I was star last season and I'm plat this one so take it as you will.
Practice every day. Consistently every day. The important thing isn't to practice for hours. It's to do something you fucking suck at.
Now here's the hard part. To find out what you suck at you have to penetrate that thick shell of an ego and look critically at yourself. If they score don't look at your teammate and say WOW HE FUCKING BLEW THE SAVE. That's easy and will never make you a better player. Ask what you could have done differently. How did they get the ball? How did they get past you? Why weren't you there to help?
But the main thing is to just practice for 5 minutes every single damn day.

How do I getbetterat this game?
I'm getting killed from people above me, below me, right in front of me, behind me. I get instagibbed auto-knifed, I got shredded to pieces, I get kicked in the face, I get blown the fuck up, I get electrocuted.
Some games I'm a god among men, topping the board, having a real impact on my teams success, other games I'm the bottom of the barrel scrub with 1 kill to 15 deaths.
Why does this feel so inconsistent and how to better yourself? I'll keep playing for now, I heard practice makes perfect. Or just better than sub trash in my case

Sea of Thieves looks comfy as fuck. Nice colors, nice water, nice co-op features.
I'm waiting for more news about single-player content (offline play) and news about quests, exploration, and leveling up before I decide if it's worth it though.
Something's nagging at me that it's gonna flop though. Maybe because it's on the Xbone. Just feels like it doesn't have that big of a following and as much as people want ship battles they're just talking about their ass.

to me it looks like the devs are trying to combine all popular arpgs. little bit of witcher, fallout and mass effect in there. looks intriguing though, maybe i'll finally end up buying a game made in my homecountry.
