How much of a newfag are you?
Post 'em.
>couldve had >10 years on steam but thought it was a fad that would die out
I'm only lvl 8 :(
:(
what is the purpose of this screen? what kind of degeneracy did I just pay for?
>>382278460
I'm pretty sure that's the only jew shit in the entire game. The rest of the time you spend killing people.
>>382278460
It's the "don't come after us with your bullshit complaints" screen. Just ignore it.
>>382278460
Imagine if you bought a bag chips and it had "This bag of chips was made by a bunch of beaners and some white crack head" written on the front.
Video game industry is autistic as fuck and it's hilarious.
ITT: fuck you, I liked it.
I liked it too, but only because I couldn't play MK64.
>>382278159
do you even drift brah
out of this, MK64 and DKR, this was the best.
ITT: Fuck you I liked it
>>382277705
Is that a separate launcher? Is it a stand alone expansion? Or if you open DoW2 and own Retribution you get everything?
>>382277705
i enjoyed it. really bummed when i realized that all campaign scenarios were the same. endings made up for it though. lord general was prob my fav for last stand.
>>382277951
stand alone expansion
It's close. What run are you looking forward to?
All the runs look shit this year.
Not even going to bother watching.
>>382277641
Isn't that the retard who was caught cheating? And also told to shut the fuck up during somebody else's run?
>>382277968
Yes
You gunna buy one?
>>382277620
Yes, even if I have to buy it from a scalper.
already bought one
gonna be fun to use SNES controllers again
might go through every game and then resell depending on how the paunch pans out
I would like one if i can get one. Not paying above retail for one though. Also thought about just getting a sd2snes cart instead.
I bought the trilogy for my PS4, having never played Grand Theft Auto before. I started playing III, and I'm not really loving it. It strikes me as a game that was probably cooler when it came out, but didn't age well. Are Vice City and San Andreas better? Or should I just pick up V and jump in there?
>>382277320
Vice City improves on 3 on every aspect and san andreas even more, but some argue that vice city is the better game.
>>382277320
Vice City is one of the best games ever, San Andreas is garbage.
>>382277567
>>382277320
If you hate the lack of map feature in 3, it gets added started with vice city.
>>382277846
>San Andreas is garbage.
Bullshit, it was a great game.
Will it be that good, or are people just hyping it up because Marvel vs Capcom Infinite fell flat on its face?
It looks to be a high quality production but I can't imagine how they're going to make the characters feel different. There really isn't much variation between fighting styles in Dragon Ball
It will not be, because their obsession with MUH POWERLEVELS means that only a select few characters will be viable as offense/defense/support and the rest will be complete crap that will only get you through singleplayer at most.
But that's more than I can say for MvCI.
>>382277795
I'm not happy with their comments on powerlevels so far, I think they should just ignore them completely.
Fighting games are going to have irrelevant characters anyway, you shouldn't make intentionally irrelevant character.
Everyone knows phone games are almost always shit, but there have to be a few that are worthwhile. So tell me, what are the phoneshit games you've enjoyed, even if they're just a guilty pleasure?
>>382277183
Is pic related good?
>>382277249
It's mobage trash so no
>>382277249
not particularly, but if you have time to kill during commute then it's ok I guess. I played it for a week before getting bored
PS4>>>>>>>Xbox One S
PS4 Pro>>>>Xbox One X
Prove me wrong
>>382276862
PS4 Pro on an objective level gets blown away by the Xbox One X.
However PS4 has certain exclusives that may be worth the downgrade.
>>382276862
How? PS4 is literally the most ugliest and the third lowest power. Why would you not place PS4 pro over PS4 what is this hell? Who are you?
PS4>>>XB1>>>XB1X>>>>>PS4 Pro
Playing Alien Isolation on Nightmare for my first playthrough.
What kind of ass fuckery should I expect?
i just started playing in on normal and its solid! such a good game though i should of got it years ago
What if you were to give this game to, say, twenty... intelligent people i mean, what would that do? Let's face it what would it do?
>>382276758
Don't play on nightmare! That was a mode added in via a patch to make things harder for players that have already mastered the game.
Play on normal or even better, hard first as nightmare mode requires foreknowledge of how the game works and the layout of the areas first.
Has steam gone too far?
>tomboys
>>382276618
so tomboys don't deserve love?
>>382276618
Is there a word for this type of horrendous Western art that attempts to emulate anime art and just ends up looking weird in the end?
>>382276618
Get back to me when there’s a gyaru game
Guys Alvin is acting weird again...
Has he betrayed us this week yet?
>>382276427
Gee. he's already betrayed us twice, do you think it's time we called it quits and killed him?
>>382276581
H-He needs to help his m-mom...
Having never really playing any of these games, where is the best one to start?
IV. Try the PSP or GBA one.
How deep do you want to go? Staring at 1 is quite a ride if you play the NES rules.
>>382276385
Probably the PSP version of the first game. Skip II and III, jump directly on IV and then proceed from there.
I've seen gamers use the phrase, "gameplay trumps story anytime!", to justify games with poor or non-existant stories. As long as the gameplay is good it gets a pass. Now there are genres or games where gameplay IS all that matters like platformers (3D World was my GOTY 2013), Tetris and sports games.
However working through Ace Attorney series for the first time, Danganronpa 2 and DA Inquisition, story is VERY important to me.
I'll always gravitate towards a game with a great story. My favorite games I see as virtual books or interactive TV series for lack of a better way of putting it It's why I appreciate ambitious developers like Kojima and his MGS series, games that attempt a massive scope with deep lore like the Xenosaga and Mass Effect trilogies, and why I cry myself to sleep at night hoping for a sequel to Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward j/k....sort of :(
This is why I get so frustrated with games that see the story as an after-thought such as recent disappointment Fantasy Life on 3DS. Or going back a bit further, Mario Sticker Star. That one is particularly frustrating as the legendary Miyamoto who's had a hand in some of my favorite games of all time went out of his way to butcher SS and made the dev team strip out the story and keep it so minimal. From what I've read he's not a fan of story in games :(
The more technology advances, the less excuse there is for poor stories in games. I no longer have time or patience for games with good gameplay and bad stories. Great story though, I can excuse some gameplay flaws. Obviously the ideal would be for a game to have great gameplay AND story but that doesn't happen all that often.
What is your take?
>>382276000
TL;DR
Nice trips though
>>382276000
Didn't read your post, but you are objectively wrong
It depends on the Genre. Visual Novels and RPGs need some drive to them and they're heavily text-based.
Platformers and racing games, while potentially benefiting from a good story, doesn't necessarily require one, just a framework. Licensed racing games, in particular, are likely non-canon to whatever thing they're referencing and if they are canon, the series probably wasn't sweating about story or lore to begin with.
Basically, it depends on how thematic and connected you want your game to be.
Puzzles games:
>Tetris
>Having plot
