Why do movies and TV shows look smooth and normal when they're filmed at 24 fps but video games look jerky and are unplayable at 30 fps?

Why isn't 60 fps just standard across the board for all media? Even when Hobbit came out at 48 fps why did they even bother when they could have just made it 60?

movies dont look smooth at 24fps. you are a blind retard. movies arent interactive and dont have as much camera movement as a game, so it's less noticeable

Only time rolling really felt delayed for me was in Bloodborne and Dark Souls. Dark Souls 3 it's kinda random but maybe my controller was dying.

In DaS2 it's honestly 2x faster to input than Dark Souls 1, especially on console too where only the former is 60fps. Feels like the one command in the game that just fires instantly.

yeah, and this is a Sonic game, so? it's like they took the worst excesses of Sonic 3&K and put it all in a game. Just compare it to Sonic 2 which is pure unadulterated good level design with the bare gimmicks. Mania feels like a puzzle game

I like the Mass Effect books (except THAT one)
The first Hitman book is alright besides the part where 47 goes to Denny's and orders a Grand Slam breakfast. The second one is kind of weird because 47 has a love interest and dresses up as a woman at one point.
The two Resistance books were surprisingly alright, mainly the one about Capelli
