this should be clear. Its time for a new tenchu game. Tell me about a game where you can make a character and sneak around online with a grappling hook fucking clinging to the ceiling and running up walls stealth killing other people . Not exactly assassins creed was a little too story driven with a bunch of side quests n shit. I just wanna piss people off by sneaking around in bushes on ceilings, making people chase me and curling up into a ball in a corner as they run by trying to protect my teams target kinda thing.Id like to see it as an online type of thing with a million "cheap' tactics where hit and run is the ideal, with smoke bombs and caltraps and poison darts. But ambush and face to face sword fighting is still an option. 4 man teams where two people scout ahead at the beginning of the match to try and mark the targets location and set up traps for an escape.there would still be AI guards that if they spot you you show up on their map kinda thing.

So I'm just now playing through it after confirming with Prey that my microwave won't blow up and after beating clockwork mansion I have to say that it's been prety dissapointing so far outside gameplay part.
Maybe I just have some kind of pink glasses over the first game, but I don't remember the story in it being almost filler-like. Doesn't help that the whole killer part and 'villains with attitude' appearing almost out of thin air seem prety retarded.
Or maybe it feels that way because I started with Corvo and the game isn't tuned to him very well.
Nevertheless I have to ask, does it get any better from the story perspective?

I never played dishonoured 1. And I started Dishonored 2 about 4 days ago playing ad Emily.
I agree that it's very under whelming. Im in the level just after the Dust district. I think it's mission 8 or 9. The powers are boring and so limited. And enemies are too weak. The combat system is too restraining compared to say, Bioshock 2.
It's clear the game is ment to be a full on stealth game and not the combat game I've been treating it as.

yo I just beat alan wake today, it was pretty fun
though I still have the two special episodes to play through
I thought it was pretty fun, anyone else agree?
though I felt like they threw a bit too much ammo at you at certain times, and you barely, if ever, run out unless the game deliberately gives you nothing
like that sequence where you had to defend the helicopter before it started up, I was able to beat it using nothing more than the revolver and a handful of flares
I kinda wish nightmare was unlocked right at the start, though, since I'll probably never replay the story
