Deus Ex? More like Deuce Sex, because this game is fucking shit.

I start the game, and some old guys are talking about some boring shit. Something about a plague, I guess. The only cool part was when they were talking about me being a supersoldier.

My hopes were dashed as soon as the game started. Considering I'm a "nano-aug" (what the fuck does that even mean?) the fact that I die in a handful of pistol shots is shitty.

Guns and melee in this game are both broken. It takes forever to line up a shot and bullets do laughable damage.

I couldn't even bear to finish playing the first level. Fuck this game, and fuck /v/ for calling this turd a great game.

They mention that the no emotions rule was created and enforced when some mission failed horribly (I believe it was A2's) but most YoRHa units ignore it.
2B probably doesn't give a shit about it either and is just using it as an excuse.

Oh uhh I mean MONSTER HUNTER SUCKS 3DS SUCKS EVERYTHING SUCKS.

Generations is basically 4u with some new special arts and skills for each weapon. It's sort of cool because you can have a ton of different playstyles within each weapon, but there's some balancing issues with it all. Some purists will also say that the skills make the game look too flashy I guess.

But even so, I'd recommend 4u if it's your first Monster Hunter game. It has a nice storyline that drives the story along, while teaching you the basics of the game at a decent pace. Generations just throws your in there, which is good if you've already played Monster Hunter before.

As for online, I'm not sure. I'll assume that generations has more people playing since its newer.

Didn't get to play yesterday but I'm looking forward to getting my shit rekt this afternoon. I can't combo with Eliza for shit.

Anyone have tips for Bob's? Like combos to try and learn or anything? I'm ranking up as him and winning but I still get fucked up by people who really know what they're doing.

Why would anyone play a game where one combo pushing your opponent to the wall can win a game?

Step 1 is don't run out of supplies and money. The endgame goal is finding the exit from the zee to the surface

I'm somewhat new to the game too and making money does seem pretty hard, or at least slow.

Port reports are enough to keep you supplied. Just keep exploring and eventually you find some events on islands that give money/rewards.

Also, don't let your Terror reach 100. That's gg right there

Should I just trial and error until I find good trades to make money or is there some better way? Most quests/requests just give me stuff but not money. Also thank you kind anon for responding to stupidity.

Only buy up to T2 or if you're struggling T3 gear and only that for mage. (everyone else gets T2)
Save Apples until beating Taranza, which unlocks Drawcia gear for the mage
Buy said gear.
Rip the game a new asshole.
Use visitors if you need a Sword Hero.
Plat all quests if you need apples for the True Final Battle (which is pricey).
