Battlefield 4 once it got fixed by Dice LA is better and I don't think Battlefield 1 is going to get that kind of treatment just because it wasn't a massive disaster at launch so EA won't care about getting it up to par.
I wouldn't mind some of then networking stuff from BF1 in BF4 but that's not a massive deal.

I used to do this with a mod Fallout 3. I would use child races and then change my spawn point to Little Lamplight and role play like I was from there at the beginning of the story. I doubt Bethesda would allow for something like this in a modern Fallout game.

Hot opinion coming through. Vanilla skyrim is actually a good game and at least waaaaay better then it gets credit for.
Pros:
Fantastic environment with loads to explore
Actually an RPG unlike FO4 and TW3
Fantastic soundtrack
Very intuitive and rewarding leveling system
Great quest variety
The dlc was very good
Good solid gear choices
Covenants
Shouts are fun as fuck
Memorable characters and lore
Cons:
Radiant quests
Flimsy combat
So-so voice acting
All in all.. The pros far outweigh the cons and it's easily bethesdas best work.

It doesn't feel rewarding when you can breeze through most of the game after gaining a few levels, much less when you can level up infinitely fast and easy, hence ruining the point of builds

"Fetch me an item in that cave full of draugrs" is not great quest variety. Also, most quests have only one outcome, leaving no way to roleplay in them
>Memorable characters
Memorable only because of their one-liners and meme responses, not because they themselves are interesting

I got to chapter 2. The gameplay was pretty fun and all, but goddamn the story is boring af. The really long talking scenes just seem so pointless, like they are wasting time from the gameplay.
Does the story pick up anytime soon?
