Great thread there OP
>>381721827
Yeah
It fun though
since when is the objective of paintball painting the whole combat area
Why do people feel compelled to go to threads about games that they don't like just to say that they hate it?

That's 2-3 PM Pacific Standard Time if you are referencing GMT.
Are there any games that successfully emulate a feeling of total isolation?
Alan's Lotion, the part in Ded Space after you let Ellie go alone in the gunship.
Space Engine. Set your speed to 1c and try to get anywhere. Then come to the realization that this is the fastest anything in the universe can go.

>- Enemies that had a perfect immunity to non-explosive weapons, like the Khnum and the Technopolip now have a 50% immunity to non-explosives instead.
>- On the other hand, Hard and Serious difficulties have been made more difficult. Some enemy spawns that no longer appear on Normal will appear again. Several enemies also have additional attacks on Hard and Serious! (You'll "love" the kleer.)

Are you gonna fire up BFE again /v/?
>>381584130
Probably will. It was waaay better "Doom4" and "DNF" than the official counterparts, and still a great game on its own. Not to mention a killer PC benchmarking tool thanks to it huge options menus.
Prolly gonna play around in Talos again as well.

I can't imagine them doing anything more than slashing and leap attacking.
What the fuck is it?

This game ruined any other open world game for me, I can't go back to them without feeling them shallow.
This game has an unprecedented level of attention to detail and interaction for its huge world that I don't think will ever be matched, I can't go back to games that won't let me burn an entire valley
Anyone else feels like this?
I played Wild World when I was younger--nearly a decade ago, and I did enjoy it. I liked to collect all the fish for the museum, and to slowly discover secrets.
I bought New Leaf last week looking for the same appeal. What little I found faded fast. The island allowed you to catch all the rare trophy fish and bugs almost immediately--an endless and always-available money machine. The rest of the game feels so mindless, like Farmville or some free-to-play iOS game. Just going to the island to get rich quick, and then reading through endless text until you receive either a cosmetic item or some chore that leads to a cosmetic item. Then there's the endless waiting for certain time windows. The game feels like a long bus trip without a destination.
Am I missing something? I really want to like New Leaf, but after a few days of playing I just feel jaded about the whole series. If you enjoyed it, how did it appeal to you? Where is the fun?
Animal crossing is a relaxing/comfy game. I'm not buzzwording, there's actually a Japanese name for that genre that I can't remember.

Gameplay innovation. Some things deserve to be standard.

You didn't beat the crap out of that shitty little casual when he started playing AAA rubbish.
Are you defending tank controls?

Red Letter Media is still up.
But LDO is because of a falling out and Yahtzee treating hos before bros.
>>381721716
Does Gabe do any streaming these days? He was pretty much the only reason I watched LDO in the first place and I imagine he's still more fun to listen to than Yahtzee with his girlfriend.
Now that Callie and Marie appear to have been forgotten by the inklings, what if they brought one of their prototypes as the new announcers at the Inkling Plaza?

What /v/ think about this game?
I like it. One of the five best games on the Wii.
Fantastic game. I don't know shit about tatsunoko but the crazy cast of characters was really fun. Giant characters were cool too
