How do I get the destiny dlc for free?
It's $60 in the psn store. It's fucking ridiculous. I just picked this game up, really like it and can't afford the dlc. Can anyone help a brother out?
>>388493474
You should have bought this, it's $40 and comes with everything
Also, the sequel comes out in two weeks at which point nobody will be playing D1 for a while
>>388493618
A friend bought two hard copies of the standard edition for $10 and he gave one to me. We don't care all that much about destiny 2. We just want to have fun with this one for now.
Is there anyway I can find a redeemable code for dirt cheap or even free? Thanks for your advice though.

Get a job
Phil Spencer has killed himself and Microsoft hires YOU to turn Xbox around
How do you do it?
>>388493395
Focus on Windows
Slowly phase out Xbox consoles (but keep the branding for Windows related gaming shit)
>>388493395
Bring back Kinect, TV, sports and Call Of Duty.
>>388493395
Say XBOX is fubar as a gaming console, turn it into the next gaming prebuilt pc brand, and release an original xbox, xbox360 emulator

I dont think its entirely his fault
Certainly wasn't worth the weight.

I wonder why Todd never actually made games himself since Morrowind.
Would his direct involvement make them better maybe?
>>388492725
I guess being a liar pays better than being a game designer.

Go home, Todd
Should I start with 1 or 2?
Playing the OG Fallouts has gotten me hungry for more isometric CRPGs
>ever playing anything out of release order
>>388491843
Start with 1, cause that's where non retarded people start to count.

The original is fantastic, and serves as a well crafted low level AD&D experience. It eases you in, but its solid. 2 is more intricate, with a deeper plot and characters, and a more tactical experience. Import for best results.
I highly recommend the original, not the EE, for your first time through. The mechanics change a good bit, and it loses some charm.

what am i supposed to craft/spend all the supplies on. i have a disgusting surplus and now i have to just throw everything on the floor, which i dislike
>>388947971
I love this hidden gem game
>>388948039
toss all of those glass bottles all over the floor. enemies will die before they can even reach you.
you can sell the tape, round pills, pipe. eggs and weapon parts.
and i don't think that the chain has a use other than to fix the village well. if you've already done that then you can throw that away (you cant sell it)
If you haven't already you should make a single-shot shotgun with that long barrel. it doesn't break after shooting like the single pistol. It just has to be reloaded after each shot.
You know that point when you're really enjoying a game, and it feels great at first, but then it turns out the rest of the game is the same thing with no evolution in gameplay and fighting hordes and hordes of the same types of enemies over and over with no variation to the point it feels dull repetitive boring and mediocre, and you just want the game to end already but you find out you're only on chapter 10 of 17? Yeah. That.
Ever had that in vidya /v/? Did you power on through like a tropper or did you drop cold turkey?
>>388491073
If I'm not having fun I stop playing, but a game being repetitive is hardly ever the cause of that. I wouldn't be playing a game if it wasn't fun, so for me to notice a game being repetitive means it has to be fun for a long enough period of time for me to notice that it is repetitive.
Often times I drop games because of some bullshit mechanic that gets introduced or something of the sort.

>that cave area that doesn't checkpoint
>lost 2 hours of progress
>never played again
There are games that do just that, and games that SEEM like they'd be just that - but do not ever get tiresome and feel engaging throughout the end.
Examples of the former: nuDOOM, nuSW.
Example of the latter: Serious Sam 3
in retrospect, this series was never actually that good
good discussion
3, vice city, san andreas are all good as long as you play the pc version. san andreas on ps2 runs like absolute dog shit
Shut the fuck up, kid, you'll never know how mindblowing october 2001 was, and you never will. You will never understand how VC was in every way better than 3 and SA was in every way better than VC, and how they came one right after the other.

Why do they still use Shadow so sparingly even though he's still the second most popular character in the series? Wouldn't a lot of people get excited at the prospect of playing as him in Mania or Forces?
Because it's a videogame for kids
>>388947854
Because look at what happened when Shadow got his own game.

DaS > BB > DeS > DaS3 >>> DaS2
Dark Souls 3 was only fun for the first playthrough.
BB and DaS3 are the most combat focused so I'd say BB because it had great weapon movesets.
