Sega of Japan is at fault. If you read the whole history and the interview with Kalinske, SoJ did everything to prevent Sega of America becoming so successful.

Sony just copied Sega of America's strategy at that time and since forever, they captured Europe ever since.

The same thing is happening right now with Nintendo, NoA is nothing more than a porch monkey for NoJ, the only thing saving them is the nostalgia and childhood boners that people have Nintendo.

It at least offers something more interesting than the two new ones. My post ended up being more about the shitty stage-selection on Wii U in general either way.

Wii U tried to make stages with eight players in mind and whatever the fuck they figured they could get away with on more powerful hardware. 3DS was still designed for 4 players and is working with system limitations, so they don't get too crazy about the gimmicks and try to let the level design hold them up like the older games had to. If we get stages from Smash 4 in the next Smash, I really hope we get more from 3DS than Wii U. Arena Ferox and Prism Tower are both fucking great and I even like 3DS's Mute City and think Balloon Fight is a funny fuck around with friends kind of stage.

Because I'm wise enough to know sex mods aren't worth the effort for they never look good.
