Is PVP in this game dead?
>>380155332
No.
checked the mid 30 SL range a week ago, it's still alive
>everyone is jumping ship for the new DBZ fighter
>it's just GGXrd with Dragon Ball characters
Well, that was sudden. I'm sorry, I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through.
You want fighting games to be good, but you don't want them to change. How can fighting games be good if they're not allowed to... evolve?
>just GGXrd with Dragon Ball characters
Don't kid yourself.
And these posers... No, there's only one path to good fighting games. The FGC's extinction.
Yeah, I remember when GGXrd had tag team 3-on-3 action, just like Polygon said.
Itty bitty baby, itty bitty boat, if I roll trips I'll buy the jugg arcana, no joke.

>>380156563
what's the point of playing a pokemon game if you cant go online with your pokes?
>>380157379
I only go online to trade pokes and I only do that to obtain ones I can't catch myself. I doubt that's a thing with Ooblets.
Also, I think this artstyle is kinda cool.
The last game you played has the main character replaced with a Waffen SS officer
how would this affect the game?
>Hitman
A special Zyklon B releasing rubber duck?

stellaris not much
RE: Revelations
So basically Jill goes back to blonde and instead of the wetsuit it's an SS outfit.
Anyone else have trouble believing arcades were a real thing that were actually big at the time, and there were people who grew up doing most of their gaming at arcades, rather than at home?
I can understand looking at history of home gaming and stuff and seeing how arcades could have become popular, but it's just such a weird concept to try and envision nowadays. It seems like a lot of what you see or hear about arcades would be the product of some imagined idealistic nostalgia, the same way people imagine the 90s in general to be so great.
Well Japan still has arcades and some of the arcade machines even have cards and whatnot for you to save your game progress.
>>381706109
Arcades used to have games with the BEST graphics and the BEST sound and unique games that wouldn't work on a home console at the time.
Being a standalone machine allowed them to have a fuck ton more power than your average gaming console well into 90s.
Plus they had pizza and prizes and if you wanted competitive PvP gaming the arcade was the ONLY place you could get that.
Hell if you just wanted some fun CO-OP the arcade was basically the only place to get that for a LONG time.
Consoles got better around the Xbox era and online game took off. The rest is history.

Are you that young, or am I this old?
What do you think of it so far?
What are you looking forward to?
Can Nintendo beat the Zelda hype generated last year?
Are you comfy?

Why are people obssesed with fusing cancers?
>that one game you loved as a child
>look it up now
>all the reviews shit on it
>actually read the reviews
>nobody knew how to play the game
Goddamn, almost every review is exactly the same, complaining about how everything takes a million shots to kill with the default weapon. Somehow missing the fact that it's the weakest option in the game and that you're supposed to be using the other limited ammunition types carefully. Or missing out the part where you should be arresting people whenever possible instead of killing them.
Most aggravating is that there's a number of reviews stating the game forces you into a no-win situation when running out of a necessary ammunition type in the first few levels. It's especially aggravating because the game spawns ammunition around the stage every time you run out, in multiple areas even.
>>380154728
So the news here is that reviews have always sucked at games?
now you know how I felt when I read the reviews for NIER
the first NIER that is
>>380155076
I haven't seen any of the old reviews, the reviews I saw actually came from this decade.

When did you grow out of graphics and "muh 60 fps".
