>he doesn't know
Was he right about leaving the beasts alone, or do you think he used "dindu nuffin" logic?
Who cares, video games are for children
>>381412145
Depends. if he wasn't laying about the beasts being basically in a big enclosed space unable to leave and harm anyone besides people who willingly enter despite warnings he was right.
He knew more than he was supposed to and felt guilty.
Either he found about the Church's implied involvement/poisoning of Old Yharnam or he knew that without Insight beasts weren't malicious but just acting on instinct and should be pitied.

If a game has a demo version, do you play it before buying?
Pretty much always. Especially if the demo is for a game was gonna buy anyways, sometimes they give bonus goodies
Surely. Especially if they include content not found in the full game, functionally being standalones.
If you haven't played Pink Hour and Pink Heaven, you're really missing out. Do it now!
>>381412308
>standalones
What games do this? I remember that C&C Tiberian Sun demo had two missions that didn't appear in the full version of the game.
Anyone picked it up this week? How is it as far as relatively low-budget SRPGs go?
There are some minor pacing issues as even a 3 v 3 fight can last around 20 minutes, but that can be attributed to the fact that the AI run the fuck away if things look unfavorable to them and heal, use buffs, heal their allies, buff their allies, and even position themselves to block enemies from approaching their weak points.
The job system is fun too as you can choose two jobs to draw skills from and change them on a whim to whatever else you want, but it gets pretty easy if you're used to SRPGs. Overall it feels like I'm playing War of the Lions again and it's nice, though I'm playing it on the Vita.
I was gonna pick it up but damn, I didn't know it was a full priced $60, thought it would be $40 for some reason. I'll definitely pick it up when it drops in price, not enough Tactics games out on PS4

>thought it would be $40 for some reason.
That's the Vita version. I got mine for $32 with prime.
Are you going to play her game /v/?
What are your biggest red flags when buying a game?
>Loli on the cover
No, thank you.
Unless you're explicitly referring to some no name diamond dozen Vita game, I can't think of a single one
>white male on the cover with body language displaying power and confidence
No, thank you AAA publisher, Im not your kind of dudebro consolebro
>>381411974
>Anime artstyle
>Game is made by nips
>"World bigger than Skyrim"
>crpg with voiced protagonist
>crpg with protagonist who have set backstory and personality
Have you ever experienced The Tetris Effect?

Have you ever had dreams/nightmares about video games?
not really, but I tend do dream as if I were controlling myself like in a video game
Had a nightmare I was stuck in Mario 64 once. It wasn't quite the same game though, the castle layout and the levels were all very different from normal. And also quite unfair.
No friendly NPCs anywhere. Literally every living creature was just there to kill me. I remember the new desert level being fucking horrible because it was hot as fuck and had giant sand monsters everywhere. Never made it to a fire world. I had no Mario powers or anything, no power ups either.
The worst thing was the isolation and the complete lack of any time passing, which meant I never had any idea how long I'd actually been there. Everything was blocky like an actual N64 game, but a lot of stuff looked shitty, like a badly done ROM hack. The whole thing felt like a bad ROM hack, actually. There were new enemies who were basically circles, whose eyes would just be floating in front of them staring and unblinking. That kind of unnerving low poly sort of stuff.
I kept dying over and over, and after what felt like months I started having panic attacks about there being nobody to talk to and no way to escape. I felt like the only way out was to beat the game, but that felt impossible. I just kept dying over and over and respawning in the castle courtyard for some reason.
Then I woke up.
Looking at this it reads like a shitty creepypasta but it was a genuine nightmare I had.
Now I kind of want to make a rom hack out of it.
>>381412516
sounds pretty spooky
>Looking at this it reads like a shitty creepypasta but it was a genuine nightmare I had.
At least you didn't mention any hyper-realistic graphics or a mario without any eyes or anything like that.
What games let me embody that deep sea diver aesthetic?
F4 Far harbor
Any good games where I can be BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN?
>>381411476
Arkham Knight, if you are looking for an Adam West fix
PC version has a mod that puts the PS4 exclusive skin in the game, if you have the classic batman dlc pack
>>381411476
first two Arkham games are fantastic
the other two are alright, but skippable
Alright, discussion time.
Do you prefer digital games, or discs? Why?
>>381411304
At first I wasn't for all digital but it's so convenient not having to make room for a bunch of cases and shit. Also makes it easier when moving out.
Physical games aren't worth the room it takes to store them.
>>381411304
>put digital game on disk
>put disk game on digital
They are one in the same
