Also CAPCOM is one of my favorite devs, if they keep making Phoenix Wright, Monster Hunter and hopefully a Asura's Wrath sequel then I'm good.

Capcom has the same problems as a lot of japanese companies.
They want perpetually larger audiences and don't know how to get them. Essentially they always just dumb down their games and alienate their core fanbase to get another, large audience. Most of the time they already have the audience theyre trying to get too, and this alienates them as well.

HW1R = Broken mess; the "remaster" uses the engine from HW2, thus the mechanics of HW2. This breaks many missions, ruining quite a bit of the fun of the original game. There have been patches to "fix" complaints; but they haven't really fixed anything. It's pissed off quite a large percentage of fans.

HW2R: Its HW2, exactly as it was, only higher res.

DoK: Shit

HWR comes with the originals however. If you want to try Homeworld, play HW1 in the original form, not the remaster. Playing HW2 in the remaster is fine, as its 99% exactly the same.

Homeworld Cataclysm is on GOG. It's a solid game with many quality of life improvements. Story is lame in comparison to HW1.

The Xbox had one masterpiece (Ninja Gaiden Black). The SNES had multiple masterpieces. So the SNES Classic wins despite being an emulator box.

Backwards compatability is better in every way in this case. It's a very special case though as if Sony were to put PS2 backcompat on the PS4 I wouldn't give a shit since I can already emulate them. Since nobody has actually figured out how to properly emulate the HUEG. Also charging someone for ROMs is retarded. That being said, they better put fucking Ninja Gaiden Black on backcompat.

I think Titanfall 2 was setup for failure at launch. Not intentionally of course. It's a great game that got wedged in-between multiple other high profile releases. I hope Titanfall continues to get support and updates.

Play World of Final Fantasy if you have a Vita or PS4, it's pretty much a traditional Final Fantasy ATB game with a monster catching mechanic and some additional battle mechanics like "stacking" which make it pretty interesting.

Ignore the 1000 and Street.
If you can give up clawing and physical games (pirate them lol) for portability, get a Go.
If you prefer a blurry screen, get a 2000. If you prefer jagged pseudo-scanlines, get a 3000.

3000 has some weird dithering effect that might bother you but the battery has lasted since I got it and still has hours of life left and the actual console is fairly good quality.
