Man where did it go wrong? I was so hyped for this game from from day one. I was probaly my most hyped game for years thinking it would be hardcore, realistic and brutal survival rpg like no other. But what did it get? A fucking half backed cocky cutter cartoonish survival pile of garbage.

Jesus man. The game could still turn around if they add all the pve content they promised and it's not shit or insanely tedious to do like Ark.
I'm getting pretty fucking sick of all these games being pvp focused though. It's like no has caught on that people are assholes and will hack or abuse every glitch they can to screw others over in ways outside their system. Instead of epic fights it always devolves into "hur hur I'm trashing your stuff while you aren't around".

Most of the games announced for it are ports, it's not getting any important third party game outside of last gen ports. It's not even getting games like Megaman Legacy Collection.
The battery of this portable is pretty shitty, it also has shitty paid online in the future and it's underpowered as hell.
Even the Nintendo 3DS is getting more important games than this thing.
I understand there are games like Mario or Xenoblade 2 but those aren't coming any time soon.
So. What's the appeal? I'm curious because I can't find anything interesting or amazing on it.

I only played Super Mario Sunshine on GC, so I'm no expert but I have seen footage of the N64 mario game. One thing you can't deny is that Crash 2 graphics have survived the passing of time way better than Mario's early 3D graphics. Same reason why PS1 version of Duke Nukem 3D is way better than the N64 version with the weird 3D effects that don't look good in retrospect.
Crash looks much more fun to me, but I guess it's kind of arcady compared to 3D Mario platformers so if you can't get into that.
