So out of all the fire emblem chars that made it into smash, how the fuck has this axe demon lord of all lords never made it into the game?
Instead we get a whole bunch of faggot sword users yet again when this god of war annihilates them by the dozens.
Ike hits hard and is slow like you'd expect an axe user to be. Ike also doesn't have a single stabbing attack, it's all slashes and swings.
There's absolutely no reason to add an axe user.
>Ike hits hard and is slow like you'd expect an axe user to be.
So instead of putting an actual heavy character that uses an axe, they put one that emulates an axe user. Sounds logical.
Swords are extremely versatile weapons which is why 90% of characters from Jap games use them. You can make two sword users fight differently with ease but two spear users becomes tricky.
they have blue hair and use swords, okay. You'd be fucking retarded if you claimed Ike fought exactly like Marth though. Lucina is just an alt skin given special treatment and she wasn't planned as a character from the start. Robin has WHITE hair and seems to be 70% magic so no complaints from me.
Whatever, nigger. The Tharja thing wasn't even my main point, I'm saying that 3 reps from a franchise that isn't mario is rare, but from a single game within that franchise is fucking unheard of.
>but from a single game within that franchise is fucking unheard of.
Well technically all three of Zelda's reps in brawl were based on Twilight princess designs but as of that point Twilight Princess was the latest installment and Zelda deserves three reps minimum for Link, Zelda, And Ganondorf.
I totes agree with you that more awakening reps would be retarded but technically we only have ONE and it's Robin. Sakurai admitted he picked Robin over Chrom and that Lucina was an alt skin from the start.
>No Eliwood, Hector, Lyn, Roy, Lillina, Zephiel, none of the eight legends, Ephraim, Erika,Lyon, Sothe, Fucking Black Knight, Dragons...
>Have this exact same clone instead, we even casualized the fuck out of him
Swords, despite their versatility are pretty overrated and even certain parts of the sword are underrated. Most of the time pommels and guards are only there because they look cool and Robin's a little different but hopefully he's more magic than sword.
Ike is cool though since ingame he's more of a dude who carries around a big ass piece of metal that happens to be capable of cutting things. Link is basically a walking armory or a medieval operator. I haven't played FE:A but isn't Lucina able to use more than just a sword?
It's a shame that most other weapons in vidya and whatnot aren't played up as much as swords. I blame this on swordfags.
Please, fucking tell me this wouldn't have been the best FE: A rep possible so I can laugh at how wrong you are.
He could have had a completely unique moveset away from the other FE sword users. He could have been like Virgil where as the other FE swordsmen are Dante.
>tfw no brom
>tfw finding out brom is the black knight
>playing HHM again after all these years
>mfw this is actually the fastest and easiest way to complete the chapter
nigga, the moment he took Armads he was destined to die on the battlefield fighting alone, he was old and without divine weapon, so he suffer a death on the battlefield like Durban predicted, there wasnt any manakete fight and shit, at much he took down some cavalry and so
Any of the older ones on eshop?
I dont have a gameboy (advance) anymore, just a 3ds, and I want to play some. But dont want to emulate on my pc.
All I know 3ds has is awakenign and Shadow Dragon.
Depending on who you ask, one sucks or both do. I want to play the others. I know of the two on GC and wii.
Simple answer is:
A. He's not the main character of his game.
B. His game came out between Melee and Brawl, Ike was more relevant at the release of Brawl.
I'd personally love to see Hector playable cause SSB has never had an axe user but at the end of the day Marth is apparently more popular and Ike had two standalone games at the helm. Robin deserves his spot as a hybrid magic user. Obviously Hector is a better choice than Lucina since she's Marth 2.0 but she's more relevant and popular right now.
Hope FE14 has the main lord use an axe.
You talking shit about my waifu?
Hector is not important, Ike is, his games are waaaay better than Hector's too.
Hector's a pussy bitch too.
>Better than FE7
>fucking tell me this wouldn't have been the best FE: A rep possible so I can laugh at how wrong you are.
He's just another fucking swordsmen, Robin actually had magic which makes him more creative than all the FE reps so far.
>>mfw this is actually the fastest and easiest way to complete the chapter
Try the whole game.
>him* her, you fucking autist
But Lucina is just a Marth alternate costume with a slot, Sakurai said so, why do you care? Nobody would have taken her ''spot'' if she wasn't in.
You don't know what this word means.
How the hell is it not better than a game that has even less skill and strategy than FE7 since the game-soloing unit is given to you straight in chapter 1 and is even pre-promoted (Seth)? You don't see any of the GBA FE's gamebreaking issues in PoR.
>miss 1,000 attacks in Smash 4
>The Cap took forever to announce
So? What does that matter at all? Man you sure love grasping at straws.
> and Little Mac isn't manly.
Dude he's as manly as you can get with that stature, he even has the traditional big ass eyebrows.
Japan doesn't hate manly guys, they just think muscles equate to homosexuality while skinny pretty boys deserve all the pussy.
It doesn't bother me much though, unless Japan's actively shitting on large dudes like Raoh and whoever else.
Here's something irrelevant that I feel like asking: Which country thinks that "Nothing personnel kid" people/characters are the best?
>Man you sure love grasping at straws.
Really? You're going to go there? You named two fucking characters in an enormous roster, one of whom isn't even fucking manly, and I'M grasping at straws.
Wow, anon. Wow.
I did the same thing with Gaius on my first playthrough, oddly enough. Took him for just another enemy and killed him. Feels kinda bad, because I got him on later playthroughs and loved the character.
