I'm glad I was able to play Earthbound and Mother 3 during my NEET period a couple years ago. Now that I work two jobs (both EMS where I spend a majority of the overnight shifts sleeping) I rarely have time now.

I'm currently using Mato's thingies to translate Mother 3 into my native language (as a personal project, of course) and so far I'm having fun.

I have only to translate menu text before I tackle the main script and start having nightmares.

It had its moments. It's just the overall atmosphere was quite different. I liked the island segment with the mushrooms a lot, and ascent up the 100 floors of the Empire Pork Building. I think that was my favorite part of the game.

Next year marks ten years since I got into Mother via Earthbound. It's a lovely series and at the time I was instantly hooked on its atmosphere. Replaying it on the Virtual Console and it still holds up with the characters, music and setting.

Can't wait to celebrate it properly.

Little mac isn't a retro character and neither is megaman, little mac it's based on it's reboot, so is the his stage and songs. Megaman it's third party and has a classic stage just like sonic in brawl with green hill zone
Lucas is a lot different than ness in brawl, his A moves and smash moves are different, only his B moves are smiliar but work different
And lucina is a little different from marth, because she has more focus on the blade of the sword,and most of her animations are the same, even the idle one. Not to mention she has the same fucking specials
