lamao my dude. I'm not touching that outdated garbage
How can they redeem themselves?
Stop making games based on television shows. With the exception of Walking Dead Season 1, every other game they've made that was based on a show was shit.
Wolf Among Us II that doesn't suck
Also a Walking Dead season where you play as Negan instead of Mementine
make a weeb vn
>There are people who unironically think the N64 version is superior to the xbox version.
How fucking tryhard contrarian do you have to be to think this? The xbox version made the 3rd person shooting far more enjoyable and not to mention gave you an actual framerate compared to the god awful n64 version. It also added a better gameplay with the baseball bat and more enemies.
The multiplayer is a debatable subject. In regards to the single player campaign, the xbox version is so much better.

Xbox had the potential to be the best version but fucked it up.
>Let's stay focused. Halo... how do we use it against the Covenant?
>This ring isn't a cudgel, you retard!
Was 2001 really so long ago that they could get away with this? What a different time.

Thought this line was quite strange

Why did everyone forget this line?
Halo is a cool guy
Hey /v/, it's been a while.
Is this game any good? I was a big fan of the original as a kid but I've been away from buying new games for so long that I'm not really sure what publications to go to for solid reviews or critique. People do that mostly on YouTube now, right? That's not really my speed.
1) Does that guy from Forbes still write decent and honest reviews?
2) Where can I go?
3) Does this game suck, or will it be a fun nostalgia trip for someone who was a fan of the original?
Do you like Digimon World 1? If yes, then you'll REALLY like Next Order. It fixes basically everything from 1.
Serously. Name a flaw. I can almost promise that it's been fixed
>>379325054
Are the evolution parameters still so insanely narrow that you'll have to use a guide to get anything other than a Numamon/Vademon? And hitting those numbers will dominate most of your 'mons life?
Those were my two biggest issues with World 1. I was also 10 years old or so so maybe I just sucked. I definitely remember hanging out with this one kid I hated, just so I could sneak away and use this thing called "the internet" to look up stuff about Digimon World on GameFAQs.
All he wanted to do was play football, but his parents had broadband internet in 2000 and that blew my fucking mind.

>Are the evolution parameters still so insanely narrow that you'll have to use a guide to get anything other than a Numamon/Vademon?
Nope. Also, the game actually lists the requirements for each evolution

It should be designed more like Project Dread

It should be set in the future so we can have mechs. The fact that they didn't do this before confounds me.

I'm fine with it, but only if we don't get another Corrin. I'm still recovering from my stage 4 stomach caner from that crap.

DEATH STRANDING PRE E3 SPOILERS
Get ready for the trailer as the closer to Sony's damp squib of a conference.
>Set on an alternate earth where man made ecological disasters are coinciding with the rapture.
>Play as 3 characters at multiple locations around the world.
>The Reedus trailer is an in game location, a volcanic caldera near the south pole. Another location is Iceland and also a portion takes place in Normandy France.
>The dead soldiers from all wars are being brought back and puppeted as soldiers for the Final War.
>The four horseman and The Lightbringer serve as the overarching big bads with the horseman as Lucifers four devas.
>Mads is a modern soldier that sold his soul to join the forces of hell as one of its puppeteers.
>Hell is not fire and brimstone but more organic and lovecraftian with Junji Ito brought on board again after his work on PT to help design monsters with Del Toro based on his work in the manga GYO.
>Players can leave messages like Dark Souls and their bodies can be raised as an umbilical puppet like in Nier Automata to fight with you for a brief time.
>Cities will flood in real time as the story escalates.
>Like MGSV there are large open maps but they are separated.
>World is a more bleak story with less action. Inspired by The Last of Us, Alan Wake, MGSV's original intentions and a lot of icelandic/scandanavian cinema.
>LUDENS is in the game and yes it is reedus.
>The horsemen and lucifer are only here in spirit, their bodies are techno organic neo humans as part of a 'hubris of man'/man creating his own downfall with technology he could not control plot. Essentially big business and greed literally built this doorway into our world for them based on the umbilical tech they 'found' aka they were given by the devil without them knowing.
>Del Toros badge is going to mean things for Kojima Productions Beyond Death Stranding.
>On track for October 2018 release.
>There are no giant robots.
Ok, but wheres the source?

What went wrong? This should have been great, like what REmake is to the original RE. But instead, it's considered the inferior version.
>>379323873
/v/'s shit taste, that's what. Adding the MGS2 control scheme and mechanics made the game more realistic, at least in that you could put cameras permanently out of commission by shooting them (finally!). I also liked the MGS2 control scheme overall more than the MGS1 scheme. All in all a worthy update to the original MGS.
>>379323873
Shit new art direction
Music save for a couple tracks is uninspired noise, and cutscene music is boring as fuck
Redone voice lines sound less natural
Infamous cutscenes
Greg Eagles sounds black cause he is but he at least nailed Gray Fox
Broken gameplay (If I wanted mgs2 gameplay I'd play fucking mgs2)
3D briefing is terribile
Lacks the extra stuff from PS1/Integral
Game has awful draw distance and is covered in smog
M9
MGS1's level design just didn't fully utilize MGS2's improved mechanics imo. Voice acting lets it down, everyone sounds half asleep. It's just kind of a disappointing remake that lacks the polish of the other games.
>>379324664
fyi, you could destroy cameras in MGS1 with the missile launchers. Felt great discovering that.
Does anyone actually use GOG galaxy? Feels like they're wasting resources.
>Here's this client that we copied everything from steam, but it's DRM-free!
>But it's optional
Why bother fighting against steam since it's too dominating?who's the idiot that would put their games on GOG so that it gets pirated?
>>379323713
Yeh, I run them all (Origin, Uplay, battle.net). a lot of ram goes unused anyways
I do. I'm slowly moving away from Steam. I'm glad I can preorder elex on GoG. Galaxy is not as pleasing to the eyes as Steam but seriously fuck steam.
>>379323713
>who's the idiot that would put their games on GOG so that it gets pirated?
Me. I'm making games so people can play them and have a good time (if you're the kind of faggot that's into that kind of thing). All the money I make is really just a bonus.
