What's the consensus, /v/?
I just looked it up. It looks cool but not worth $20.
why when a better game exists?
>>389171707
It's okay, great style, pretty tough to 100% too.
11 years later, what really went wrong?
Devs got fucked by the publisher right?
>make game with absurdly ambitious ideas for the time
>get fucked by extremely short dev time
>team got split in half in the middle of development so that they could make those dumb Wii spinoffs
>forced to release the game for the holiday season instead of delaying what they knew was a broken piece of shit
The game's development basically just had a plethora of issues stemming from dumb publisher decisions and overly ambitious ideas. I remember when the game was supposed to have a day/night cycle.
>>389378052
>team got split in half in the middle of development so that they could make those dumb Wii spinoffs
It was more like
>Split team so one half makes the Wii version of Sonic '06
>Realize Wii can't actually handle the game
>Have to scramble and make a bunch of spinoffs to compensate
A REALLY BIG FUCKINGSiege ThreadCOMING RIGHT UP
>>389171540
Stopped playing 5 months ago, should I pick it back up ?

See for yourself. There's a lot of neat shit, most important for me is bloody lighting changes. Real ones, not the shitty fixes they deployed beforehand
>>389171679
Are you retarded? You either do it or don't not just ask some random fuck on the internet. Do you walk down the street and ask random people if you should take a shit or not? Kill yourself idiot
how does this rank against mgs1?
If I had to delete one from existence I'd choose ff7 since there are a shit load of other JRPGS and so few stealth games.
>>389171285
not comparable, since one is an RPG and the other an action game with stealth elements.
>>389171527
That and it was the beginning of the end for this franchise's integrity.
YOU ARE IN THE BEDROOM.
YOU SEE CRAB NICHOLSON.
HE HAS NO MITTENS.
HIS CLAWS ARE MENACING.
EXITS ARE BATHROOM, KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM, AND CRAB NICHOLSON’S ULTIMATE LAIR OF AWESOMENESS.
I hook up the N64 in my inventory and we play Mario Kart together

Reminder that if you beat CNES:TA using the rubberbands you're a fucking casual.
>>389171137
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
STOP BRINGING THIS GAME UP
IT'LL BE RERELEASED ON PS4 EVENTUALLY
>youre not allowed to play the exact same game except with more effects and features because it makes you edgy!
retarded board is retarded
You fit right in.
>being edgy is the problem
>not the shit code or overall features being shit
you can tell a brutal doom fan is underage, when the concept of "good game design" is invisible to them.
>more features
>Same game
Why do people say Nintendo is for kids when most kids don't care any Nintendo anymore and their core audience are people in their late twenties and early thirties?
>>389170953
Because most of those people still live with their parents.
Like you.
>>389170953
because those people are just tall ass children
Because splatoon is a game literally made for children and played by man children.
I have a dilema /v/. Bloodborne is only 8 dollars now on ps4, and i want it. The oy problem is, to put it simply, im bad. Ive only played a little of ds2 and i got my ass handed to me. So is it worth buying?
>>389170634
Are you me? I only have DS2 on PS3 and was shit at it (seemed cool I was just terrible), but just got Bloodborne for PS4 for $8 because everyone said it was cool. I swear to fuck if /v/ lied to me again...
>>389171697
Have you played it yet? I need to know if its possible for me to play
>>389170634
Yes, the whole point of the series is to get your ass handed to you because almost all of us have been having our hands held and mindlessly button mashing our way through video games since the GCN/PS2/Xbox.
I spent an entire day getting through the undead burg of DS1 and am extremely grateful for it. Be patient and just fucking do it
>this thread again
anyone want to play rev2
>Absolver is the greatest fighting game ever made because I don't have to learn combos!
He-help m-meee!
Get good
You must go fast.
get a feel of how the plasma ball physics and you should be fine. they work just like they did in sonic 3.
Im about to buy my 3rd ps4 just for bloodborne. CONVINCE ME NOT TOO
Its a really fucking good game like one of the best games ive ever played. Just not worth paying 300 dollars to play it.
>>389169813
What happened to the first two?
>>389170273
I bought my first ps4 for $250. Played bloodborne, beat it and sold my ps4 for like 200
bought my second ps4 for like 300 and played bloobdonre before selling it to my best friend for 150
I reallllly wana play bloodbrone agin
This worth getting discounted on steam right now?
Is the Denuvo shit removed?
its pretty good, right up until the game hits a wall and ends because the jews at square enix cut the game in half.
and then because it didnt sell wel because of square enix bullshit they will never release the second half.
Fuck, i'm still mad.
>>389169528
Square Enix never removes Denuvo.
Wot I liked:
-Prague is fun to explore on your own
-the big bank was cool
-more vertical space overall
-visuals are sometimes nice
Wot I didn't like:
-gunplay is pretty much the same
-new augs are pretty much all lethal focus besides Blink-Lite
-only 1 real boss fight
-said boss fight is at the game's end
-boss is basically just Barret from HR but in a maze of tripwires
-story is dull as shit
-most of the new characters are annoying
-Breach Mode is pants-on-head retarded
-story will arguably never be finished
It's worth $15, but it really doesn't have the draw that HR did.
I have Lost Planet 3 and Metro 2033 in my Steam library... apparently.
Are either worth playing?
>>389169161
metro is
lost planet 3 isnt
>>389169287
This.

>some people still believe that Nintendo will ever port games on PC
Emulator people do it for them
>>389377084
We have Citra and Dolphin for that.
>>389377084
Why is Marina so cute?
Have you played the demo yet?
Are you going to buy her game /v/?
>>388664126
I love Junko!
I thought the demo was really impressive aesthetically, and I'm excited to hear more of the game's OST. Over all it was a polished, pleasant experience, and the production value has clearly increased.
>>388664192
Hey Junkofag.
