Combat, companions, interesting side stories, world building. This game has the best DLC out of all the fallouts, hands down. Far Harbor is the best DLC to date.

Lucky enough to have an extended discussion with someone noteworthy at E3 recently. They slipped me some information I think you would all be very interested in.
During the September Nintendo Direct Nintendo plans to show a short teaser for their next mainline 2D Mario, titled Super Mario Brothers 4 (Super Mario Brothers 5 in JP).
The game is supposed to be a followup to Super Mario World, ignoring New Super Mario Bros. Like it's predecessors, the game is planned to add only new content with nothing familiar, save for Mario staples that have been in every 2d game (question blocks, pipes, etc). Everything else is completely new. New power ups, new level styles, new mounts ala Yoshi, new enemies, you get the picture.
The art in game is all hand drawn including the totally new overworld.
The rest of the information I have is small snippets such as:

>Multiple yoshi-like mounts including a bull type thing with a football helmet that can smash through enemies and bricks, and a toad-goomba hybrid that turns enemies into powerups (????)
>Only returning powerups are the mushroom, star, and fire flower. New powerups include a pair of metal wings that let's him double jump, "Goomba seed" that allows Mario to tame any non-boss enemy, and mole claws that let's Mario dig down into the ground, with more I haven't been told about.
I haven't been given too much info on how the powerups function but apparently the claws can be used to climb into pipes that have been destroyed, dig under and avoid certain enemies, or even find underground areas that are otherwise inaccessible.
That's all the info I have, so I guess I'll see you guys in September

>weapons are clunky and don't handle as well as in HR
>Dialogue paths are way simplified and bungled; far less variance for player choice than even HR
>garbage pre-order bonus trash that is poorly handled and explained
Is this thing even worth playing on NG+? I was frustrated to hell and back by my first runthrough of nonlethal. It's fucking annoying.

All valid criticisms. God do I hate the stupid takedowns. Mankind Divided does make some improvements (sidequests, Prague exploration, and SOME gameplay/upgrade mechanics), but ultimately Human Revolution was a more satisfying game. The original Deus Ex beats both by a MILE though.
New Game Plus doesn't belong in Deus Ex IMO, as it's a game about making choices about your playstyle and how you want to build your character.

Yeah, I found HR to be flawed, but a good game and I really liked the story, I found it solid enough to be a valid prequel to the original.
But MD seems to take everything that HR did well, and ignore it, while taking most of what made HR flawed and not fixing it.
But what I really can't forgive is the retarded story and game design.

To be fair, they did introduce the points of interest well. The game basically starts with "Here is all the stuff in the world!". The other games it gets compared to generally have good points of interest as well, they just dont have a plateau which is specifically designed to show them all at once.
