Why does /v/ hate the RPG Maker so much?

Wouldn't it be awesome to play other anons games full with memes and all that shit? Maybe we could even co-operate in making a game. Games where you fight hipsters, neckbeards, jews, muslims, robots, chads... it could be awesome.

Yes, the story is rushed. Yes, the game is unfinished. Yes, you're disappointed. But I still like this game. I really like this game. It was the most fun I had from a game in 2016. Don't get me wrong, the game is still a big rushed mess in the latter half but the game still manages to be good enough to succeed in delivering a fun experience and an emotional impact. To me, this game was still better than the massive shitshow that is the FFXIII trilogy, which frustrates me and almost killed my love for the Final Fantasy series.

I'm cautiously optimistic that Tabata and his team can fix this game in the future or at least, make this game bigger and better in terms of content. I like to believe that they're actually trying to improve on their creative vision of the game. I only ask and hope that people can enjoy this game for what it was and if not, try to understand that this game was made by a lot of people who really did their best to make something good with the limited time that they had.
