At first I was enjoying this game and wondered how anyone could've passed it up, but 300+ hours later I am glad it fucking failed
>awful gun balance leading to SMGs outranging and outperforming every other weapon
>during some updates they dont even tweak any of the weapons so you are stuck waiting two agonizing months
>launched with around half the content the first game had at the end of it's run
>all the "free" content has just been maps or modes from previous games
>new titan is just a mishmash of assets already in the game and ruined the game's sandbox
>lowered time to kill so you die when someone sneezes at you
>new abilities make the game completely broken like stim, phase, and grapple
>titans are pidgeonholed into moba-like roles instead of having full customization
>still using the awful COD netcode from fucking 2007
I will say, the campaign was great and I do like the idea of injecting more personality into the titans even though it cost them flexibility, but god damn the game is just frustrating when every single match is someone using the CAR with phase or stim as their tactical.

it's the only game on the market that's actually fast. Not perfect but it's fun oh well :)
>>388881192
Going fast doesn't matter when the balance has been out of whack since day 1. Also
>:)

The AI in that game is trash

EDS and WC2004 are practically the same game. One just has a new soundtrack and Yata.
Are there any modern equivalents to Outrun? A game just about driving well and taking in the sights? Not necessarily about racing.

>>388880265
No, but it's not like it's hard to compete in that field.

will there still be anime bizarre jelly shirts?
This game was too talky. Supergiant has always been story heavy, but it never felt like it was actually breaking the flow. Bastion gave you lore while you played without stopping you, or gave it briefly during quiet time at the Bastion. Transistor did the same and actually gave me incentive to learn more about the Camarada by leveling up skills. Pyre made me mash space for ten hours and play the game for two. Still enjoyed the game, but vomited up most of the story after it was force fed to me.
Also, Pyre thread.
Music was top tier though
>>388879983
I really enjoyed the variety and the direction. But none of the tracks really got me hooked.
>>388879826
That's how visual novels work - the dialogue IS the core gameplay. And the moment I figured out that this game was a visual novel i knew I wasn't going to like it. It's literally the opposite in story-telling compared to bastion or transistor.
This is the greatest MMO ever conceived.
It will never be released, or will otherwise fail after release.

How will BRs destroy this one?
I give it a week until there's a Nazi empire
>>388879778
You've pretty much hit the nail on the head, OP. It will be released, but it'll fall quite short of what they originally intended.
To be fair, the people who bought into the game are mostly delusional. I see a lot of similarities between Elyria and Star Citizen. The forums are a fucking joke, they've got backers on the official forums posting about coding AI for horses so they can react to smell or coding geneology so your descendents can develop diseases and other utterly useless garbage that could not and should not be in a video game.
I'd be pretty happy if we just got a decent medieval sandbox where I could build simple things like houses, grow vegetables in a field somewhere and occasionally go out on hunts in the forest.
Post GOOD videogame fanart.

You're so beautiful, Panther.
I love Reisen!

Man, despite their faults TES games have been so good at filling the player with childlike wanderlust when starting out.
>step out of sewer
>look around at a huge breathtaking world
>instantly killed by a level 20 mudcrab

I still cant believe i sold mine.

Althou it did have only one good game for it.

Couldn't you plug those into a PC and use it as an actual midi controller
>>388880008
I would not know.
It was just a gimmicky controller.
It didn't have any actual sound hardware in it.
>not just playing IIDX
Do you think celebrities in this profession are experienced enough to be hired as ganetesters for video games like yakuza?
>>388878854
No idea, but Anri is pretty chill and is bff with Hitomi; who could destroy you in Street Fighter using an arcade stick with crazy ass combos.
Plus, from her instagram uploads; she comes across as a fun person. So she probably WOULD make a good game tester.
I'd use a heat move on her if you know what I mean.
>you will never meet Anri
