I waited nearly 15 years to see a sequel. Each year at e3 I waited and wanted. Then eventually after shit like Watch Dogs and Asscreed Unity, and especially after Watch Dogs 2 I didn't even want it to be made, because I was so scared they would just ruin it.
Its finally announced for real this time, and I just don't know what to feel. Its clearly set in the same world, its going to be fun adventuring but, there is a lot that worries me. The first game didn't need needless cursing to make a point, it simply had good dialogue and a very interesting story. People here can harp about female characters or whatever, but Jade was an actual fantastic character that didn't have/nor need any kind of fanfare about her being "Strong female video game character". She just was. She was a photo-journalist who was trying to uncover the corruption and possible alien control of the government. I've been wanting this game for so long, but I have no idea if it is going to be anything at all what I want.

I've bought the indie title "survivalist" on steam, and played it for a few days, but now i am stuck on day 20 and i need to complete the game to unlock the cheat menu. I really like the game, but i don't want to do it all over again without this cheat menu.

Therefore I have desided to reach out to you guys in hopes that one of you have a save game laying around inwhich you either beaten the game or in the final stages of the "completing the game" quest.

Fallout 4 was a better game than New Vegas and no amount of "Todd is a liar because of things we imagined" should change that. but it's going to anyway, and everyone will agree that telling is superior to showing and refusing to notice subtlety in something means that something is bad.

Rule #1 of writing is "show, don't tell", and yet New Vegas doesn't just tirelessly tell instead of showing, the things it does show actively contradict what it's telling you because nobody even CONSIDERED how they might be 'showing' the story through gameplay. It also has the worst antagonist in the series and one of the worst antagonists of the past 20 years of video games. Having more quotable sentences doesn't mean it's better-written than Fallout 4, and it isn't.
