The game's development basically just had a plethora of issues stemming from dumb publisher decisions and overly ambitious ideas. I remember when the game was supposed to have a day/night cycle.

Yes, the whole point of the series is to get your ass handed to you because almost all of us have been having our hands held and mindlessly button mashing our way through video games since the GCN/PS2/Xbox.

I spent an entire day getting through the undead burg of DS1 and am extremely grateful for it. Be patient and just fucking do it

I bought my first ps4 for $250. Played bloodborne, beat it and sold my ps4 for like 200

bought my second ps4 for like 300 and played bloobdonre before selling it to my best friend for 150

Wot I liked:
-Prague is fun to explore on your own
-the big bank was cool
-more vertical space overall
-visuals are sometimes nice

Wot I didn't like:
-gunplay is pretty much the same
-new augs are pretty much all lethal focus besides Blink-Lite
-only 1 real boss fight
-said boss fight is at the game's end
-boss is basically just Barret from HR but in a maze of tripwires
-story is dull as shit
-most of the new characters are annoying
-Breach Mode is pants-on-head retarded
-story will arguably never be finished

It's worth $15, but it really doesn't have the draw that HR did.

I thought the demo was really impressive aesthetically, and I'm excited to hear more of the game's OST. Over all it was a polished, pleasant experience, and the production value has clearly increased.
