As Labor Day comes to a close, let's talk about /v/'s favorite blue collar heroes. No billionaire adventurers or intrepid royalty, no professional soldiers or mercenaries, just working class guys that became heroes whether on or off the job.

Starting with the most iconic of them all.

Time has passed since the game's release so what are your thoughts about it? Do you find it to be good or bad?

The game's pretty good overall even if it has some problems.
>The gameplay seems fine, for the most part anyway. I'm aware that the jump mechanic and all that is different but once I got used to it, I never really faced any problem with it. I hope new people to the franchise won't find it to be that difficult. Ice physics still felt wonky. Fuck the new jet ski controls outside of time trials though.
>The music is good. Though some of them aren't on par with the original, it's still good by its own.
>Aside from lighting problems, the graphics seems to be decent. They improved it to fit with modern day graphics while respecting the original graphics as much as possible.
>They fixed some parts of the originals such as the gem requirement in 1 for most of the levels and how you can finally access the hidden room with ease in 2.
I'm just hoping for some new contents and fixes such as the lack of defeat quotes of some bosses at this point.

Why do people think Miyazaki = Souls? Miyzaki came to Demon's Souls later in developement and Dark Souls recycles like 90% of the stuff from Demon's.

My curiosity has gotten the best of me. You guys know how if you go past the borders of Skyrim, you see the White Gold Tower and Red Mountain?
What happens if you keep going? What happens if you continue into the void at ludicrous speeds? I'm going to find out, tonight. I'm going to keep running at insanely amped running speeds until something significant happens or I get a crash.

The purpose of this thread is both to see what happens in this Skyrim attempt (and post screenshots of what happens), and compare it to my previous run in Oblivion. If anyone was there for those runs, you'll remember that floating point errors tore apart my character model as I ran, mostly due to the lazy way Bethesda made the game. It's time to see if Skyrim is really all that different from it's predecessor.

I have reason to believe someone at valve will read this, though maybe not past this line
Hell, maybe even a few people, I have no reason to believe valve employees stay away from this site, this board in particular
I ask what comes next for the fanbase?

Besides tons of guaranteed sales, good PR would come of it along with a revival of modding and discussion

This is a decent excuse in my eyes, maybe even a combination of other reasons I failed to mention
Were it only made known to us, I myself would be satisfied with the response along with a significant part of the fanbase
Even if the reasoning were that it should work flawlessly in VR, as someone who does not yet own VR hardware or a capable machine I would not feel as upset as you may think

My hopes: The most remote acknowledgement of your oldest series, that shaped your company into what it is today
My fears: Silence.............yet again.......
