After Splatoon the Squid Sisters quickly lost popularity and Callie desperate for her past glory decides to try and become the Octarians new Idol. Marie decides she wants nothing to do with this.

Things quickly get out of hand.

Why does this game have lore at all? Isn't lore in splatoon like a step down from lore in fighting games?

The whole point is that society is at fault and thus the going to the police who serve to regulate society would be ineffective. More to the point each of the palace owners are in positions of authority and are able to coerce others into making them appear innocent at a glance whether through social pressure or actual threats

The literal first thing they do in the first two places is try getting the victims to speak up towards the police. Both times it fails.

After all, they cant exactly go "I can enter this magical world and learn things I don't know". The ONLY thing they have to go on is the victims admitting what happened, which they refused to do both times.

And in the third case, the guy is literally a criminal that the police are trying to build a case against.

And Makoto literally goes to her sister, who's building a case against this guy, and tells her that he's blackmailing students. Nothing happens.

And yeah, the picture is a big deal for Japanese folks.

Anything weak to lightning is also weak to thrust, since the only thing weak to lightning is kin. Oh, and bolt paper/bolt gems exist. Tonitrus has shit range and the moveset doesn't change when "tricked" it's just a shitty buff

The DS was at the end of its lifespan and AAI never sold well, meaning it wasn't worth localizing it. Shit sucks, but at least the fan localization is fantastic.

I fell in love with Act 2 first, on my first listen I didn't even really enjoy Act 1, but the more I've listened to each of them the more I feel Act 1 is actually better. Act 1 grows on you the more you listen, whereas a few cracks start showing up in Act 2.
