For every minute you play a game, that is a minute you can't use to play some other game.
In your opinion, what games have opportunity costs that are too high? In other words, what are some games that are fun to play, but they take too much time away from being able to play other games that are just as deserving of your time?
For me, it was Eve Online. Great game, but after about 8 months I found that I missed the peak player experience of about 7 other games and once I finally got around to playing them, the community in that game was in decline (Dark Souls).

It's pretty enjoyable. Some nice customization for your lads. If you enjoy strategy games, have patience, and don't mind losing until you learn the game you might like it. It's similar to Mount & Blade in that you lead a gang of guys and outfit them with gear and level them up, as well as traveling the world doing random tasks. It's similar to Xcom in that you're gonna lose some of your dudes, so don't get too attached and for gods sake invest in good headgear and shields.

You can murder villages in this game, but you can't rape any of the women.
Sam in Mount and Blade, when you take female peasants or nobles as prisoners, you can't rape them.
Really breaks the immersion. Is there a mod to either BB or M&B that allows me to rape my female captives?

How do you guys feel about Parallel Worlds? It's a massive hack/overhaul of A Link to the Past.
I first played it when it came out and thought it was too hard, didn't get far at all. Played Remodel (an easier version) a few years ago and quit after three terrible, linear, piss-easy dungeons with no substance whatsoever. Just picked up the original again and boy am I loving it. There are a couple of really cryptic things that I had to look up, but I've managed to get through most of it without any help. I'm nearing the end of the game and right now it may be my favorite Zelda hack.

With MGS1. Play them in release order, not chronological. The HD collection for ps3 and 360 is excellent it has the substance version of MGS2 (with the hundreds of short VR and extra missions, the version of MGS3 with the 3d camera that transforms the game and the ports of the original msx2 versions of Metal Gear 1 and 2, and Peace Walker.
