criminally underrated game
>>382606109
Damn, its been ten years already? I think I was ten when I played this. My memories all fuzzy, but man was this a fantastic game. Too bad we haven't gotten a sequel yet. I'd love to play as a new group.
It's many years later and I'm still mad at just how unbelievably badly they ruined the plot/storyline.
this better have the best map on it......
>nu-blizzard
What did you expect
They ruined SC and Diablo franchises. Probably WoW too but I stopped playing before BC.

Just bought this, aside from Super Resident evil 4 EX Hyper Ultra HD UNRATED Remix, what should I expect? I've heard good things.
It really isn't like RE4. I would say it's closer to the last of us.
Awful fucking controls and camera
These threads got be shill threads. This is like 12th thread about this game in 2 weeks.

Games a bait and switch
Its a brawler for the first half of the game only
How are you enjoying BOTW's dlc?
>>382605180
Still waiting on the second pack to dive into BoTW again. I'm itching for another playthrough though, so I might cave in before then.
>>382605180
No lie. I bought the Expansion Pass just to dress Link up as Tingle.
Just finished the Great Plateau on hard mode and went racing to Hyrule castle to stock up on good weapons.
Trash mobs on the GP finally made me realize why everyone hates the durability system. Whilst I never had a problem with it in my main playthrough and actually liked it forcing me to use different weapons, HM means that, regardless of skill, I can't clear some enemy camps, period. The gear return vs. the gear used on them means there's no point in engaging in a lot of fights, and now I'm just forced to run away.
Not sure how I feel about the HM so far, but hopefully with loads of gear the game will feel okay again...

Would you buy it? Would nintendo be BTFO with this masterpiece?
No because Sony would never be able to organise the licences for those third party games

Daily reminder that BotW and Bloodborne shits all over TW3
>fighting games
>literally spending hundreds of dollars on a special controller and thousands of hours practicing offline just to be able to play other humans and actually have fun playing the game instead of just mashing and getting destroyed in 10 seconds or less over and over
>need to have multiple friends who have also invested as much as you have to play them or you're stuck playing random players online with 5000 ping and dogshit netcode
Is there a worse genre?
I consider myself a casual fighting game player
I only play single player unless I have IRL friends and idk, something is just so satisfying about getting so good I destroy the AI
no, rts is the worst
also, you can play with pads (fighting game pads are cheap), current games have decent netcode (xrd rev 2 for example) and just werks
you can git casual in a couple of hours if you aren't a monkey as well
>>382604452
>literally spending hundreds of dollars on a special controller
You can get by just fine with a regular pad, and hell even for genres like Tekken it matters even less what kind of controller you use.
>thousands of hours practicing offline
Practice is required if you want to get good at anything.
>mashing and getting destroyed in 10 seconds or less over and over
The fuck you mashing for if it keeps getting you destroyed?
So this is the power of the Playstation™ Vita

>bubbles covering the good parts

What the fuck? Is that a neptunia game? I don't care if it's supposed to be a gag, it looks gay as fuck. Just lost some respect for the series.
>>382604082
I don't even get the premise. Why is a midget shooting at and humping Nep. Then again, it's a Vita game so whatever.
>no region lock
>no dumb proprietary port
>one of the cheapest console launches ever
>allows cross platform multiplayer
what the fuck when did Nintendo stop being retarded?
They didn't
I don't know but i wish they'd bribe fucking capcom to port over XX.
At the same time I don't care because I don't have time to play it anyway.
>>382603704
Where's the built-in online voice chat, then?
I just got the game
Any tips?
What origin do I pick?
Why is the update 9GBs?

For your first playthrough I'd say just get violent past, get the saw cleaver as your weapon and you can keep it the whole game if you want. Learn to parry with your pistol early in the game, and keep an aggressive attitude while fighting.
OP I'm actually finishing my first playthrough myself, on final DLC boss. If you've played a souls game before you'll know that leveling isn't as crucial as other games. That said, if you run short on blood vials you should consider not leveling once after a boss and buy vials in bulk.
Alternatively, once you've unlocked the Great Bridge lamp, that's a great spot to run down the bridge and farm blood vials.

The other thing I wish I would've known earlier in the game (my own fault for not looking it up sooner) is that gem fortifications work like badges in Mario RPG games in the sense that they're not permanent to one weapon, and you'll gradually find gems that give your weapon stronger buffs and often elemental ones - meaning you don't have to commit a weapon to an element choice nor depend on the fire and bolt papers. Also, runes work like rings in dark souls, you can equip them right next to the workshop tool table. Use these to your advantage - I didn't know about them or use any until I was deep into the second half of the game
