What I want to know is what people are mapping there controls to. I tried having accelerate on the right trigger, bumpers for air brakes, and put weapons on buttons, it's comfy, but air brakes are variable so if you don't put them on the triggers you are at a disadvantage. But I can't find a comfortable config with the airbrakes on the triggers.

They need to make a randomizer mod for it, so you can actually get some good materia before the end of the 2nd disk.

Of course, I'm current replaying it.

99% of the actual skill in fighting games is fundamentals and stuff like timing/spacing for combos, not being able to memeroize inputs or preform a complicated input for a specific move.

Simplifying inputs makes it easier for newer players to adjust without lowering the skill ceiling by more then a negliable degree.
