The only way that these mechanics would matter is if monster health was dramatically lowered, and if they were pathetically lacking in durability, there would only be even more reason to rush in and pound them to death before they get a chance to ready up. Stealth in MH has literally, and I mean literally, never mattered i this franchise, precisely for the fact that your opening hit does almost nothing unless you're doing a hame setup, in which case your most important detail is remembering to sleep your target before bombing it.

They wouldn't even necessarily have to ramp down monster health, just ramp up sweet spot damage or pre-fight preparations.

Quite honestly stealth not mattering in a hunting game has always been its second biggest flaw, next to the monsters not interacting with each other at all

because it will make the game easier. This one of tose times where you have to chose design over realism. They going the toher way will mess the flow and design the game is popular for.

Modern day artists don't have any respect for aesthetics man. Why is everyone afraid of contrast and the dark shadows?

Original Age of Empires was the best looking Isometric RTS games of all time. Those sprites are so sharp and the terrain is so vibrant. I can still go back to Age of Empires and enjoy the hell out of it despite the datedness just because of how perfectly they nailed the aesthetics. The soundtrack is also exceptional.

I feel like this is a trend that is destroying most modern games.

There are very few developers who seem to have a sense of aesthetic.

My big personal grievance is what they did to Haven & Hearth. Comparing to Legacy to the new Engine makes you realize they went full retard.

The pro and Xbox one x versions will be identical because of this.

It's 30 fps on PS4 PRO as well. Based on what I've seen of the game, it looks like shit and there is no reason why it wouldn't run at 60 fps. I think it's simply a case of bad optimization.

Tried playing Baldur's Gate 2. Thought at first it was going to be a fun Dungeons and Dragons type of adventure. I loved the character creation, since it was so complex, but the minute I got into the actual game and started hearing the voice-acting which is like a satire of the most pathetic "fantasy" style ever, I knew it would be garbage.

Made it through the first dungeon and got above ground, turned it off, and never went back. It was just awful.

It would be a million times better simply if it was a turn-based game.
