That's most of the reason it got attention in the first place. It simply tried to be better than other shows for 6-year-old girls, and succeeded. It's not really all that great, but if you're a parent it has enough effort that you wouldn't mind if it was on while you were with your kid. References to things kids normally wouldn't get, slapstick, shit like that.

This, however, brought actual adults and teenagers to look into it, and some latched onto it and never let go. What could've been a step forward in terms of quality for cartoons for young children has become a cancer of massive proportions in what is as of today 3 years and 9 months.

I'd say it was a damn shame, but it's not like it was something really good that became shit like The Simpsons or something like that.
