First chain of business; I still haven't beaten the game. I just can't get behind playing as an animal. The characters aren't bad, it's just playing as an animal is fucking weird.
Second, here's some reading for you guys.
>mediocre game that sold solely on furry fanservice
What is the difference between this and something like criminal girls?
>every thread has 0 discussion of the game and is just a hardcore furry porn dump
When you learn how to discuss your game, you can have a thread.
>The characters aren't bad, it's just playing as an animal is fucking weird.
That's the stupidest thing I've ever fucking heard. What does it even matter what your player character is?
oh gosh really?
don't know anything about the game but they all look fully clothed in op's pic so i just assumed it probably wasn't
maybe the ones with the tits should have given it away..
The bath scene is about the only lewd moment in the game. It's pretty tame.
Did the mods delete it? No? Then there wasn't furfaggotry. Furfaggotry is that shit like Morenatsu and Krystal spam. This is a legit game.
>if the mods didn't delete it then there was no furfaggotry
Nigga you high or something? I've seen 700 post "dragon vidya" threads that inside were just nothing but porn and yiff discussion.
There won't be a sequel for a long time will there? Unless the mobile game does that well.
Gameplay was piss easy but I liked the world building and all. How well did this do in japan
I mean I doubt they would actually show tits or something but it's japan so who knows.
I think it did okay. Just like the first game, it didn't sell very many units.
We won't get another game in a very, very long time, if at all.
>We won't get another game in a very, very long time, if at all.
Well that sucks. They just seem happy as hell to even be able to do it.
You can tell that the game has so much god damn love put into it. It's just a title that the developers really wanted to make, money be damned.
It was seriously one of the few games I regret not buying at launch, and I was seriously depressed by the end of the game. It was just so.. Good. I was always interested in it but I sorta forgot about it for a while. Picked up a used copy a few months back and holy hell. I have never felt these feels about a game since my childhood.
I'm slowly learning moon, I want to talk to the devs and give them a heartfelt thanks. I want to buy the artbooks, I want to see this series continue. It's one of the last few genuine games I've played in YEARS.
omg 40k for the emprah purge this heresy amirite guize?
Tail Concerto and Solatorobo were very "comfy" games for me. The aesthetics reminded me of Mega Man Legends and I loved the art style and architecture.
There's a decent amount of variety and there are no other games quite like them. I don't see them having mass appeal but that's not what they were trying to do.
As for them being furry. I don't really see anything offensive in them. The games are for kids so there isn't anything particularly racy in them unless you think stepping out of the shower with a towel wrapped around you is lewd.
I know right? All that art and world building stuck in one measly ds game. I want another game too.
Yeah I really enjoyed my time playing this, laying out under a tree in my yard that summer. Definitely real comfy times. I wasnt too bothered by the difficulty, I'm playing hard games all day. Gotta take a breather once in a while you know?
Last time I've checked (Long ago) they were doing something with going into space...
I wonder what it might be
It's a labour of love, really. It's not really a game that would appeal to big audience
They ran campaign on twitter and asked people for kemono fanart like 2-3 weeks ago. Also a mysterious poll about what kind of kemono people enjoyed.
Solatorobo is the most visually impressive DS game. Shame it came out when the system was slowly dying.
And the game had some 'sexy' undertones... I wouldn't really call this game totally for kids.
Tail Concerto artbook due next year for anyone that missed the news
As well as The Kemono Book 3 and Solatorobon 3 next month
The difficulty wasn't really that great except 2 boss fights - Opera with her two
loversand the one from the downloadable missions.
I wanted to submit something but I've missed the deadline because I've literally found out about it 3 days before the deadline.
Isn't it a little too early to have another one of these? I feel like we went over everything we could for this game in the last couple threads. This is the third thread I've seen within the last like 4 days. Not that I don't like Solatorobo.
>I don't like this video game so I'll call those who do furfags because of the game's artwork without even knowing what the game is like
We should probably all bug the shit out of XSeed about it. Maybe Atlus and NIS America too.
CC2 claimed a sequel was in the works and that was 2 years ago.
CC2's last project that appeared to be in this series was called "Strelka Stories", but the project page for it stopped working and now redirects to the main site. I fear for the future.
Haven't drawn anything actually. The deadline struck me so suddenly, I didn't even have time to think of something appropriate.
Passed the info to few of my buds but they had an art block so the opportunity passed.
Gren has a crush on Opera but that's pretty much it
I mean that's what I've gotten from that one unlockable image with Gren and Calua being in a rather awkward situation with Opera. In all honesty I could get around Opera keeping them as her lovers. Whether this is just CC2 fanservice or actually canon stuff, I have no idea.
Oh... that's why I couldn't find it anymore. Dammit. Early Space exploration kemono stuff would've been amazing
That scene is in the American version though. Is there something censored about it? Admittedly I don't remember him pulling off the towel, although it was done in such a way where it could be assumed. He still walked in and he still got slapped.
Who knows, they might still be working on it.
I hope they are.
>Been playing a lot of old JRPGs
>Feel like learning how to make games just to make one myself with some help.
>Kemonos will be party members alongside humans and other species.
>Can't draw worth shit though so my idea might not ever be realized.
I don't even know where to begin to be honest
I thought the most lewd thing in the game was the picture of Elh and Chocolat in the race suits.
The downloadable missions come with the American version of the game pre installed.
>We won't get another game in a very, very long time, if at all.
But anon, we already did.
But it's on mobile.
So yeah, instead of dead, LTB is in a vegetative state. Perhaps death would be a more merciful fate.
It's never too late to start working on your art, anon
Do it for her
I hope so too.
Yeah, I kind of thought it was kind of a fan service too. I did like the calm and collected Gren and the carefree Calua dynamic though. Common anime stuff or not, their shenanigans were nice.
I've dropped my identity in the last thread at the end.
Oh yeah. They unlocked missions each week after release that further expanded the story. I suspect they were already included in the game, just you had to connect to Nintendo service to unlock them.
There was a very nice mission with Merville and Belgua there with their little romance.
I think CC2 keeps making artbooks to try and make more money so they can make another game. I think they're also trying to build popularity of the series any way they can. Bandai might throw them a bone if they get it to become more popular.
To be honest you may want to start with something smaller. RPG's are a lot of work and usually take years even with a decent sized competent team.
Also, JRPG's are even more niche now than they were in the "golden age." Back then it was one of the only ways to put a decent story in a game with the gameplay being secondary but these days they feel sluggish and random battles are a chore.
Ah, thats a relief. I guess I did see that content then.
The nintento wifi shutdown must have affected other games though, its a bummer.
You sure the missions arent in the west versions?
You didn't need to connect to the Nintendo service to access them. My internet is too shit to access that stuff and I still got to see the mission with Mervielle and Beluga. The missions come with the game.
Get a good sprite artist. I have few buddies that help me with that whenever I need sprites.Sprite stuff/3D stuff is very different from painting full pictures like I do.
Yuropoor version had them unlockable week by week. I remember NA version coming after the EU one so yeah, sounds about right.
Making RPGs is all about inventing a good battle system. I've tried making a few in my life and I can't do a dynamic and simplistic one to save my life.
Platformers are kind of exploited to hell and back. I actually put one
anthro2D sneaking game I've been working on for years now on the backburner because Gunpoint got released. Might pick it up in few montsh.
There's always hope.
4 AM is pretty late. Yet I'm still drawing.
>I think they're also trying to build popularity of the series any way they can. Bandai might throw them a bone if they get it to become more popular.
Let's face it, the series' commercial viability has only ever decreased. From Playstation to DS to mobile, it won't stop getting less budget from Bandai.
I wonder what were the budget amounts for each game. The way jap devs usually have lower budget needs, CC2 might get a successful console/PC release with crowdfunding.
>tfw mayoineko's doujins almost never get translated
I feel like Solatorobo was probably more expensive to make than Tail Concerto.
As for Little Tail Story, you probably have it right on that, although, according to Wikipedia it was partly made to make the audience for the games bigger.
>Matsuyama explained that he wanted the game to be a "casual" and "friendly" experience, and developed the title for smartphones to expand the series to a larger audience, both male and female
>developed the title for smartphones to expand the series to a larger audience
Yeah then not doing it again. This board really hates people that try to whore themselves out too much. I've learnt my lesson in 2008.
Seems to be the case. I dunno really if Bandai will give them any cash given how reluctant they are at throwing cash on stuff like localizing Digimon games.
Well I've seen one guy-made RPGs. The problem is QA and good system.
They are in the western version
I think there's a difference in EU and US version then. I had to log into Nintendo WiFi to get the missions unlocked
This has nothing to do with the current topic but I've meant to respond to you in the last few threads and I've been asleep every time you posted and I'd just like to say hello. You probably don't remember, but years and years and years ago in the original drawthreads from 2007-2008 before they turned to garbage you drew a lot of stupid Freya shit that I requested and I've always appreciated that. I just looked at your new stuff and you've really improved a lot since then! Can't believe the shit about Basketgardevoir shit, though, christ.
>I dunno really if Bandai will give them any cash given how reluctant they are at throwing cash on stuff like localizing Digimon games
And yet somehow, for some reason, they brought Project x Zone to the west.
The hardest part of making an RPG is to make the combat system different.
Given the amount of art, marketing etc.? Damn right.
My friend that is really into Shonen says the games are really good. I'll take his word for it. He's pretty good at that.
Thanks! I always strived for improvement. And I STILL have those images somewhere on my hard drives.
The basket shit is even deeper than you think. I'd rather not talk about it because there is a bit of people's personal lives involved in that.
I have no idea what they're doing then.
>Talking animals that walk upright and have boobs.
Why must i be so easily suckered into shit like this, i have no idea what the game even plays like and i'm going to emulate it when i get home.
Fuck my shit taste.
It isn't except for people that were REALLY into Seasons 1&3. Which pretty much eliminates 90% of the modern audience. I've gotten Digimon Dusk few years ago and I liked it but I think they needlessly complicated it. I would really want a game like Digimon World 1 or 3.
Self-publishing is harder than you think.
I really hope that's not the case
Yeah that. We're kind of running out on that. Lately I'm just thinking wouldn't just going into tactical RPGs be a wiser idea for a battle system. You can do so much more with it... but at the same time AI systems scare me.
You don't have shit taste anon.
Its a great game, trust us. One of the best in fact. Gameplay is a little weird (you pick stuff up and throw them) but its more fun than it sounds. It has all the good stuff you get from action RPGs without most of the bad stuff.
More like great taste.
Don't expect it to be very challenging as far as the gameplay goes. Prettymuch throwing simulator combat wise. It really is the art and world that carries it.
>release it physically
That's part of the problem.
Just a thought, but I would love to see something along the lines of Mother 3 in the battle system. Something like timed hits, combos, etc.
Of course those too. ill try gushing a little harder next time
Physical releases are the best anon. In my opinion. You get to keep a physical object with all the data forever and will be able to carry it and travel around with it wherever you go. It also means devs can't take the game away due to DRM restrictions.
I like physical releases, personally, though I'll admit digital has its advantages, and if you do things right to a large extent you can do what I just described. I want to own my games physically though, so I even buy PC games physically.
Plus I have shit internet
The game is pretty rich as fuck. The gameplay is easy. I keep coming back to it because I just like to engulf myself in that colourful world.
If you're talking about the Steel Set piece, yes that's me. And thanks, spent a fair time on it.
Yes and no. Japanese market is weird as fuck and I've tried to approach few people about it... they do their stuff in a weird manner. So self-publishing for a Japanese dev might be a nightmare.
Interesting read, thanks
Last night's thread got me wondering. Would it be possible to do a hi-res texture pack for the backgrounds? Assuming somebody's willing to scan their artbooks, anyway. They're all there. Getting stable DS emulation at hi-res is another issue entirely, but this would look breathtaking if it's possible.
Thank you anon. I was worried. Its deserving of all the love.
Fair enough. My beef is having the physical copy being the primary market, as it's a huge contributor to bloated game prices.
I think having digital copy being the main seller, with physical copies as limited editions, would work best for all involved.
are these older designs for Chocolat Gelato? They really changed her up
I take it you're not familiar with the usual publisher model.
Most of the time, the publisher both owns the rights to the franchise and controls the budget. The devs are twice over in their thrall. It's no wonder self-publishing and crowdfunding have increased so much on PC.
It took CC2 literally years of picthes and concept art to get Bandai to greenlight Solatorobo, and even then it was made for a handheld, since they have lower budgets.
Yes, the first LTB Archives volume has a bunch of proto sketches for the main cast (The full Chocolat page from that pictured here). The third volume goes to ridiculous levels of prototypes where they barely resemble the final game, too.
I really like Mother 3 system, letting you win the battles even though your health is going down. Timed hits, combos etc. are all icing on the delicious Mother cake.
Fucking Harpoon fishing was the best.
The physical medium has a charm to it. Quite frankly I've cut down on buying physical medium unless it can be activated on Steam, then I'll buy it in a heartbeat since it's cheaper than on Steam.
The biggest problem I have with physical medium nowadays is the lack of good manuals and box goodies that I've grown attached to during the 90s
I think it would be easier to just remake the game
Game price bloat comes from many sources. Physical copies are the least contributing factor, but I see your point.
Also the last thing you've mentioning - Brian Fargo is doing that with Wasteland 2. I think it's actually a very smart idea given he can make enough copies without them lying around unbought.
Physical distribution accounts for a large chunk of the cost.
I have some pics of the artbook.
That's cost only to the publisher, not to us. Games released digitally still cost the full $60 unless they go on sale.
If anything the prices will become worse once everything does go digital because then they'll have monopolized their own product. I'm not looking forward to the day that happens. Especially with how goddamn stingy Nintendo is with their digital pricing.
I get some Molly from Oban Star Racers vibe from this. It's a good vibe.
Interesting thing. Also Jesus Christ, platform royalty is $7? Insane. No wonder games on PC cost $10 less.
Please post. I
>That's cost only to the publisher, not to us.
That graph says the usual $60 tag. That's the cost to us alright.
>Games released digitally still cost the full $60 unless they go on sale.
That's becoming ever more the exeption rather than the norm. Cue the starting prices on Steam. Digital distribution is driving the consumer price down, it's just not intantly. There'll always be proverbial jews who try to gouge $60 for a digital release, unfortunately.
>If anything the prices will become worse once everything does go digital because then they'll have monopolized their own product. I'm not looking forward to the day that happens. Especially with how goddamn stingy Nintendo is with their digital pricing.
The sad thing is, for consoles, digital-only indeed wouldn't do much because even their digital markets are monopolies already. It's not like you can buy from a different digital store if you don't liek XBLA's prices, for example. The PC has plenty of competing stores.
They are in order, though. That's how they were released. Red The Third of Seven Children is Volume 1, Carmine is Volume 2, etc.
A lot. I got the LTB Archive books when they first came out -- long before CC2 put them on Amazon -- so I had to deal with really, really expensive special request services through Shopping Mall Japan. The first two books cost me about $150 each while Starlight (Which was the special package with the soundtrack and extra books) was about $200. The Fan Books were about $150 in one fell swoop. Then the Japanese guide I got way back in 2011 for like $30.
And I can't wait for Solatorobon 3 and Tail Concerto's Archive to come out so I can spend even more money. I thought I was done spending money on the series. Silly me.
I actually have no idea.
Speaking as someone who got it way before Solatorobo was ever announced, it's cute, but incredibly boring. It's like Solatorobo-lite. Doesn't have anywhere near the amount of story, lore, or character development Solatorobo has. Solatorobo was quite honestly exactly what I wanted TC to be in the first place.
If nothing else, it's a very short game. It's best to play it with a controller, as are most PSX games.
You can do it either way. You might appreciate Solatorobo more if you're familiar with Tail Concerto's main characters, who make several cameos throughout the game, or you might appreciate Tail Concerto more if you play Solatorobo first and want to know the series' roots. It's no big loss if you don't play TC, though. Solatorobo is very much a standalone game and you don't miss out on any necessary story details if you skip it.
I'd honestly recommend TC if it weren't so damn slow. That's what really kills the game.
Strelka Stories when?
Bear in mind the prices are much, much better now that CC2 puts their stuff on Amazon.co.jp, who ships books internationally, so you're literally paying their retail price plus shipping.
So, for example, LTB 1 costs about $50 on Amazon.co.jp. Add in shipping to the US and it comes to about $80 (They do combine shipping and I highly recommend buying the books together if you can). Already you're paying half of what I paid to get LTB Archives 1 back in 2012, even less if you combine shipping on everything.
Only thing to keep in mind, though, if you plan on getting the Fan Books (The eight books on the left) is that the Rouge, Nero, and Blanck Fan Book volumes are now out of print and it seems unlikely that they'll get another printing.
never. it's all naruto and mobile all the time now. cc2's a business, so they gotta go with what makes the dough. do they even make a good profit off all the merch and books and stuff? I imagine there must be if they keep doing it.
Kind of sort of. You know the black cat gang kittens who are hidden around the game and have those photograph pieces? That's mainly what you do in Tail Concerto, except instead of throwing shit everywhere you have a gun that shoots bubbles which entraps them, kind of like Bubble Bobble.
Like I said, it's the kind of game I'd call cute, but I'm glad they went in the direction they did with Solatorobo.
Anyone here have links to older threads?
The world in Solatorobo is truly amazing. They even contradicted TC to make the world.
>Sites a bit too moon for me tho id say is there an easier way to navigate it?
Look to the top right of the page and you'll see a "Would you like to see this page in English? Click here" link. It makes the entire site layout English. You won't be able to use the same Amazon account you have in your home country but it's very easy to make a new one for co.jp.
The project page for it vanished. Anyone who clicks the link to their 15th project (Strelka Stories) gets redirected to the main site. Supposedly they hinted that something was coming in 2013, but nothing happened save for Little Tail Story.
As I said, I got my books way, way before CC2 put them on Amazon. When they were originally made they were only available on CC2's website and they did not ship internationally. You were forced to get it through a Japanese dealer who could do requests, and there are always hefty fees for that.
I don't regret it one bit, though. It was nice knowing for a time I was probably the only fan in the United States who had them, but I'm glad they're more readily available now for other fans.
Amazon Japan has an English version. Try searching the site on Google and search for "In English" or something.
>if you plan on getting the Fan Books they are out of print now
Interesting. They're still available for purchase on Amazon Japan now. They aren't completely out of sight.
Anyone get feels with this?
Thanks for the tip, I guess I just got overmooned and stopped looking. Im gonna have a long night debating buying this useless stuff.
Makes me feel bad there wont be an anime or ova even.
Thanks, pic related is my new icon for Steam.
Oh Flo, why so Centerfold
My friend is grateful for this page
Time to start saving
Never by the looks of it.
Making cash is one thing, labour of love is the other. If you have a good head on your shoulders you can do both.
Gives me those sweet memories of visiting seaside.
And... goodnight Kemono fans. See ya tomorrow. Here's a little something for you.
There used to be oceans right below the TC islands. In Solatorobo they said the islands are above the clouds to
hide the old Earthand therefore cannot have oceans right below them.
Has anyone seen this?
Lot of nice art in this PDF
Speaking of which, anyone have a link to that short little Mamoru-kun flash game?
Yeah. I think I recognize that road from the game too. Feels good.
Oh okay. I didn't know that. I have yet to play TC.
Someone animated her
I liked the ending song better.
Other favorite tracks of mine are:
Drop of Light (its sad)
A Flower For You (its sad)
Name of Light (due to how pumped it makes you feel)
To True Return (due to how complex and serious it is)
Some of the Perfect Soundtrack has made it to Youtube, just not all of it. Let me see if I can find the channel that has some of the tracks not on the OST sampler that came with the game...
Oh this sounds much nicer than it does coming through my ds.
And really nobody has uploaded?
These threads make me so sad.
No sequel, no anime, no soundtrack, expensive artbooks untranslated. Why live
Oh and Tears of Courage. The fact that that isn't on the OST sampler makes me sad.
That version of the song sounds amazing! The Perfect Soundtrack sounds great!
Do you happen to have a link to Mau -The Bower- in Perfect Soundtrack form?
It has the luxury of having a small group of dedicated fans along with having few people who know anything about the game (which is partly a bad thing, but it also means no one bothers coming in to destroy the thread)
Parts of the perfect soundtrack are on Youtube. Its a random obscure YOutube channel. Currently searching for it, hold on.
>Do you happen to have a link to Mau -The Bower- in Perfect Soundtrack form?
I'll do you one better
That sounds so wonderful.
Do you or anyone else know how much the import tax is importing music CDs like the Perfect Soundtrack? And how does paying import tax work?
I really want to download it but I'd rather wait and buy the soundtrack on disc. I appreciate it though.
Can't you just go into Windows Movie Maker or something and put the a song in it and a picture of the cover of the soundtrack on there, turn it into a video, and then upload it? You could do that for each of the songs.
Any easy way to do that. I'm not used to handling videos. Also I only have mp3s of the PST.
And there are a lot of songs (86 I think). Uploading every single one of them is hard, especially considering the titles are in Japanese, making the process confusing.
You can get the soundtrack one of two ways:
By itself (About $25 US plus $30-ish shipping so around $55 or so)...
Or in the Starlet pack (About $90 with $30 shipping putting it at about $120):
The Starlet pack has the third LTB Archives volume, the soundtrack in question, as well as a few other exclusive books, like a 100 page book of all the storyboards from the intro, a book of the 4komas, and a manga of that Astro Boy esque character. Not a bad deal if you were thinking about starting a collection.
Also don't ever render videos meant for good audio quality in WMM. It just can't.
>Any easy way to do that.
Meant to be a question.
I wish there's a script that inserts music in a folder into a premade video. Then another one to upload them to youtube. I'm so lazy lol.
I emulated it with a 360 controller. It is harder than Solatorobo (mainly due to awkward controls). There is a bigger focus on boss fights. Unfortunately it is a much shorter game. You'll still enjoy it.
Didn't Depend On Me come with the OST Sample disc that came with the game on release?
Oh okay. I'll remember that video wise. Don't want to lose audio quality on music.
And thanks for the info on the price of the Starlet pack. I was never fully aware.
But what I mean is, what is the price of import tax? I mean the cost customs puts on imported goods. Books don't have an import tax, but I thought music did.
Yeah, you don't need to worry then. My only gripe is that the shipping is really expensive but they ship absurdly fast. Like, you'll order it and get it no more than three days later.
Thanks. Bummer even the music was nerfed due to ds limitation. Hardly noticed this stuff playing the game.
Honestly though this is one of the worst sounding DS game I've ever played. In exchange we get a nice environment running in 60 FPS.
>Anyone here have links to older threads?
These are the recent really big ones.
Framerate drops in some fights though. Though it appears its only on the DS and DS Lite it did this.
I didn't notice that the game sounded bad to be honest. Heck the OP sounds more clear than Rune Factory's OP at least.
One of the official books.

Its not a doujin. Its from one of the officially published fanart books by CC2.
It's actually not from a doujin; it's from one of the Solatorobo Fan Books, a series that CC2 themselves published. Carmine is the specific volume that picture is from.
>Make a game with disgaea tier grindan and make your audience niche
>shit we better add furries to and make it even more niche
>Furries are the kind of shitters that make up 99% of touhou fans in that they dont actually buy anything and just draw porn
>wahhh why arnt you catering to us stop making more Jojo's, narutoes and other stupid weeb games
>Game series die
>mfw furries are retarded
I'd say that the piece of media I've had access to that had the most similarity to this game is Gurren Lagann. Only with more furries and less ridiculousness.
That said, I've not watched much Gundam (08th MS Team is the only one I've really watched) and I've never read Redwall.
But it really is very similar to Gurren Lagann.
You could say that. It's very charming
>The post-endgame VR training mission where Red and Elh nearly confess their love for each other
>interrupted by Merveille, pulled out before they can say and kith
>as usual, Red forgets
>Elh gets mad that he forgot
More expensive than most ds games but used aint bad. Dunno if youll get a case or anything tho
Why is there skin?
It should be fur!
Eh. Doesn't look that good.
Oh but it totally is, just a model/ style thing.
Yep its from the way they made the cutscene models. Read it in an article, its some sort of sprite/ 3d mishmash
In the Japanese version, Red thinks Elh is a boy so he pulls of her towel just for a "tease", then slaps Red.
In that pic the curtain, background and and part of the towel is 3D. Elh is 2D.
Oh. Well all right. It just looks a lot like normal human skin. Interesting.
Isn't that what happens in the American version? I mean the shower scene is there. I don't think it explicitely says that he removes the towel but he still gets slapped after walking in on her.
Does anyone have that picture of the
seven childrenbeing playful?
I remember Red is
in tranceand Roseis cuddling him.
You just need to lurk eBay. Complete and even brand new copies show up for pretty good prices every so often.
People want the game and its getting old. New is harder and harder to find I assume.
Ebay might have cheaper new prices. There are a few game shops online I'm sure. Do a little searching. Buy used if you have to. New if you must. The game really is worth it, trust us.
I could write an essay on it.
Chocolat for sure, shes the brains of the operation. Chocolat is the only thing that keeps Reds hunting business going. She flies the ship and organizes everything.
Not to mention Elh is like 300 years old that shits weird.
She's 300 years old but she can
finally age after the endand she still looks young. She's also not as...outward as Chocolat. Elh is more quiet and reserved. Plus Elh can read ancient language to some degree.
is there any sort of region locking for the game?
since I'm from burgerland will it work if I get it from say Europe? Never had to do anything like this before so I'm not sure.
There's no region protection but the American version has all the DLC pre-loaded on all cartridges. If whoever owned the European copy didn't download the content you're shit out of luck since WFC is gone.
>That post ending racing mission where Elh and chocolate are meant to dress up as race queens for you
>Elh is to embarrassed
>Merveille and Chocolate decide that Elh has to dress up if you win
>Once you win Elh goes all flustered
>Chocolate has to drag her off into the changing room
>chocolate slowly undresses a blushing Elh
>She ruffles her on the head and tells her she's too cute
>Also how do I trim WebMs?
Anyone? I want to upload a cutscene, but it's 4MB.
Right. I forgot Solatorobo even had DSi features. I'm pretty sure I recall people saying that they've imported their copy and it worked fine.
Still, I think it's best to get an American copy just to be sure you get the DLC.
I know right, that was always my first thought.
It's in Daylight, the second artbook.
Pretty sure the target audience were junior high students. Young teens basically. And nothing wrong with talking colorful animals. It still treats them like real characters and has a harsh, endearing storyline with much tragedy.
Having trouble loading that. Is that the scene where the two
Titano-Machina and a bunch of pirates and friends launch drills with bombs attached at the final titano machina meant to cause Coda?
That was my favorite scene.
It can be sexy, but for the most part, you're right. Its really cute.
Thanks for doing these all hi res like. You might be the first to do so.
But Red isn't bara, he's soft and cute
Red was the catalyst for me. After 20 some years of bisexuality never even crossing my mind. "Fuck it, I'm gay for him"
Not even Klonoa did it to me.
Well, now he does but still
O god theyre pushing past 80 new. I may have missed my chance, it wasn't this bad a while ago.
Nice. the perfect soundrack has been my thread theme since earlier. It plays really nicely straight through as an album, I like music the best that way
I own the game already
three times over, I'm just expressing my distaste at the situation.
Nah. I was the one who said earlier that I'd rather not download the OST but instead just buy the Perfect Soundtrack. I haven't been downloading any of these, just listening to them. Thanks anyways though anon.
And yep. Solatorobo threads are the kinds of things that I always leave open and stay up far into the night for.
Wow this dudes still here too. I stay up too late with these threads.
It really sucks balls that Bandai has to be a major cunt about this series and doesn't realize that it would be a cult hit if it was sold digitally on consoles
Same goes for Namco with Klonoa
Back when the game first came out no one preordered or bought it at my local gamestop. I knew the owner and he just gave me one of the two copies they had like a week after the game came out for my birthday
Too bad he moved to texas
My biggest regret is
piratingit. Now if I want a nice complete copy its stupid expensive. Also itd be the only ds game on my shelf and then id go buying all the ds games I like and no its bad.
That's precisely what I did. For the most part.
I heard about it on
FurAffinity Forumsand saw its opening theme. After seeing its opening, I grew interested and decided to try and look up what the gameplay was like. But I couldn't find much anything (surprise surprise) and I was really worried I wouldn't like it. Almost didn't buy it, but decided to go for it and I fell in love.
Yeah it does No drawfag around tonight.
Ive saved a few things here and there from other threads at least.
This one popped up last night if you werent there
What if I
It's stock art anon
I read the Nintendo Power (RIP) issue that had the review in it, only really noticed the score and the pictures, and then remembered the score when I was looking for a new DS game. It was on sale with the soundtrack, and I didn't want a radiant historia repeat, so I bought it knowing nothing about it.
It definitely made it one of the most memorable games I've played.
The only thing we have to go off of is that artwork of a guy and his kid standing in front of a chainlink fence with a rocket being transported to the launch pad.
My dream for this game?
>on foot plays like megaman legends
>robot plays like ZoE
>CC2 offered to develop MML3
>Capcom refused to let them
Why does Red's upper half get naked when he turns into Inuyasha?
I found it weird anyways that they did a reverse werewolf thing
They are usually made at least once a week, but we have been a little more active lately
i don't keep one, vagrant style
i'll keep an eye out for it then whenever i finish, wouldn't expect anything soon since i like taking my time and don't always get a lot of it to work
So, what retcons does Solatarobo make to Tail Concerto besides the Old Earth thing?
Is the Iron giant from TC a titanomecha from old earth or is it a remnant of that war mentioned in Solatorobo?
Saw this on TVTropes
During the Shower of Awkward scene, Red was just about to take a shower when he saw that Elh was already in there. Which would mean that he was prepared to take a shower; as in, not wearing any clothes. So the scene wasn't just awkward because Elh was in the shower with only a towel, but because Red was completely naked.
Unless this is confirmed, I don't think so, considering the laundry machines are in there, the room is a little more public than a bathroom so they might strip down in the shower, which would explain why she has a towel on while she's in the shower
Heres the layout, looks like a pretty dedicated bathroom.
Im assuming that the crew is typically just 2 people, then Red could likely have been expecting
Chocolatto be in the shower.
The official artworks actually often contradict each other.
Chocolat, of course.
such big, safe arms..
Oh man something open worldish where I can go explore some of the islands in depth , full 3d.
Not being crammed into a ds games limitations would already be a great change, maybe something on
A game centered around being a hunter for Kurvaz. You work your way up the command structure from rookie to Opera's right hand man.
Full 3d, 3rd person, With an improvement on Solatorobo's combat system.
Nah, it's just the link breaks the archival script I'm using.
Maybe I'll fix it myself.
Pic related is my tumblr background
well its been up for about 10 hours now, but it may have some breath in it yet. good thread tonight id say, pretty much no shitposting
wow I officially didnt sleep tonight and its getting towards work time
youve hurt my feelings anon
Is this CC2's new mascot or something?
She's pretty cute
Yeah as much as I like them it's best to have them every few weeks or so so we don't wear them out.
At least it didn't end up like those last smash threads where OP used a krystal pic
Yeah, don't wear these threads out unless you want some crazy janitor to come snooping and delete the threads.
Let us wait at least few days before doing something like this again.
Yep it's me. I've overslept. Gotta go back to work and then watch some Jojos and draw. Let's see if I can provide some original content for the next thread.
Maybe some of the thread-goers can answer me this: What are good Tactical RPGs featuring kemono characters? I am tried of replaying Shining Force 1 & 2 (I still need to finish 3) over and over. And I own both FFTA and FFTA2, but I've beaten them at 100%.
Scratch. Gamemaker is too much of a pain if you try to write an AI.
I still need to get a 3DS but thanks for the recommendation.
I thought Fire Emblem games are all human?
Nope, I believe two characters are "not human". Pic very related. She can turn into a bunny.
Anw, here's the link. Drive lacks many features of a music player, and the names are in moon, so I don't know how useful it'll be.
oh wow, i come back 4 hours later and not only is thread still here, but music uploader guy uploaded the music.
14 hours or so, damn
Music/WebM fag here. Just want to say I'm surprised that I found Solatorobo fans on /v/ of all places. I'm really happy I managed to join this thread earlier than the other times (mid thread, the other times I joined when thread is too old).
This thread lasted way longer than I'd expected. Thought it'd end here >>253703342
I guess this is the end. Goodbye.
>See this game
>"Lol furfag shit!"
>Curious after a while after seeing /v/ non-furfags claiming it is actually a good game
>Give it a shot with an emulator
>Play the whole damn game in just a day
>End up buying the special edition with the included soundtrack
what are you doing to me, /v/?
You have learned that media that has anthro animals doesn't automatically make it shit because a group of people who have nothing to do with the game's production like it too.
Teaching you to like what you like and not give a fuck, that's what we're doing to you.
You're still a faggot.
'Bout time to let it die.
It would be just as stupid but almost make sense if the thread were past 500 replies and were going to die soon anyway, but it's not. You're just posting shit that anybody who was remotely interested could just google, all the while basically forcing the thread into quick and unncessary deletion.
I just now I'm reminded of why we can't have Solatorobo threads until late at night.
Guess you're right. Still >>253742714 >>253742946
