It's actually pretty charming. Doesn't do anything to break out of the stereotypical JRPG gameplay except for rolling hp and psi numbers but the overall charm of the game makes it worth while.

Before I maybe get banned, I just wanted to say I really want to try Mother 1, but It's so hard to find an English ROM these days, it was easier in 2009 after I saw Chuggaaconroy playing it and just had to give it a try.
