So about Metroid Prime 4.
I wish they would retain the gameplay of Metroid Prime but call it something different, make it have a different story. Prime 3 closed everything having to do with Dark Samus and the phazon, you LITERALLY had to blow up the sentient planet that was the source of all phazon in the universe, the series is named like that after the Metroid Prime, a phazon mutated Metroid, which is now deader than dead. It died, its planet died, its spooky mutant substance died, phazon was done for good and the next logical step was to exterminate the Metroids (this is where Metroid II was supposed to begin, before there was a Metroid Prime 4).

I hope this isn't some Alien 4 type cop-out where they "revive" the phazon with magic CHOZO TECHNOLOGY or something.

I was actually just about to make this thread to say the same exact thing.

Supposedly prime 4 is only a working title so there is a solid chance they will change it. Prime works perfectly as a self contained trilogy

A lot of people will be getting 4K TVs in 2018, and then even more in 2019

6 years from PS4, 3 years from PS4 Pro feels right

I liked the yarn, partially because of the cute unwinding effect with a lot of stuff. But, hey, I'm willing to give this a shot. Woolly World was fun (if easy) after all.

The hyper-realistic coins right next to the fuzzy cotton characters does look very strange.

hey there /v/,

recently i had this idea where me and a few friends could passively play one of those large battle simulators like UEBS and watch it like a sport. then we would play a drinking game where we bet on who will win in a given fight.

does /v/ have any suggestions for passive style games that we could bet on/ play a drinking game with?

I said I wouldn't buy a Switch after the WiiU incident, but damn Nintendo, you're driving a hard bargain here.

I'm legit interested in this game, looks great. With the large comfy worlds, the costumes, the expansive moveset, the collecting and the transformations, this is like the Banjo sequel I always wanted. Too bad the rest of the Switch library looks uninteresting for me, but that's 1 game I certainly wanna play.

Is Nintendo getting their mojo back after the shitfests that were the Wii and WiiU eras? If Smash 5 is Melee-like, I'll actually pick up a Switch. For the time being, I'll stick to my PS4. But this game does look great.
