Why are female protagonists so much better than male ones?
>>382744016
i dunno go to sleep
Name 3.
>>382744016
No they're not. Men are stronger than women.
What do you want to see in a sequel?
A good game
Normal controls
>>382744919
Motion controls are way better than traditional analog controls
Alright /v/, how do we save the Final Fantasy Franchise? FFXV released almost a year ago and the critical reception of the game was "mixed". What can we do and what does Square need to do so that FFXVI doesn't end up like XV?
Hire someone who has honest-to-God made a decent action game.
We can't, we just have to retreat into our nostalgia and ignore everything else.
I don't really get what final fantasy is anymore. At times it seems like a name they slap into things to boost sales.
What videogames did you play today?
>>382741741
I played:
Diablo 3
Minecraft
Doom
Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy (in conjunction with my wife since the game arrived in the mail today).
Dominions 4
StarCraft 1
>>382741741
depression
>no Armored Core for the PS4
What's the point of this console?
Unarmored Core, aka Bloodborne
>>382742667
They play absolutely nothing alike.
The average soulsbabby would get a purpled asshole from 10 minutes in an Armored Core game.
>>382742929
>They play absolutely nothing alike.
I was making a joke, don't take yourself so seriously. Nobody else does.
What are the best VR games?
I already have Sairento and House of the Dying Sun
VR is like an electronic tax on stupidity
>>382741846
Wait for the next VR boom in the 2030s.
>>382741846
t. poorfag
puketard
4.1 was fucking garbage, Insect Armageddon was infinitely better.
>>382741119
>>382742098
Is this the infamous "shit taste" I hear so much about?
Comfy, fun, not bitching about the Dark Souls meme Crash thread. How are your thumbs?
I just got 100% on 1, how disappointed in the difficulty drop am I going to be with 2? I haven't played it in forever.
What stage gave you the most trouble for no reason? I don't mean of the obvious hard ones. Fumbling in the dark can go fuck itself in half. For some reason those hidden boxes at the start cost me an amount of lives I wish not to admit.
I hope the return of Crash Bandicoot kills all muslims.
Just beat Warped 105% and the Platinum Trophy a minute ago.
Fastest I completed 3 games in a row.
>>382740228
It's nice to see the franchise is hitting such a broad demographic. I wish you a pleasant evening genocide anon.
>how bout we give the class meant for ambushing and spychecking at very close range the ability to set people on fire from a long range?
>that's stupid *valve dev name* on its own, we should also give it the ability to crit players and instantly kill them too!
>while we're at it boys let's make it automatically reload!TF2 has been fucking terrible a long time before 2017. Bad game designers never change.
>>382738730
>i am so bad
>i only play spy to get kill
>>382738730
>soldier must always be the best class
>>382738730
>TF2 has been fucking terrible a long time before 2017.
FUCKING THIS.
I agree, it's been terrible since 2007 to be honest.
This is still the best game of the decade
I didn't enjoy it, but I can understand why people like it.
>>382737637
what decade? 2010~2020? I prefer Dark Souls 3, the only thing I enjoyed more about 1 was the intricate world design, though I still very much enjoyed it
>>382737637
That's not Bloodborne.
>there are people who unironically think quick traveling is a bad mechanic
Wew, lads.
It's only a good thing because of shitty map design and oversized open worlds
If people knew how to design a proper map quick travelling wouldnt be so important to people
>>382737697
The "no quick traveling" allowed crowd actually wants you to manually travel in the world. They say it's 'realistic' or the 'only way to explore'.
>>382737901
Yes but they also want the worlds to be fun to travel. What's the problem with that?
If pillaging towns and having slaves wasn't frowned upon back in ancient times then why would it be considered an evil thing during a time of post-apocalypse when human civilization reverted back to the age of the tribals?
He literally did nothing wrong.
Because morals are the only recourse of the losing side and weapon of those who have no other weapons.
Because guess what conservative/libertarian policies don't work
Because it was discovered that positive-sum games are better for everyone involved. Besides, tribalism is still very much present today, tribal chiefs are just called "warlords" and "juntas" their domains "third world shitholes".
Now, this kind of societal developments arguably was bootstrapped by slave labour, serf system and the like supporting an intellectual caste who had the opportunity to come up with more optimal ways to set up a society, but there shouldn't be a lingering doubt about what is the better way given that we're past that hurdle.
>Miyazaki describes himself as a difficult child. “Unlike most kids in Japan, I didn’t have a dream,” he says. “I wasn’t ambitious.” He eventually found himself aimlessly pursuing a degree in social science at the well-respected Keio University. As he approached graduation, he considered applying to a game development studio, but drifted into a job at the US IT company Oracle Corporation.
>Several years later, he started thinking about video games again. He met up with some former college friends who suggested new titles to play. One was Ico, a mystical fairytale in which players assume the role of a boy who must lead a waif-like girl by the hand along a castle’s craggy ramparts, pursued by their ghoulish captors. “That game awoke me to the possibilities of the medium,” says Miyazaki. “I wanted to make one myself.”
>But Miyazaki had a problem: at 29, he was too old to apply for graduate positions and too inexperienced for anything else. “Not a lot of places would take me,” he says. “From Software was one of the few.” Ema Kodaka, who edits Miyazaki’s scripts, believes this career change, which resulted in a considerable drop in pay, might be why he is held in such regard by his staff. “He is a unique talent,” she says. “In Japan, even today, people usually join a company as a graduate and stay for life. For Miyazaki to change career and, within 10 years, become company president – that’s unprecedented in Japan. It’s inspiring.”
Why haven't you mad that video game yet, anon?
not interested
Not smart or talented
i don't know how, plus odds are it'll sell like 10 copies
>Tekken failed
>Injustass failed
>Goober Gear failed
>Mortal Kombat failed
>Blazeblue failed
>KOF never stood a fucking chance
>Smash isn't a fighting game
>Neither is Pokken
>DBZ is next
Hail to the king.
>>382734379

>>382734460
More people play it than whatever piece of shit dead kusoge you like.
Tekken's doing fine hombre
Who wore it better?
>>382733260
Doom obviously
>>382733260
DOOM because it has less technical issues
both are very solid fps
DOOM is a bit easier in the end though
I liked the story in Wolfenstein more than I liked DOOM (2016).
