Has any of your friends played Nier:Automata?

It's story time faggots because one of my friends just finished Automata today and it's both hilarious and depressing how he handled it.
All I can think of is that Yoko Taro is one magnificent bastard and I love him.

>friend starts playing Automata and is streaming it
>he starts the bullet hell section at ending E
>has trouble with it as everyone else
>after failing set amount of tries, you get help from other players
>he accepts them
>fucker is still taking hits
>close to 20 hits before he finished, apparently you can't run out of help from players it seems
>he sees ending E
>then comes the promt to send messages to other players
>he chooses "No"
>the fucker actually REFUSED to send any motivational message to other players
>I can't fucking believe this shit
>I was planning to give him a friendly lecture if he refused to sacrifice his save but this didn't even cross my mind
>I lose my shit and start sending him messages that what the fuck has he done
>he is confused and who wouldn't be? I can't really spoil him what he has missed
>friend silently plays the section again
>only taking 3 hits, not bad this time around
>sees the ending
>sends the message to other players
>then nothing
>he is again back at Title Screen
>I'm confused and so is he. What the fuck happened? He didn't even get the chance to sacrifice his save?

My friend is willing to trade my GTX Gigabyte G1 Gaming 970 with his 980ti except I have to pay WITH the 970, but neither he nor do I know what the market will price this transaction.
I can't find the GPUS on the market and we're still deciding what's a fitting price, on the contrary I have a guy selling me a GTX 970 to SLI it in my system and he's asking for $200.
