Mechanically and artistically, these two games are, without question, the best platformers of all time. You cannot debate this.
A few simple skills with a high ceiling for mastery, coupled with beautiful art direction, level design, level and gameplay variety.
The soundtracks are also among the best and most memorable in gaming. DKC2 is David Wise's with not a single bad song on the OST.
DKC2 is an improvement on the original in every way but the original is still a 9/10 on its own
If you weren't old enough to play them on SNES or even Gameboy you have no excuse not to.

I consider DKC2 to be a perfect game, and it's the only game I hold to that standard alongsideTetris.
Is that acceptable? I really can't think of a flaw in DKC2.

HELLO; EVERYONE!
I asked this question a few days ago, but got no reply and I am REALLY curious.
I beat Dark Souls 3 and I am dying to know this. Already beaten the game twice, but don't feel like grinding it over again, it's fun to just PvP with my maxed out character now.
My question is: what happens if I choose the 2nd ending breaking the cycle? Is the Firekeeper still at the shrine after the ending, can I travel between bonfires freely etc.?
Also, will the ending work if I already linked the first flame, but went to the Untended Graves and got the Firekeeper eyes after?

Whatever ending you choose it will always ask you in the end if you want to remain in your current game or go to ng+, ng++ etc.

I'm not even trying to be an asshole, but how is there anyone at this point that wants to own an XBONE. We all shit on each other a lot but, I see some pretty cool games coming out for the Switch and the PS4, while it sort of seems like there's nothing for Xbox. Do you guys regret your purchase? Am I just missing these games because I'm not an Xbox guy so I'm not seeing them? The Microsoft E3 presentation was so damn boring.
