>to progress you have to find the secret passage through the fake wall
>the fake wall looks exactly the same as regular walls
>the game never gives you any clue that fake walls even exist and that you should be looking for them
>>377198606
name one visual novel, one platformer, one console FPS and one real time strategy game that did this.
>>377198762
Crash 2 has something like this but it's only a secret area
>>377198762
Cave story in the plantation level
>one of the greatest composers in the early years of console gaming
>was able to do shit that could only be described as pure sorcery with the incedibly crude technology present in NES/SNES sound chips
>none of the games he worked on were good outside of his music
Let's have a Tim Follin thread, /v/
Starting with the obvious, Silver Surfer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQlLl2j5THQ
His works are unbelievable
Did you just insult Plok?
>>377198339
What's the doing nowadays?
Solstice music is probably my favorite.
Anti-Denuvo, Fromdrones and weebs are mad as fuck that a sequel will undoubtedly be confirmed. It's a better, Western take on the Souls formula with greater than Japanese production values that blows Bloodborne and Nioh out of the water.
>A LOOSELY Souls style game with INSANELY better graphics.
>Motion-captured animations.
>Westernized/European aesthetic and ideals.
>Dynamically placed, ambient music cues
>A FULLY REALIZED, immersive story with a set character that's actually voiced.
>FULLY voiced audio notes
>Mouths actually move when characters talk
>Stops at NG++.
>Much harder, REALISTIC fighting.
>Metroid/Castlevania style exploration.
>Crafting
>Don't have to worry about retards interfering with your game
>A much MORE rewarding Level-up system that emphasizes risk versus playing it safe.
>No retarded marathon runs to get back to a boss
>Boss weapon drops are dependent on how you battle/kill each of the five bosses, making strategy VERY rewarding.
>It's on PC
Fuck off.

>>377523229

Gustavo Santaolalla(composer of the OST) revealed the year in an interview(it's in spanish):
http://www.lanacion.com.ar/2022113-gustavo-santaolalla-mi-vida-puede-ser-una-road-movie
He said: "Also, i'm finishing the music of the video game The last of Us 2 that will be known in 2018" HYPE MY BOYS
Calling it Part II is so fucking obnoxious.
>caring about this trash
>>377197689
But it's like The Godfather Part II!
How the hell do we fix Final Fantasy XV?
>>376673903
By moving on.

There, I just fixed FF15

ITT: Shovelware you liked
Dude i played the ever loving fuck out of this game. Really fun with friends. Havent thought about it in years
>>377197436
This game was fun as fuck. I liked it so much i should replay it
>>377197436
>the sequel to ExciteBike is shovelware
How old are you?
Why do people hate "movie" games?
>>377197178
People don't, only /v/ does. And who gives a fuck about what /v/ thinks?
I either want to sit the fuck back and do nothing or have full control. This inbetween shit is infuriating.
Because there has yet to be a single one that does anything other than merge the worst aspects of both movies and video games.
Also, TLOU is not a movie game, it's just a game. Something like Heavy Rain is a movie game.
So are you excited aboute3, /v/?
bayo 3
I'm excited but only for the inevitable shitposting that accompanies it every year.
I'm expecting bb2 so I know I'll be disappointed.
Again, what is this for?
>>377197019
something noteworthy enough to make even you post about it, along with all the other horny trap faggots
For me, I want tocuddle with Link and stroke his cock as we make out passionately.
>>377197019
Comedy
>ywn experience P5 for the first time ever again

Did you platinum?
>>377196807
I generally wonder how stupid you need to be to enjoy this piece of shit game
Can we talk about how Mick Gordon is possibly the best musical talent this generation?
Jago's theme ( https://youtu.be/FB_MUSbR-sA ) and bfg division ( https://youtu.be/QHRuTYtSbJQ ) are legit some of the best tracks in vidya.
Also love his style of reworking legacy musical themes with great thought put into it instead of the usual 'just reorchestrate/techno remix/electric guitar cover my shit up' approach other composers seem to have (see street fighter). They seem to be just as catchy and relevant today just like doom and KI soundtracks were kickass fodder in the 90s, something you'd actually listen to on a modern playlist instead of some amateur ocremix (not that there aren't great ocremixes).
Refute/contribute/discuss
>>377521445
>best musical talent
He does good work, but let's not go fucking crazy here.
>>377521445
I'd have to hear more of his work, but I was really impressed with the D44M soundtrack.
>>377521935
Well I meant this console generation, not overall obviously
I heard it's good
You heard right
You heard wrong
You head nothing
Now that the trannies banned, shall we have an actual Death Stranding disscusion?
What do you want out of this game
>>377196440
I'm guessing its some sort of psychological horror experience.
Not really looking forward to it.
I don't have high hopes for the overall quality and replayability.
I'll pass anyway.
I'm hoping since Kojima raised the bar with MGSV we get extremely fluid and snappy controls.
Thats one of the things I absolutely love from MGSV, is that it plays and feels so fucking good.
Even the little sound designs for your machines and picking up minerals gave me a boner.
>>377199439
>Kojima raised the bar with MGSV
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA
