I met so many cool people that I never saw again. There's nothing quite like that feeling the first time you do a dungeon with randoms and then permanently parting ways afterwards. Slightly melancholic, but gaming at its best.
The coolest person I met was some female Blood Elf around the time of the BC release who claimed to be a male neckbeard at firstbut turned out to be a 28 year old female politician from Sweden. We talked every day but after she kept asking me about myself I chickened out because I was 13 and didn't want her to find out since she was pressuring me to buy a webcam because she didn't want to be the only one to talk on camera

How come Sonic games don't translate well into 3D?
Take Sonic Generations for Example, some of the best stages are the side scrolling ones, while all the 3D ones were just hand holding QTEs over and over again.
Why can't sonic accept the fact that Sonic games are just better off as side scrollers and the fans are tired of seeing failed attempts repeated over and over again?

I know that's not entirely true for 3-D. A lot of mistakes need you to go backward to get back on path. Also that 3-D stages switch into 2-D.

3D Sonic should be controlling/playing like a racing game with combat elements.
I don't know why they haven't done this but it's so obvious.
Instead we get Sonic on rails, or not-zelda sandboxes that don't work.

Sonic Generations does play like a racing game with combat elements. At slow/stopped speeds Sonic controls like a platformer (press right on the control stick to turn 90 degrees and walk that direction), but once he's going fast enough to put his arms behind him he controls like an F-Zero car (press right on the control stick to drift right). He'll even stick to invisible rails on paths once he's going fast enough.

It's designed in a way where it tries to make Doom "too hard", such as stronger and faster enemies, reloading and faking the enmies taking too much time.
It's as if the mod was less about good gameplay design and more about its appeal on being an edgier Doom.

I'm looking some games where clean air is a resource.
What I mean is something like the surface stages in the Metro series where gas masks must be used or you will die, and air filter canisters must be replaced. Although I prefer more open games, stage-based games like Metro are okay too. One of my favorite examples of this is scavenging valuable materials from the black swamp tiles in neo scavenger and having to replace the air filters in your gas mask.
I'm not really looking for underwater/space games but if you have a good suggestion I may give it a try

Really loved this game, but damn there just is not enough content. Could've done a lot more with it. Check out Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead if you liked Neo Scavenger. It's free and has a lot of content. There's a few places and enemies that require breathing protection to enter/fight effectively.
