I love the partner mechanic but so many of them horribly nerf the characters.
Knuckles loses his glide with Sonic
anyone with Amy has a shitty jump
Tails and Cream are the WORST flyers when paired with one another
At the same time, Knuckles had a double jump with Tails, a Wall-Spin Dash with Amy, and there are a few other cool buffs/differences characters get.

This is actually the problem with all of Dimps' GBA and DS Sonic games. They all have things they do better than the rest, but they all have issues that handicap the overall experience. You could create a god-tier game by combining the best elements of all 6 (not counting Battle because it's a fighting game).
ITT: Actually good F2P gamesI'm so fucking sad that there isn't more people actually playing this game. It has such great mechanics. It's basically EVE lite in a 17th century setting.
