yes but on specific conditions
1. minimum usage of phases or have phases transition smoothly into gameplay, no 10 minute cutscenes in the middle of the fight
2. no bullet sponges or fuckhuge cunts, they are never fun
3. Test the player's skill but don't overload them. The absolute batshit insane should be for post game bosses

Bought it and played like 8 hours in what felt like 2, hilariously I only beat the first two chapters because of how I'm playing, it's been awhile since I've played a disgaea so I'm having a great time
I never use named characters, but I guess my favorite is Sera because she's literally the only female I have so far
My favorite generic rn is female hearler (male) with the evilty for 200% increased exp from healing and defensive equipment for memes

I don't quite like how it looks.

I got all except the blue coins. I started using a guide and reverse engineering every location, but got bored a few hours into it. Coins spawning in different locations in different locations was bullshit, and I'm not that concerned with seeing a different picture in the credits

It's just fucking Enemy Spam: The Game. Every time you get anywhere, you get ambushed by 50 fucking assholes. They didn't even try to make it challenging. They were just lazy assholes who threw enemies anywhere to simulate difficultly.

That was just a funny moment I captured but most of the time the eyes are a solid color or garbage textures, it's annoying but at least the game is playable. It's worse in Jak 2, almost all eyes in that game are solid black.
