The point was that the "wider audience" killed my favourite vidya genres, the video game industry is becoming more industrialized every day. The only games that can fill the gap are Grand Strategy games, and they are soon going the age of the dinosaurs since the "wider audience" has the attention span of a peanut and can't be bothered to think in today's video games, and no developer wants to make a game today that doesn't sell at least 1 million copies or is F2P which is a horrendous business model
