Ori looked indeed pretty good. Sadly we saw no gameplay. Wanted to see what they improved/changed. Blind forest was one of my favorite metroidvanias.
Spiderman looked pretty generic, for me. I am not a fan of heavily scripted QTE games. Great graphics though.
Sonys highlight was a remake of an already remastered ps2 game.
Microsoft showed some decent multiplats, some of them are worth pirating probably. Nintendo told us metroid prime 4 is in development and metroid 2 is coming out in 3 months.

It's very fun for the first 6-8 hours, before you discover that there's nothing more to the game than what you've already seen. None of the game's issues can be fully resolved via modding, so just grab the unofficial patches.

Skyrims better than most AAA trash realised in the last 7 years so yes it is. Don't listen to the faggots here. They suck Witcher 3 off routinely despite every complaint they have about Skyrim being 20 times worse in Witcher.

Special Edition is better but has less mod support currently.

Mods aren't as good as in Oblivion, I recommend getting them as you play, if you have any issues with the game. Monster Mod and Immersive Creatures for a start.

Can I get an honest answer as to why this game is so good? I've tried picking up all theee Witcher games and the combat is what holds me back, the story being merely okay doesn't help either. Is it really just the tits?

It's ok. Be aware it's got a lot of broken bits. But when it's going, it's great.

Hopefully now that the Switch's popularity is established the multiplat AAA devs will dust off their Switch dev kits and develop with Switch in mind.
I feel that having console-quality games on the go is a real selling point, even if the graphics are somewhat gimped. Hopefully devs feel the same way.
