No. It is extremely frustrating. Picture city stages in particular gave me a lot of headaches back in the day. I still think that it's one of the best platformers ever though. The music in particular is great.

It's a game with an easy control mechanism. Jumping onto platforms and punching enemies with your punch ability. What's so "frustrating" about that?

As a kid I owned the PC version and it frustrated the living fuck out of me. These days though I've gotten gud and I find the games much easier. Still fun tho.

Which one's your favorite or have you beaten? I've beaten them all except for Legends and yes, I beat the first 3 when I was a kid though Rayman 1 took a few years to get back to and complete.

I always hear people complain about the Scorpion, but I honestly had more trouble with this fucking bitch, took me forever to get past the bit where you have to break the washing machine

Rayman and Total Drivin' (Grand Tour Racing '98 in the US) were the first two PSone games I owned back in 1998. I never completed it and it ended up being borrowed by a friend who moved to another part of the country.

I have a Vita now and I'm thinking of getting either Origins or the original Rayman to play on a flight, which would /v/ recommend? Rayman is a lot cheaper than Origins.

I 100%'d both as I went, including the throwback levels in Legends.

Took me 16 and 10 hours respectively

Rayman: Strangely enough, first time I played it was on the GBA. Never got to the ice cream chateau level since I'd run out of continues. Only one I haven't finished completely.
Rayman 2: First Rayman game, I think the Robot Pirates are the best enemies out of the Rayman games, they fit so well, coming off as this foreign threat. Beat the game with all the lums, I loved it.
Rayman 3: Good too, don't like the hoodlums as much as the robot pirates, a lot more light-hearted and colorful.
Rayman Origins: Was pretty good, fun little 2D platformer and had THICK NYMPH THIGHS.
Rayman Legends: Better than Origins in every way. BUT THERE WERE NO NYMPHS, ONLY BARBARA AND BARBARA IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR DELICIOUS NYMPHS

1 is the best with one of the best soundtracks in gaming history, 2 was fun, Origins and Legends are ok but i just can't get into them, i don't like the artstyle, there's something papery about it, like playing some cheap indie platformer. Except the nymphs from Origins of course.
