What's the Sunbather of video games?
>>379043182
That's some shitty design. You can barely make out what it says
>>379043258
It's a code used during the Vietnam war. Impossible for gooks to read.
Mind numbing droning shit for casual fans of the genre? Fallout 3
Would you be fine with playing these kinds of games with your wife?
I would if I was him because HCG and his wife just pretend to like any game shoved in his face to shill.
Take a shot every time he says "it felt like a religious experience" throughout his videos. You'll die in five minutes or less.

This question does not arise.

Go to sleep, Johnny
Is there ANYONE else here who's not into consolewars?
Is there ANYONE here who actually likes a lot of games and isn't a depressed nitpicking shitposter?
Pic related, all arefun to play in their own way.
I just want consoles to go away because with how bad exclusives are running now they're clearly not capable of doing their job
>>379043084
Most idorts probably play games more so they post less.
my favorite games were on consoles and in general I really believe consoles have better games but I so absolutely hate the limits of consoles so I play PC, I need to customize my games, I need good performance
I just wished every console game would be properly ported to PC and exclusives to not exist anymore
aside from hardware, because of pirating and steam sales, it's also cheaper
First Game
>fun, unpolished gameplay
>aesthetically pleasing graphics built around tight budget/hardware limitations
>lackluster, yet serviceable story
Second Game
>gameplay improves and innovates from the first game
>better graphics due to more resources/money
>a well-crafted narrative
Third Game
>the gameplay feels stale or unfinished due to resources being spent elsewhere
>top notch graphics
>the story takes the driver's seat and begins to annoyingly encroach on the gameplay
>>379042841
timesplitters, right?
No seriously now TSFP was a fucking gem, and you know it. Stop mememing up that 2 was better. It was fantastic, like they all are, but 3 just blew every expectation my younger self had for it.
*kisses*
>>379043009
Stop trippin' anon,
TSFP was the shit.
>>379042841
What is Mass Effect(except the gameplay part in three, I found it better than 2)
This is my first Tekken game and fucking Eddy and Xiao Yu keep continuously ducking my punches (I'm playing Bryan), and low kicks don't seem like they do much dmg or lead to anything? What should I do?
git gud
>>379042813
Play a superior fighting game, like SFV
Play Tekken Tag 2.
Nintendo on suicide watch!
>ratchet & who
>crash bandiwho
>>379042743
That'd be a better bundle if the R&C remake wasn't so disappointing
>>379042743
wtf is this real
What went wrong?
fanbase
>>379042451
Same thing as with the OG PS4, it was released too early.
They wanted to get in with the 1080p craze, and ended up with shit hardware due to the times, this time they wanted to cash in with the 4K tv craze, and once again the hardware just wasn't good enough.
They should have waited a year or two longer in both cases.
>>379042451
It was released alongside a gimmick PS4, while neither had backwards compatibility.
FlaSh vs Shine hype!
who here /asl/?
>>379042409
Shine will win, it's just a question of how he will win. I'm expecting one macro game with econ cheese, a failed BBS from flash, and some bizarre timing attack.
3-0 Flash.
2017 is half over. Can we agree Hollow Knight will be /v/'s GOTY when it ends?
>>379042134
No. I haven't even played it.
>>379042134
It's better than anything else that's come out this year, but /v/ has shit taste or prefers to just shitpost so Horizon Zero Dawn or some other garbage will likely be GOTY on here.
>>379042134
This moth is Free Content Pack 001
What does /v/ think of the Might and Magic franchise (New World Computing/3DO, not Ubisoft)?

3 to 8 are some of my favorite games ever.
Love it, I still replay VI and VII every 2 or 3 years.
>>379042660
I only played 6, 7, 8 and 9. 6 and 7 are my favorites, but 8 was comfy too. I hated 9 and Ubisoft's abomination Might and Magic X is terrible.
>4 Campaigns (American, British/French, Canadian, and Polish
>At least 8 hours in length
>Tank Sections
>Decent storylines
>Good graphics (especially by 2006 standards)
What's not to love?
>>379041952
That guy looks like he's badly posing for a Costanza esque reaction pic, not fighting in a war.
>>379041952
I only played COD Finest Hour and that's the standard i hold ww2 games to.
I played the medal of honour games before that but none of them quite struck me the same way.
>>379041952
Pretty good with a decent online. I forget the name, but the one map with a bridge with a town on one side and two houses on the other was pretty sick.
You played using the Wolven set right?
Bear set was too comfy.
>Grandmaster Wolven Boots
>Legendary Manticore pants
>Legendary Viper gloves and chest reskinned to look like the original set
Best looking set, also good for alchemy builds.
Bear and feline set go hard of go home nigga
What are your favourite gamer memes?
>>379041579
Any time I see these shitty minions memes I assume it's false flagging.
Mario 7? Is this the one I played? uh, let's check it out...
This is an example of how you do a game badly.
>No direction
I'm not talking handholding. There is literally no rhyme or reason for anything you do until you've done it or any obvious goal at any point.
>Poor design
There are literally rooms you cannot get out of, coupled with the no direction thing you're likely to walk into them when actually trying to find out where it is you're supposed to be going.
There are screen layouts were it is impossible to avoid getting hit or even get past because of enemy placement
>Backtracking
No direction means wandering around
Wandering around means you find something you can't use until you've bought the item
Having to buy the item means farming coins or stumps, backtracking into town and then going back. Early example is the glyph reader.
>No clues at all for most puzzles.
Those red skeletons that you can't kill without taking damage? yeah you gotta kill both of those and a block will fall somewhere else which lets you solve the puzzle! Dude, courage! just fall onto the spikes! 10/10 game design - IGN
>But muh Japanese indie dev
>Muh retro difficulty
>J-just look up a walkthrough/map
Doesn't excuse shit game design
casual detected
People who complain about backtracking aren't worth listening to
>>379041519you're just posting bait so you can have a La-Mulana thread, you sneaky bastard
Why haven't you started working on that game yet, /v/?
Don't want to waste my time on math + gamemaker is shit
>>379041293
too hard / flat out impossible to get foot in the door
Publishers dominate you anyway if you get far enough
Like most other work fields, it is forever cucked and maintained by the wealthy.
>>379041323
>>379041386
Sounds like a couple a quitters to me!
