoaster, it would be more like the Hulk in that it would be a crazy fucking high speed ride.
>Animal Crossing area
>no rides or anything, just a place to rest up and chill a bit
>at the center they plant a tree that's been there since the day the park opened and let it grow as the park ages
>right next to that tree is a giant stand where you can buy hats based on either villagers or clothing items that appear in the series (like the male villager's bull horns cap and female's hat)
>New Leaf day to night music playing all over, changing whenever an hour passes
>there's a coffee shop based on Brewster's cafe in Wild World
>every Saturday night someone will go on the stage in the cafe and take requests for what KK songs to play live
>DJ KK comes out to the entrance of the park on special events (like for example if it's a popular series' 25th anniversary or something on that day he'll play a medley of that series)
>Disguise trash pickup as game for the kids
To go with this. A mountain region with Death Mountain, the Wind Fish egg, etc.
The egg itself could be an exclusive VIP thing for people that collect all 8 instrument pins or something.
autopia clone = mario kart
big thunder mountain clone = donkey kong mine cart
sleeping beauty/cinderlla castle = peach castle
mushroom kingdom = main street usa
donkey kong country = jungle cruise
metroid = space mountain with metroid projections/ridley attacks
submarine voyage = that underwater level from star fox 64
Guys. The idea's great. Real great. But face it. At the bare minimum, this idea's not going anywhere without reddit's help. You need them for media coverage at any rate. And of course they'll give it to you regardless.
Besides avoiding shitposting and console wars, we gotta keep the dream alive so we can all go to Nintendo World one day. Shit, my inner child freaked out over a store in Rockefeller Plaza. I can't imagine what it would be like to see this become reality.
this is the most retarded thing i have ever heard
>Nintendo makes a theme park in the US
>Gets blackmailed to pay "protection money" from Mickey Mouse
>Kids are running around asking for Dorito Mountain and Master Chief's Spooky House Ride
>Rosalina actors are getting raped in broad daylight by Nintendrones
>Link actors getting torn apart by smelly fat bishie fangirls
>Nintendo fails to pay protection money
>Donald Duck suicide bombs the Nintendo Train Parade
>Miyamoto commits sudoku in the Pikmin Maze with The Master Sword
>submarine voyage = that underwater level from star fox 64
>golden statue of miyamoto and all the past successors of nintendo in the center holding there creations hands
i can see that
or what if
AIR MACHINES BUMPA CARS
The warp pipe I'm 1-1 would be a slide to the bonus room where you collect coins and climb up the other pipe (a ladder/elevator). There are two player on at a time competing for the most coins/points. Who ever has more wins a prize.
>Cooking Mama Restaurant
>Tom Nook gift shop
>Giant NES building with an arcade with classic NES cabinets like DK1 and some new games locked into multiplayer like custom robo or smash
>If Pikmin don't their own attraction of any sort hide lots of them all around the park in grass, on trees, ect
Jesus Christ, stop. Daily reminder that Miyamoto will die in my lifetime...
>Pikmin are all around the park, basically hidden Mickey's
Hidden Details like pic related on the back of a sign.
This is why I come to /v/. These ideas, the brainstorming, the true partnership.
I want to help, how can I help? I can draw somewhat decently, better at building shit in 3D programs (i went full autist when minecraft released and know sketchup really well)
The Nintendoland theme already reminds me of something "Main Street USA" esque.
Otherwise, I think either Galaxy Hub soundtracks work.
>Yoshi's Island Waterboats.
>A decent-sized lake/pond decorated in Yoshi stuff.
>Flowers with faces, blueish mounts and lots of big fruit all around.
>An island in the middle with either statue or animatronic Yoshis (I'd recommed the former cause being near water and all.).
>Possible some other islands with other statues and characters.
>You ride on Yoshi-shaped paddle-boats of different colros as you paddle around the islands while chill Yoshi music plays.
Not all can be show-stoppers. soemtiems an attraction to chill is always nice.
>Potion shop with Koume and Kotake selling candy
>Occasionally the guy who plays Ganon will be at the front desk to fill in for them, but in disguise and vehemently denying that he is, in fact, Ganon
That will never happen, but it'd be cute.
Why are you dumb faggots talking about rides? What about the fucking games? Imagine playing Starfox inside a fucking Arwing that moves like those Initial D cars. Pokemon battles a la Yu Gi Oh holograms.
Okay, a big themepark needs to have at least some resorts. What do you got?
Oh man, the water park possibilities.
Needs an area themed after the Minus World. Maybe have floats shaped like those water bugs from Wet Dry Land. Throw in a cheeky Water Temple themed section too for good measure.
Stock Pot Inn, with a qt Anju actress. An Anju's mother actress can tell stories about Nintendo lore to people, etc. They can have a dejected Goron animatronic sitting outside complaining about someone taking his room.
Might work better as an attraction in one of the town themed areas though.
Wind Waker water ride
F Zero loopty loop fast upside down roller coaster
DK Mine Cart Ride
Metroid Horror Ride
Skyward Sword Bird Thing ride
Warpstar Ride (For kids)
Star Fox ride up in the fucking air
Metroid Laser Tag
>Having fun at the Nintendo Water Park
>Oh sweet they have a Water Temple, let's check this out
>Guy at the front stops you and asks if you have the Iron Boots
>I'm sorry sir but this attraction is for guests who have the Iron Boots only
This is the most autistic fucking thing I've seen on /v/. They will never make a damn theme park just because some virgins started tweeting them.
Even if they did, it would be aimed at kids. There would be no Ocarina of Time, Mario Sunshine resort, or anything you nostalgia fags care about. Everything would be based around New Super Mario Bros. series. And since this board is 18+ I really hope none of you mouth breathing idiots would ever go there without your kids. Jesus.
I can just imagine some fat 25 year old neckbeard in line for a Mario Kart ride aimed at 14 year olds by himself.
I'd pity any woman who has to work as a face character in Nintendoland. There would be so many greasy, delusional neckbeards to deal with. It'd be even worse than what the princesses have to deal with at Disney.
I was the one that mentioned different environmental themes earlier. You can have Gorons in the Death Mountain/Tamaranch Mountain hybrid area. Darunia getting down is too good to resist.
I think wind wanker would work better for that
>calmly sailing on a red lion king paddle/boat
>you can go fishing and find secret treasure and chests
>at night or ot at midday an event in which Terra pirates fight enemy ships
Let the big babies have their fantasy. It's soon bedtime for them anyway(Amerizone) so the rest of us can discuss actual games instead of Nintendo Religion's Heaven, Rosalina and Pic of the Day.
Maybe we can get some actual discussion going.
>Implying a water ride in which you ride the King of Red Lions with a cannon aiming at targets to earn point isn't a better Wind Waker ride.
I chosoe yoshi cause that's how the games tend to be: much chill.
>Nintendo has a bunch of sports games
>Yfw they can literally just put in golf, tennis, and a whole other bunch of things and claim it to be Nintendo
They should include downloadable demos of games in their respective rides.
>imagine downloading F-Zero 3DZ while waiting to ride the Big Blue
To be honest Nintendo would have to get bought out by Disney for this to happen. I'd be fine with it, as long as they left the games alone.
I don't think I'd mind a Mario x Mickey title as long as it was well made.
if you're so bothered to make a post about it you're probably just as much of an autistic faggot.
Besides, it's obvious this'd never happen but I for one like silly pojects with no other use but to make /v/ not rage for once.
GUYS GUYS GUYS
I KNOW YOU HEARD ME ONCE BUT HEAR ME OUT SERIUSLY
F-ZERO RACING GAME LIKE IN PIC RELATED
SPECIAL EPISODE OF GAMECENTERCX IN WHICH ARINO GOES ON ALL OF THE RIDES
I'd think they'd do a Star Wars: Star Tours thing for a hypothetical StarFox ride. Something like Fox and his team escorting the ride patrons through hostile territory. I think a Mario Galaxy themed roller coaster would be better served for an indoor, Space Mountain type ride.
>taking /v/ this seriously
>"muh mature game discussions for mature gamers like myself"
Holy shit, please continue, this is great
Fuck me I want this SO FUCKING BAD
WHAT FUCKING FOOD WOULD THEY HAVE AT THE KIRBY CAFE
everybody buys a copy of the wonderful 101 hahahahaa
please buy my game
You guys with the two park idea:
One park in Japan sounds ideal, but you guys have it all wrong about the U.S. park.
>U.S. park is tropical themed
>Best fit, therefore, is Puerto Rico
>Mario Sunshine Section, Delphino Plaza and Hotel Delphino
>Wii Sports Resort section with actual sports and recreation
>Donkey Kong Jungle section
>Wind Waker Section
>Daisy Cruise with excursions to other parts of the island (San Juan, Ponce)
It's like you fags can't into travel destinations. They don't call it the Isla del Encanto for nothing.
What if for buying a ticket you could get one free Wii U/3DS game and get to test out some non released games like Smash 4 and get to watch live tournaments or even participate in them!
Game testing and tourneys deluxe ticket only also a shop to buy a Wii U and 3DS
Sadly this would only be successful in Japan, anywhere else without a partnership with a company like Disney the project would fall apart, but considering it Japan only also makes a Nintendo theme park extremely viable, which is nice.
>Putting a fucking park in Puerto Rico
Not all of us can fucking hop on a plane to a goddamn island
Disneyland is accessible to anyone with a car and a green card, just a BIT easier to reach.
That's fucking stupid.
Literally read what you just posted. People don't get to screen movies in Disneyland, there aren't free lego sets given in Legoland, you don't get a fucking animal from Busch Gardens.
>building a theme park in typhoon/earthquake country
this could go well
start out as a small group and be handed a numbered amount of masks on you. Have the group run around the park recruiting more people who'd like to participate by handing them a mask. Finish off by having a 100 people fight something.
>ideal location for attracting visitors from cruise liners
>ideal location for U.S. spring/summer breakers
>still u.s. clay
>beautiful as all fuck
If a person is taking this sort of vacation, they have the money and are likely flying in or taking a cruise.
Games like Smash 4, but a few months closer to release, not Like Zelda U that comes out next year. Also Smash tourneys can make the game seem more competitive, and raise attention for it, that'd be great.
>you will be old and almost dead by the time Nintendo even considers this...
Why would you want to make it in an area inaccessible to so many people? It's not a fucking luxury land, it's a theme park. No one wants to fucking go to Puerto Rico, a place known for it's beauty, to stay in a park where you can't experience said beauty.
Dump it in California or Ohio.
Reposting these from the other thread. It's dead but I still am going through it in another tab.
Also, gift shop needs plush Fuzzys of the "touch them and get dizzy" variety.
That is just supposed to be an extra feature that only opens after all the rides close, (ahem) it'll be optional. The point of a theme park is the rides, but this could be extra, maybe a 20 minute demo or 4+ matches?
>Kickstarter that uses copyrighted characters that's the only reason this park is being considered
>Legend of Zelda Darkride
>Begin with the origins of the Triforce
>Go through some areas with enemies attacking you
>Animatronics of Link and Ganon fighting
>Ends with you seeing the triforce
FUCKING MAKE IT HAPPEN NINTENDO
>Full of historic and beautiful venues like San Juan and Ponce
>Home to El Yunque
>Home to the Arecibo Radio Telescope Observatory
>Home of Roberto Clemente
>Home of the best rum
>Some of the best beaches in the U.S.
>Port of call for several cruise line routes
>embark port for many more
>gay and degenerate
Nah brah, you're just an immense faggot.
If this ever actually happened (probabaly won't), there are 2 things that would happen for sure:
>It won't happen in the near future. Maybe in 20 years. Maybe.
>Metroid, F-Zero and Star Fox wont get any attractions or rides.
>Yfw this actually works and /v/ can say that they've helped make a themepark
I'm seeiong so many stuff based on really relly small places in Nintendo games. I think it'd be better on thinking in some that cover a bigger range in a franchsie (kinda how the actual Nintendoland does) rather than just "This particular piece of this particular place of this particular game."
Now here's a challenge for you:
>How would you approach an Animal Crossing attraction?
You're a dumbass if you think anyone would ever consider putting a themepark in Puerto Rico before any other place in the world.
There's no way in hell an actual Nintendoland wouldn't be in Japan.
Move to the actual US, buddy.
for a Nintendoland to happen either two things have to happen.
- someone else funds it
- Nintendo hits home runs with their next console, their QoL platform, Amiibos and increase their cash reserves by 10-15 billion. Even if this happened, Nintendo would probably spend that money buying back stock so they wouldn't have to listen to stockholders rather than make a theme park.
Mario Kart simulator
12 people, each person gets their own little kart that has hydraulics and their own screen in front (akin to the Simpsons/Back to the Future ride at Universal Studious).
>Brewster's café at the Restaurant areas.
>Townfolk animals meet n' greeters moving around. (For the ease of the workers. I iamgine soem Brewster outfits it enough for them. Imagine having to serve coffee in fucking animal costumes.)
>Saturdays at night you can enjoy animatronic K.K playing his songs.
Have people take a bus siumlator with the driver singing, they would arrive in an indoor area where people can interact with their surroundings, have different characters walk around and say quirky things, have a self contained restuarant/cafe, be able to walk to downtown for some entertainment areas and gift shops, they could also have a crap ton of stuff for kids like a fossil pit and a small museum with bugs, fish, paintings and, dinosaurs
make that shit educationalwould sum it up for me
>We would need o buy half of China to place it
I think instead of having areas for major franchises, the best option is to have themed areas and mix the franchises together.
That way you get around the problem of having small niche areas for various franchises that wouldn't work on their own.
>Mario Kart Go Carts
>race go carts around a track walled in with perspex screens
>everyone has paintball guns or a stash of water balloons to throw at each other as they go around
That seems more close to the Disney park, but it IS the best idea in my opinion.
>different areas with different game-related attractions.
>Just a couple of zones centred about some of the big dogs (A Pokemon Zone and Mario zone at least.)
>People posting dumb ass ideas for mario kart stuff
>Not just posting this
Seriously, just fix the item getting mechanic so that you just drive over a panel and it gets deactivated for a few seconds and you're fucking golden.
Copy pasted from the other thread.
The equivalent of Mickey's Toontown, with a bunch of Mushroom huts scattered around. A full-scale version of N64 Peach's Castle is in the center of the park, with an orchestrated version of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpOP0L3A7_Q [Embed] playing inside. Other attractions include a Bowser's Castle interactive coaster ride and Luigi's Mansion. Mario Karts are located nearby.
A DKC inspired area with palm trees and Huts and banana stands. Nearby is a separate Yoshi's Island (Includes Kirby stuff) that's designed for toddlers.
Designed to be more focused around the fantasy-style games in Nintendo's lineup, focuses on rides inspired by LoZ, Kid Icarus, and Fire Emblem. Live Shows are performed on the hour, each hour re-enacting a different Zelda game.
The Sci-fi zone of the park, focuses on F-Zero, Starfox, and Metroid. Has the most Roller Coasters and interactive rides
The Pokemon side of things. Includes areas where people can bring their 3DSs and perform VR Pokemon battles like fights in Yugioh. Pokemon Snap safari included
The retro area of the park, with rides based on all of nintendo's other franchises like Punch Out, Ice Climbers, and Game and Watch. Includes a large arcade with tons of Nintendo games, including brand new F-Zero AX arcade cabinets.
Now I'm not sure about including Yoshi's Island in DKC or Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem in Hyrule, but for the non A list franchises I think it may be the way to go.
Sounds awesome to me.
And I'd switch Mute City to Corneria. And maybe do Donkey Kong Island and Yoshi's Island as adjacent "island" themed areas. Refer to them as "The Islands" or something.
If the person who originally posted that is in this thread, your ideas are awesome.
>mfw I was OP of last thread
I didn't think it would go this far
Face raiders event where someone is wearing a mask of your face and you have to chase them down and take a picture of them in order to recieve a prize only if you find them before the allotted time runs out.
Why has nobody mentioned anything of the following yet
>Rainbow Road Rollercoaster
>Port Town Rollercoaster
>Animal Crossing boatride ala Its a Small World
>Donkey Kong Minecart coaster
>Donkey Kong log flume
>Metroid shooting gallery ride
>Starfox motion simulator attraction
>Pokemon Battle show
>Luigi's haunted mansion
Pokemon DID have it's own theme park.
Speaking of which, they could just reuse most of that shit for the pokemon section and make some shit for the newer gens.
Sure, buddy. You would go once, and hate it.
>this park is too hot
>there's too many people here
>they're not real Nintendo fans like me
>this line is to long
>that character is all wrong
>i want to go home
Fuck me is this thread funny. I am loling
>Artists, to think of some cool ideas for rides and draw them.
Are you 8 years old? Hahahahaha
This could be a fun thread but thinking it's actually going to happen is RIDICULOUS
Since everyne is going after Rides and Attractions, I'm gonna tackle some Restaurants and chill spots:
-Kirby's Dreamland Gourmet:
>Bakery and desert joint.
>Cute and bright colors expected from a Kirby-themed establishment.
>Tons of Kirby-themed deserts but also some from other Nintendof ranchises.
>One triple-flavored ice cream dish has to be named "Kirby's Triple Deluxe".
>Brewster's Café from Animal Crossing.
>Coffee and Pastries restaurant.
>Animal Crossing villager and Townfolk costume people roaming around.
>You can listen to K.K play on Saturday nights.
>Themed after Fire Emblem.
>Big and fancy restaurant with diferent dishes.
>Shaped like a colosseum.
>You have either opera singing or swordfights happening at the center as you eat.
-Yoshi Fruity Drinks
>Located at many places of the park.
>Smaller stands which serve tropical fruit smoothies/punchs
>Space themed restaurant. Possibly shaped like the Great Fox on the outside.
>One of the bigger restaurants alongside The Colosseum.
>The roof is actually a special video screen.
>At certain point the customers are greeted to a light show followed by a space battle watchable from the roof screens.
This is all for raising awareness after all backlash and 15,000 people petition got Twilight Princess to happen, and Hoeen. Trust me Nintendo hears their fans, we have to make it known
If this place can be a theme park, I don't see why Nintendo couldn't have one, just market it as Nintendo Land, show a bunch of Pokemon stuff and people will eat that shit up
Just ignore the "We need" and shit. It's just a harmless game to play and ebats havign to be raging over videogames for once.
Obviously a bunch of nerds from 4chan wouldn't make this possible. But it's just a thread to make some anonas have some imagiantion and kid around.
And tons of other things, besides if a few people at Nintendo here it, it might spread. I remember reading how one guy suggested the GC adapter and it actually happened. Might be a hoax, but there is no doubt a petition won't at least get someone at Nintendo to hear our cries!
Damn son. Your autism is showing.
I think Nintendo might raise an eyebrow or two, maybe consider it sometime down the line if they believe it's a profitable business venture.
>Implying Hoenn remakes weren't going to happen.
>"hear our cries!"
>That fucking Pooh ride
I live in Florida and go to Disney World at least once every year, and holy fuck, that Pooh ride is always fucking crowded, like Jesus fucking Christ. This and the Peter Pan ride get so many people and they aren't even that great, I just don't get it
The following are small shops scattered around near the hotel area, outside the parks or near the entrance of the parks
1)How about a Princess boutique shop?
You can buy princess dresses and couture, along with princess Peach's Dress, Rosalina and Peach's attire, along with other princess stuff.
2) Cosplay Shop
official nintendo cosplay. from Zero Suit Samus to just mario's clothes.
3) Animal Crossing Clothing Shop
Design your own shirts! Print your own shirts! Get cool stuff like Codes of the own shirt you just made to be available for your animal Crossing game and even your Mii! Only available at NintendoLand.
Actual theme park mini-stuff:
-Paper Mario's Divination Tent
The wizard who tells Mario where to go will reveal your fortune, along with Tarot Card spread, among other things.
Paper Mario's Badge shop
Buy some cool ass badges, stickers, pins, among others of your favourite paper mario badges. This would most likely be in the Paper mushroom kingdom segment of NintendoLand, as a stand of some sort, or small shop.
Someone will be payed to dress as a Whacka, and a fluff hammer will be close to him. People can take pictures. if you bump the Whacka, you get a free treat, but only one available every two hours. See if you catch Whacka!
Who really knows? I never expected it, but with Hoeen confirmed everywhere I would suppose the fans let the company to the remake.
>I think Nintendo might raise an eyebrow or two...
That's really all we're aiming for, to show them it's profitable
Space Pirates vs hunters
You choose which side to join and join the respective line, halving the lines and wait-time
Space pirates get cool shit Beams and melee
Hunters get different weaponry.
allows replay ability for people to re-join the line.
Try to have more than one Field to make the line faster, and preferably have them differ for more replayability
this all sound Grade A material for walking-by shops.
F-Zero Kart Racing
Made so the Karts are bump-friendly,
it would be more like
>gets a blue space marine chest plate whit 3 hits/lives
>gets a hand-cannon like Samus
>gets a purple crabian like chest plate whit 3 hits/lives
>gets a crab hand-cannon like the space pirates
Guys, I got some art, I did not make this, but someone on another site voluntarily made this for us!
Same anon here, continuing with ideas.
-The Milk Bar:
>Obviously themed after Zelda. More than just the Majora's Mask version.
>Waitress and waitresses dressed as Zelda characters.
>Different bands playing on stage.
>Based on the Animal Crossing New Leaf place.
>Probably centred more on the teen demographic.
>Pretty much a disco open at nightime.
>Possibly certain nights are Dr. Shrunk's Comedy nights with actual stand-up comedians entretaining.
-Possible Gift Shop themes:
>Happy Mask Shop (Zelda merch)
>Pokemon Center (Pokemon merch)
>Toadworth's Shop (Mario merch)
-Possible clothing shops:
>Peach's Princess Boutique (For girls)
>Nook's Emporium (I know it should be the mable sisters but I'm making it more broad.)
I'm kind of running out of non-ride ideas, so here are some attractions I could think of:
-Captain Toad's Cave Explorers:
>Kinda like >>255406835 but themed around Captain Toad's misadventures.
-The Town of Animal Crossing:
>Kinda like Disney's Toontown with a recreation of an Animal Crossing town incluying Nook's shop, the Town hall, the Mabel sisters, the Police, etc.
>Townfolk animals Meet n' Greeters around and you can take a picture with the ones you like.
>The Roost can be located in it.
-Animal Crossing's Kids Land:
>A section of the Town of Animal Crossing area.
>Set for little chidlren.
>A small town playground with slides and jungle gyms and stuff.
>Attendants greet the children and make them play games involving finding fossils and catching bugs around the playground toget goodies like stickers and candy.
GUYS GUYS GUYS
HEAR ME OUT
THREE TIMES THE CHARM THEY SAY
JUST LISTEN TO THIS
1 BIG ASS ROLLER COASTER THAT PASSES TROUGH MOST OF THE IDEAS IN THIS THREAD
>IT GOES AROUND THE ENTIRE PARK OR SOME SHIT
THE SEATS ARE DESIGNED LIKE PIC RELATED
A big train that crosses the whole park'd be asplendid idea. kidna like the train that crosses around the Nintendoland game hub.
I wrote in a journal of ideas when I was in 5th grade. Even thought I'd email it to Nintendo. The ones that stick out are
-Recreation of Pinna Park
-Pirateship Wind Waker ride
-Lon Lon Ranch petting zoo
-Bowser's Castle done in the style of Peter Pan/Snow White/etc.
-Majora's Mask tower of terror style ride in the clock tower. Go up, see moon, shoot down
OKEY WHAT IF
A SHOP IN WHICH
have you seen the bear shops in which you make your own teddy bear and feel it whit cotton and shit
SOMETHING LIKE THAT BUT WHIT KIRBY
AND ALL THE COPY ABILITIES
ALSO COPY ABILITIES HATS
It reminds me of the people with no development skills trying to make rom hacks on /vp/.
In a few days nobody will probably mention this again
>We'll need to make several threads per day, at different times. I'll make some, but anyone else is free to make their own thread too.
>Majora's Mask tower of terror style ride in the clock tower. Go up, see moon, shoot down
Funny enough I had the idea in mind but with a Bowser theme.
>Bowser's Terror Tower
>Shaped as a big Mario world-esque tower, with the actual seats having a bowser theme (Koopa shells; Bowser arms as handles, the wroks)
>You hear ominous Castle music as you raise up through speakers on the seats.
>It reaches the top with the music still playing, staying still.
>Suddenly the music stops abruptly. You heard Bowser's laugh through the speakers.
>It drops down.
>there are people here who want shitty amusement parks more than actual games
>there are people who want both
Shocking, isn't it
>Metroid ride will literally be a 4d simulation
You know, why haven't they made a Metroid horror spin-off that plays on the rails like time crisis? I think that would be ace.
ANYWAY MY RIDE IDEAS:
>mario kart go karts with the course designed after one of the mario circuits including scenery.
>f-zero ride should either be like rita queen of speed or kingda ka because FAST IS GOOD
>pokemon ride like the "flight of charizard" or the "evolution of pokemon" - your typical fast ride with multiple loops and inversions
>A lost woods maze
>luigi's mansion ghost train and haunted house
>donkey kong minecart ride
including retarded jumps
>wind waker log flume in king of red lion
smash bros dodgems and tea cups
The only place i would like to see from Mario Kart is this map
Warioware towers. Up to 4 players, beating each minigame takes you higher and then
Drops you out of your seat where you free fall 1000 feet underground and land in a 2 mile wide ball pit
>Life-size Peach's Castle.
Wow so different from the castle in every Disneyland.
>Zelda store with the Happy Mask Salesman selling Zelda merchandise
So different from shops in Disneyland, they don't have masks. Original idea, do not steal
>F-Zero high speed rollercoaster that does crazy shit.
So different from Space Mountain.
Wow so different from that Buzz Blaster thing at Disneyland.
Wow so different from the Horror thing at Disney.
Do you faggots really want an exact copy of Disneyland, except with the different mascots? What are you too old and cool to go to Disneyland?
GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS GUYS
NOW WHAT IF
ONE FACTION WHIT SQUID HEADS TRIES TO FILL THE PLACE WHIT PAINT AND THE OTHER FACTION TRIES TO CLEAN WHIT FLUDDS
Or instead of handing out $40.00+ games willy nilly they could actually make the tickets have a redeemable code for club Nintendo or something like that.
just a small amount of points, though
>And posted on my twitter and what not
I knew this thread reeked of reddit.
Streetpass systems with exclusive content.
But one of the relays is a Bowser trap which automatically copies all the data on your SD card to the system and then deletes it off you 3DS. In order to regain it you have to locate Bowsers Fire-Sumo henchman (Who's a paid employee/actor who works at the park) and beat him up.
Better yet, let's make it so when you succesfully beat him up, it returns everyones data in the park. That way we could get away with making him tougher to beat. It'd be a little bit like an MMO
DisneyParks is a fucking superpower, it generates so much revenue that it's the reason why we don't have state taxes in Florida.
You act as if it's easy to be as successful as Disney.
>You get a hand cannon laser gun
>Laser fight other people, you have energy tanks that run out with each hit
>Holding the button in the arm cannon charges it for more damage
>Last player standing
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9toMoL8fW-4 Starts playing
>A ridly automaton comes out and the last player has to shoot it as it glides about
>Theirs a high score board at the end.
Kind of like a mix of the men in black ride from universal and laser tag.
>opera singing in the Colosseum
Jesus fuck, that job would be fantastic. What operas were you thinking about? It seems like Il Pagliacci wouldn't work there, but what operas would?
I think this could work. At first, in order to get more customers I think they should start releasing their games exclusively at their parks, that way they'd immediately ensure their loyal fans would become attendees and the exclusiveness might let create more demand for their games. It's a win-win.
Mind if I build on this?
>Medium-sized establishment for lunch-time fare
>British university themed, meals served with tea and pastry
>Puzzles. Puzzles everywhere.
>The waiters have puzzles, the menus have puzzles, the table has a puzzle
>Puppies are brought from local shelters to interact with visitors.
>Small "Dog-park" enclosure
Brain Age Quiz Show
>Game Show attraction, random people are chosen from the audience to compete
>Brain Age themed challeges with a mix-in of Nintendo trivia
>Daily, winner gets a free meal at a restaurant
Freaking real life smash bros.
>Attendees can put on those Mario and Luigi walkabout costumes you see at events like E3, as well as several other nintendo mascots and battle with each other in front of a small campitheatre
more like puzzles for kids on the thing they put so you don't mess the table
also, while we are on Level-5 stuff
Youkais around the park, If you buy a Youkai Watch and scan them they give you a youkai medal that you can use on those new machines that scan your toys/cards and give stats to your monsters/character
To drive forth the element of "interactivity" that is present in vidya games. I think most rides shoul have a degree of interaction.
How about, taking inspiration from Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, a motion simulator where you can build the track you ride on beforehand (Either on Computers or a downloadable 3DS app.)
You can even make it so the ride crashes at the end and Nintendo Land employees jump up and start beating you with boxing gloves to simulate the tumbling effect.
