How hard are the puzzles in this game if I'm a stupid asshole? I don't have problems with basic problem solving and connecting dots, but I'm a complete brainlet when it comes to thinking outside the box and unorthodox solutions.

They aren't very hard if you take your time exploring every part if the room and seeing what the characters say. VLR is much harder than 999 though.

The puzzles are pretty easy, just search the whole room for clues and connecting the dots is a piece of cake. I only had some issues with the true ending ones.

So I want to have my GF(ah ha ha ha) play FFVIII what's the best way to play it now. Have "modern" gaming PC, am I emulating the ps1 version, downloading the steam version emulating the PSP version?
How does one play FF8 now?
