This new Monster Hunter looks gross, and im not only talking about stetics, im talking about all the posibilities that could bring this new enviromental shit.
Besides, all the old weapons are back, with their caracteristic sharpness and some movements enhanced.
The carving and looting is faster, true, and i love it, it´s a big improvement like the constant carving from 3DS tittles. Which was praised since you can just carve the shit out of the monsters asap and then start doing shit with your teammates.
Patterns are WAY more scripted, but also, way more fluid, so why is ppl crying about? Remember Rathalos in MH1? Fly, fireball-poisonclaw, land, watch for the player, fireball-charge-taunt. I prefer this new script with more patterns than the old ones, that were simply, plain and easily cheeseable for everyone. And yes, admit it, everyone took it first Rajang horn in 2G abusing it, cause you can and youll take advantage of the situations, same like gravios, basarios, diablos, etc....
And dont even mention psicoshit or paintball being better than firefly pls, cause nobody that was not a shitter ever use paintballs, we know the patterns of the monsters cause they are the same guys, we need to adapt, in fact with all the scripts, patterns, behaviours and shit i highly doubt that we´ll constantly need this firefly shit.
Now step it up, 4U was "nice", in despite of the fact that it lacks of endgame, the story was shit and the rank G was a mistake. X was just anime shit all aroud for the weeb playerbase that STILL lurk this game.
Remember that fag named Sephiroth that only played Long Sword in MH1-2-2G-3RD? Yeah bro, he´s getting sick with all these shadows, maymay-ninja cuts and jumping around like a fag, but now, mh has returned to it´s roots, and we should be fucking hyped for it.

What the fuck did I just played?
Everything was hamfisted, story made so little sense, voice acting was horrendous. And an unbeatable final boss? Why?
Gameplay was great though.
Is the 2nd game like this? I have the HD collection but I really don't feel like going through it if it's like the first.

The gameplay is shaping up to be creative paradise with the easy to use mechanics.
